Facing a recall election Tuesday that could soon leave him without a job, California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been pointing to Texas as an example of where the Golden State is headed if Republicans take over, according to a report. While campaigning last week, Newsom, a Democrat, made reference to a new Texas abortion law that many liberals fear could lead to the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, the 1973 decision that legalized abortion in America."The whole idea that a constitutional right, the right to choice, the right to reproductive freedom, rights of women, now are under assault

Yeah, a growing economy, low taxes, low gas prices, lots of jobs. Gee, you wouldn't want stuff like that in California.

We have to get rid of this loser. He's just carrying out jerry brown's plan to destroy California. When jerry brown became governor in about 1976 , California was the 4th largest economy in the world, It was ranked first in schools, had some of he best roads/highways in the country and (with a population 18 million) had enough stored water for 20 million people and all the farmers with plans and money for 3 more dams to increase storage to accommodate 40 million people. jerry brown and his cronies stopped it all. We have dropped to 9th or 10th in the world and are probably dead last in schools and have to drive on some of the worst roads in America. All gavin nonsense has done is continue, if not accelerate this trend. He has to go!

What wrong with Texas, Gov SoyBoy? Booming economy, growing population, happy citizens....it sounds like what California USED to be like. Now Cali is unrecognizable to its heyday-I think the Beach Boys would've moved to Houston. Cali (and Oregon/Washinton) needs an enema and total flush of all the liberals. Gruesome Nuisance and the Dems keep trying to frame the debate around national issues. Big mistake and they've sealed their own fate. This election is all about Gruesome and only Gruesome. The Brillcream dictator has radicalized the sleeping California electorate, those laid-back folks that couldn't be bothered with politics. He's presided over home confinement, bankruptcies, closed schools, increased homelessness, law enforcement officers picked off by ambush, and rioting condoned and blessed by political apparatchiks. Premium gasoline just went over $5.00 per gallon. Illegals are pouring into our state with every third world disease, let alone the China Bio-weapon. Our forests are on fire. We have no water. Our crops are failing and turning to dust in the richest farmland in America. The "bullet train" has been downsized from Bakersfield to Modesto, yet half built bridges stand mute in a devastated agricultural area. Shall I go on? Gruesome better book that U-Haul truck. They're as rare as an honest politician in California. Larry Elder for California's First Black White Supremacists Governor!

The only chit in texas streets is REAL bull chit, after the gathers, cattle drives and the trail rides...and it gets cleaned up by the next morning. "California" IS Becoming Texas...some of their top businesses and industries are moving there. California's folks can be divided into three distinct economic, social and cultural regions, vertically through the state. The coastal, central valley and Mountain/east slope, it is the coastals who have run things for tooo long, and it is them that are fast losing not only their economic base but, political support. Valley and mountain/desert folks are mostly "normal", just as New Yorkers that do not live in the 5 boroughs are.

I have lived in California for all of my 66 years. During that time I have witnessed this once desirable state decline to where it is now thanks to the one party rule of the Democrats. There have been a number of horrible governors in this state, but Gavin Newsom by far is the worst. He would like you to believe that the mean (Trump) Republicans want to replace him, and he will protect us all from the COVID-19 virus. His commercials state "it's a matter of life or death" that the recall be defeated because Gavin is doing such a bang up job for the state. I would like to remind people that California now has the highest gasoline prices in the nation. Income and corporate taxes are some of the highest in the nation causing businesses and citizens to flee to other states. Housing prices are unaffordable for most people. California now has the highest homeless population in the nation. Have you been to LA or SF lately to see the homeless camps along the freeways? Crime is through the roof especially in the S hole of city called San Francisco. Let us not forget that as soon as he took office Gavin Newsom ordered a moratorium on the death penalty, overturning the will of the people. Gavin Newsom protected us from COVID alright. His arbitrary lockdown, mask mandates, closing of restaurants, and schools wreaked havoc on the economy and our children's mental health. This hypocrite was caught dining at the exclusive French Laundry Restaurant while not wearing a mask during his lock down, and he sent his kids to private schools while yours were being tough at home via Zoom. I don't care what political party you affiliate yourself with but this failed politician must be removed from office for the sake of our children and grandchildren. If you live in California vote YES to recall Gavin Newsom!
