Students at a Washington state high school wanted to mark the 20th year since the Sept. 11 attacks by wearing red, white and blue at a patriotic-themed game but were refused because the event could "unintentionally cause offense to some who see it differently," according to a report. Jason Rantz, a host on KTTH 770/94.5FM, reported that the event was canceled by an unnamed staffer at Eastlake High School in Sammamish "at the last minute." A student told the show that he was informed that the "red, white and blue was going to be seen as racially insensitive and may affect people in a way that we will not understand

Isn't that precious! We are just so politically correct. Our bleeding hearts are on our sleeves. The only ones who will "see it differently" are members of the left-wing media press, all of whom wish to see the U S destroyed. That will give them a big news story. They will then be killed, but they will get the scoop first.

It's like one of those movies where an adult and a child switch bodies. We all now treat the Country like the only American history is that of the Democrat Party atrocities (why is that not a phrase that rolls off all tongues -- Democrat Party Atrocities), while the Democrat Party acts like they were the good guy in all that stuff. Remarkable.

I have been saying for several years that we are a country governed by the offended few.. I'm afraid that the current US doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to win a WWII. We have become soft, decadent and risk adverse. Not just rise adverse, but unwilling to be inconvenienced or uncomfortable. We live in a country where voting is seen as hard. Very bad things are in our future.

There should be tremendous push-back against those who are so easily offended. We should double our efforts to offend them. However, I think it's a BS move done to squelch any show of patriotism anywhere by any one. Do it anyway, Kids...learn to be rebels for a higher cause than to 'not offend'.

This particular school hiding the national colors is merely the symptom of a larger disease. They do this in the UK too, only flying the Union Jack on special days so as not to offend the Newcomers. It's a communist thing; replace the native population with outsiders while at the same time denigrating the native population and its national culture and traditions, all to pave the way for the global government to come. Our own government, which is controlled by the same elements, would brand this as a conspiracy theory.

Sammamish is a bedroom community outside of Seattle, where most of the residents work for Microsoft, Amazon or Expedia as well as other high-tech workers. A significant proportion of the growth of the community in the last 10 years is Indian, Arab and Chinese, (and to a lesser extent Russian) coming in to replace Americans (usually over 40), with cheaper H1-B workers. Politically, it is stuck in the Seattle corridor, where even many Republicans are Democrats.

Five reasons the California recall is

For conservatives sorting through the wreckage of the unsuccessful California gubernatorial recall effort, there are reasons to be hopeful. Here are five of them. First, for a liberal like Gov. Gavin Newsom to break a sweat in a liberal bastion speaks volumes. It would be akin to the 1992 Olympic Dream Team struggling to hold off Cuba for the basketball gold medal. Sure, the outcome was not close, but when Democrats outnumber Republicans nearly two-to-one, this race should never have risen to the level it did. Ink should never even have been spilled on its analysis.

Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., railed against a judge’s decision to block a Minneapolis ballot measure that would replace the city's police department with a new department of public safety. During an in-person town hall meeting Tuesday evening in Minneapolis, Omar blamed big money for thwarting a progressive measure that she argued would have given the city "flexibility" on how to better police the city. "The leaders who are opposed to progress in this city are not nameless or faceless," she said. "Using your network to obstruct the kind of progress so many people in this city want and were looking forward to is not something that should go unnoticed."

During Monday's visit to Boise, Idaho, Biden received a briefing about the ongoing wildfires that have plagued several states out west. While Biden spoke for much of the briefing, at one point he said he wanted to hear more from George Geissler of the National Association of State Foresters. "Can I ask you a question?" Biden asked. "Of course," Geissler responded. "One of the things that I've been working on with some others is —" Biden said before being cut off mid-sentence.

Somber ceremonies marking the 9/11 attacks are a hallowed annual tradition, but as the 20th anniversary arrives with the Taliban suddenly back in control of Afghanistan, America's enduring sense of loss is compounded by the realization that, in many ways, we're back where we started. Any “mission accomplished” moment President Joe Biden hoped to deliver by ending America’s longest war ahead of the historic date was irrevocably marred by the rapid collapse of the U.S.-backed government and its replacement by a regime of militant Guantanamo Bay alumni.

Voters who choose "yes" to recall will also be able to pick one of 46 candidates to replace the governor. As Joe Biden entered office in January 2021, there still roared a left-wing revolution, a woke madness spreading through popular culture and Congress, much of which he indirectly has aided and abetted. It has redefined not just politics but the rules of the presidency. And the eventual casualty of these radical shifts in protocols and customs will be—Joe Biden. Take impeachment, which heretofore had been rare and has still never led to a Senate conviction. Prior to Trump, Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton were the only presidents to have been impeached (Richard Nixon resigned to avoid it), and both were acquitted in the Senate.
