Clarence Thomas blasts media, defends
Supreme Court after Texas abortion decision

Justice Clarence Thomas became the latest member of the U.S. Supreme Court to take aim at the media, defending the court as nonpartisan Thursday as he warned against "destroying our institutions because they don't give us what we want, when we want it," according to reports. "I think the media makes it sound as though you are just always going right to your personal preference," Thomas told an audience at the University of Notre Dame, the Washington Post reported. "So if they think you are anti-abortion or something personally, they think that’s the way you always will come out. They think you’re for this or for that."

I would like Justice Thomas to discuss the REAL reasons that the S.C. refused to accept ANY of the cases brought before it relating to the Nov election. The claim of ' no standing' prior to, or after, the election is blatantly bogus. At the very least, STATES have standing when they represent their citizens.

We need to know if the John Roberts on the Epstein flight logs was our Chief Justice, and if he's being blackmailed. John Roberts is a common name, but there weren't many commoners on those flights.. Epstein's Lolita plane was a Boeing 727 with a seating capacity of 200, modified for private use. Hundreds flew to that evil island. It's been years since the FBI raid but so far only Epstein and Maxwell have been charged. Obviously, many elites are skating.

I echo #3 and #4. I am disappointed that the November election was not heard by the Supreme Court and that includes the conservatives on the court. You expect it from the liberals but not the others. With the gymnast testifying before the Senate panel about Larry Nasser, it made me draw a few conclusions. Whether it is Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein, Larry Nasser, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, it seems to be acceptable behavior for an elitist. And the FBI seems to agree. . .

The SC is charged with interpreting / ruling on law IAW the Constitution - not popular opinion, which is politics. There is an established order of jurisdiction decisions which, when followed judiciously, removes the SC from taking cases; Else the Court would be overwhelmed. The recent Texas case ruling was not about abortion but about that jurisdiction. To the dims and media everything is politics and damn the Constitution.

"I think the media makes it sound as though you are just always going right to your personal preference," That’s true about demonrat judges - they will always vote their personal preferences, but it is only brought up by the media when they are going after conservative judges. The court is not non-partisan - just take a look at Sotomayor and Kagan.

The Supreme Court's failure to issue any opinion on the merits regarding any of the voter fraud cases is in the "Top 5" of its worst failures in history. The resulting damages (that would have been avoided) may be 100% irreparable. Only time will tell. If not 100% irreparable, the damages are at least partially irreparable, and correcting the continuing (on-going) damages will take years. The Court choked when it was historically critical that it do its duty.

I bet if the stolen election was presented today it would have 'standing'. The days following maybe not so much but I believe it was the Congress with the dead head republicans that should have spoke up. When they refuse to act then bring it to the SC. My thought was at the time John Roberts was frightened of the riots in the streets if they went against the 'steal' screw the people who voted for Trump. It does appear they/he (Roberts, the supreme court) were part of the coup if you ask me except for Thomas.

Why Does America Lag Behind the World
on Unborn Life?

The first inalienable right mentioned in the Declaration of Independence is the right to life. Yet America, which enshrines that right in our founding document, does a worse job of protecting unborn life than most other countries. The Supreme Court now has a chance to begin ending this injustice and ensuring that America lives up to its promise. We’re both shocked at how far the U.S. falls short in protecting life. We’ve spent the better part of our careers striving to change that. One of us (Ambassador Haley) has also seen how life is devalued across the rest of the world.

Five reasons the California recall is

For conservatives sorting through the wreckage of the unsuccessful California gubernatorial recall effort, there are reasons to be hopeful. Here are five of them. First, for a liberal like Gov. Gavin Newsom to break a sweat in a liberal bastion speaks volumes. It would be akin to the 1992 Olympic Dream Team struggling to hold off Cuba for the basketball gold medal. Sure, the outcome was not close, but when Democrats outnumber Republicans nearly two-to-one, this race should never have risen to the level it did. Ink should never even have been spilled on its analysis.

Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., railed against a judge’s decision to block a Minneapolis ballot measure that would replace the city's police department with a new department of public safety. During an in-person town hall meeting Tuesday evening in Minneapolis, Omar blamed big money for thwarting a progressive measure that she argued would have given the city "flexibility" on how to better police the city. "The leaders who are opposed to progress in this city are not nameless or faceless," she said. "Using your network to obstruct the kind of progress so many people in this city want and were looking forward to is not something that should go unnoticed."

During Monday's visit to Boise, Idaho, Biden received a briefing about the ongoing wildfires that have plagued several states out west. While Biden spoke for much of the briefing, at one point he said he wanted to hear more from George Geissler of the National Association of State Foresters. "Can I ask you a question?" Biden asked. "Of course," Geissler responded. "One of the things that I've been working on with some others is —" Biden said before being cut off mid-sentence.

Somber ceremonies marking the 9/11 attacks are a hallowed annual tradition, but as the 20th anniversary arrives with the Taliban suddenly back in control of Afghanistan, America's enduring sense of loss is compounded by the realization that, in many ways, we're back where we started. Any “mission accomplished” moment President Joe Biden hoped to deliver by ending America’s longest war ahead of the historic date was irrevocably marred by the rapid collapse of the U.S.-backed government and its replacement by a regime of militant Guantanamo Bay alumni.

Newsom appeared at a get out the vote event with Black elected leaders in Crenshaw ahead of the Sept. 14 recall election, in which Californians will decide whether to recall the governor or keep him in office. Voters who choose "yes" to recall will also be able to pick one of 46 candidates to replace the governor. Elder, a conservative radio host, is the clear front-runner among the candidates and could make history as California’s first Black governor.
