California sheriff refuses to enforce
vaccine mandate, says government
lacks 'authority'

A California sheriff said he will not enforce any vaccine mandate on employees of his department, citing the government having "no authority to mandate your health choices." "Over the past couple of weeks, the idea of forced vaccination has caused much concern across the entire country," Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said in a statement released Monday. "I will not enforce the vaccine mandate on Sheriff's Department employees." "The government has no ability and no authority to mandate your health choices," he said. "As your sheriff, I have an obligation to guard your liberty and freedom."

Another patriot. We all need to stand up to this authoritarianism!

This mandate should be illegal, and a US government that is what it pretends to be would not even consider it. Where is the GOP on the national level?

The sheriff is right. No authority. Legal/illegal doesn't enter into the picture. No authority. They might as well be a little kid shouting from the sidewalk that you need to paint your car red. Just as much authority. They do have guns, though. Of course, so do a lot of American citizens. In fact, the armed citizens vastly outnumber these petty would-be tyrants and their taxpayer funded hired thugs.

Sheriffs are elected in their county. Sheriffs are unique law enforcement officers, very interested in providing the kind of law enforcement that their county's citizens want. Good job, Sheriff.

The sheriff's (correct) opinion applies only to employees of the sheriff's department in that county. Members of the US Congress and their staff, and the judiciary, and illegal aliens, and people on welfare, are likewise exempt from forced vaccination. Why do they have more rights than the common slob on the street?

After the predicted Newsom non-recall, it’s nice to see a sheriff who follows the law. Too many think mandates are law. They’re not.

Do these sheriffs, the few that I've been reading about, care only about their employees, or are they also adverse to enforcing the mandate to the citizens in their counties?

Good for Sheriff Bianco! More law enforcement agency leaders should follow his lead. This probably won't happen because municipal police chiefs are not elected, but appointed by city counsel's and serve at the pleasure of the City Manager. They don't want to risk their pension and will do whatever they're told to do by their puppet masters.

Last week we observed the twenty-year anniversary of one of the most significant events in recent American history – September 11th, 2001. Around that same time, there was another, less-publicized anniversary. On Labor Day 2020, the innocent life of a precious little girl was taken away by armed thugs on the streets of a Democrat-run city: Chicago. A city that gets more violent every week.Dajore Wilson was a beautiful, eight-year-old girl from Chicago – who happened to be black – and who died on Labor Day 2020 after multiple gunshots were fired into the car in which she was traveling, along with her parents and an adult, family friend.

Conservative author and commentator Candace Owens was denied medical care in the form of a coronavirus test by a Colorado laboratory because of her political beliefs, Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson reported Thursday. Owens was sent a letter by Aspen Laboratories co-founder Suzanna Lee informing her that her "booking" was being cancelled and that she would be "denied service" because of both her aversion to governmental facemask mandates and her analysis of the effectiveness of vaccination shots.

When I left Los Angeles the other day, I suddenly realized that almost no one was buzzing about the recall race. Ordinary folks weren’t chattering about it. I didn’t see anything on local TV news. The papers were covering it, but the campaign seemed as remote as a Malibu mountaintop. In fact, the only political passion I saw was at an anti-vaccination rally in Santa Monica, which prompted plenty of horn-honking among passing drivers in the liberal enclave. But with three weeks to go, the national media have suddenly woken up to the fact that Larry Elder could be the next California governor, and are hitting him with a sledgehammer.

Those who follow the deep weeds of GOP politics already knew this was part of the plan. California voters overwhelmingly chose to keep Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom in office in a recall election on Tuesday. Newsom was spared after a projection by the Associated Press showed that a majority of voters opted against recalling him. With 61 percent of the estimated vote in, early returns showed that 5.3 million voters supported keeping Newsom in office, while 2.5 million Californians voted in favor of his removal. The September 14 recall election was triggered after a petition to remove Newsom received more than 1.6 million verified signatures — a sign of Californians’ frustration

It’s a startling beginning of an obituary announcing the passing of Candace Cay Ayers from complications of severe COVID-19. “She was preceded in death by more than 4,531,799 others infected with covid-19. She was vaccinated but was infected by others who chose not to be. The cost was her life,” it reads. The Springfield, Illinois, mother was 66 and received her second shot of the Moderna vaccine in March, said Marc Ayers, her son. But the family believes she caught the breakthrough infection in July after visiting an unvaccinated friend in Mississippi. Her condition deteriorated quickly and she died on

Earlier this month, President Biden signed an executive order with a lofty goal: he wants over half of all vehicle sales to be electric vehicles by 2030. The CEOs of GM (GM), Ford (F), and Stellantis (STLA) attended the White House event and threw their support behind the measure, pledging to put billions of dollars into manufacturing EVs and to work with Democrats to have American workers produce them. “There’s no turning back. When Joe Biden’s Health and Human Services made the announcement earlier this month (LINK) that they were taking full control over Monoclonal Antibody drugs (mAb) in order to begin rationing the highly effective treatment for COVID-19 infection, several people sounded alarm bells as there was the potential for rationing of COVID treatment based on political ideology. Representative Chip Roy of Texas was one of the first to raise concerns (link). The change in HHS approach followed republican governor Ron DeSantis of Florida promoting the use of mAb and opening up dozens of treatment centers throughout his state. Other governors quickly took notice of the effective action plan

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Despite warnings the race would be close, California Gov. Gavin Newsom decisively defeated efforts to kick him out of office, a win the Democrat cast as an endorsement of his handling of the coronavirus pandemic and his party’s liberal values. Newsom cruised to victory in the recall election Tuesday, boosted by healthy turnout among an overwhelmingly Democratic electorate, ensuring the nation’s most populous state will remain a laboratory for progressive policies. With an estimated two-thirds of ballots counted, the “no” response to the question of whether to recall Newsom was ahead by a 30-point margin.
