A Texas hospital system imposed "new restriction criteria" on the use of ivermectin, excluding the anti-parasitic agent from treatment of COVID-19.
St. Luke's Health will only allow its infectious disease physicians to use the drug for preventive treatment of strongyloidiasis, a roundworm infection, according to a Sept. 2 directive shared with Just the News.
Its wording suggests that non-infectious disease physicians had been considering or actually prescribing ivermectin for COVID patients.
The relatively cheap treatment has been promoted by an eclectic group of influencers. Evolutionary biologist and former Evergreen State College professor Bret Weinstein has regularly touted ivermectin on his DarkHorse podcast, which led YouTube to demonetize his channel.

Twenty years on, more than 7,300 days, and the images and stories can still bring you right back to that terrible day. But the 9/11 anniversary is, and always will be, a time to remember not just the horrors but the heroes.
The moments of silence, starting at 8:46 a.m., are rightly when we pause and reflect on the nearly 3,000 lost to the terror attacks. The reading of names by loved ones is always a heartbreaker, perhaps even more so now that some of those who take the stage were babes in the womb when the towers fell.

Since our founding in 1776, the United States or her territories have been attacked 16 times before September 11, 2001. Unlike military attacks by foreign powers in 1812 (Great Britain) and 1941 (Japan), September 11, 2001 was an attack on the United States by terrorists; not a foreign country but a group of 19 radical individuals from four countries that took exception with America's free, open and inclusive society.
WHY THEY ATTACKED US
America stood for the promise of inalienable rights for all…for life, liberty, private property and the pursuit of happiness. 9/11 was an attack on the very reason we exist – our love of freedom,

Editor’s Note: This account was originally shared on the political message board “RightNation.Us” on September 11, 2003. It details the firsthand experience of “Tilly” — who miraculously lived through that harrowing day. “Tilly” was kind enough to let me share this on FTRRadio.com (on “Gillespie” which I co-hosted or possibly my own show, “Q With a View”) several years ago. I am excerpting it here but highly encourage you to read the entire account. I return to read it every year. And it always delivers a gut punch. This year, I made a point to take my time with it; to stop and visualize the directions

The diversity office of a Maryland county planned to commemorate 9/11 by hosting a play that it said “explores themes like Islamophobia” and “expose[s] the racial and ethnic prejudices” against Muslims — in which the main Arab-American character admits he was “proud” when the Twin Towers fell, and another says America “deserved what it got.”
Howard County was set to host the play on Saturday, the twentieth anniversary of the terrorist attacks that killed 3,000 Americans. “County Executive Calvin Ball will provide opening remarks,” an announcement from the county executive and the Office of Human Rights & Equity said.

Another media scare story about Ivermectin has fallen apart, marking the third time in about a week that the media has failed when it comes to this particular drug.
This is not to say that anyone should be rushing to take the human version of Ivermectin to treat COVID-19 — that’s a decision between you and your doctor — but the way the media has covered this drug has been a disaster.
The latest failure comes from KTSM, which cited a 2011 study from Nigeria that was small and questionable to claim that Ivermectin causes infertility in 85% of men.

Social media erupted Thursday following President Joe Biden’s announcement that he will be mandating vaccination, testing, and mask requirements for not just federal employees, but many private businesses, too.
“Companies with at least 100 employees must require their employees get vaccinated or submit to weekly COVID-19 tests under a new Biden administration plan to combat the coronavirus and encourage vaccination,” The Daily Wire reported. “President Joe Biden is scheduled to outline a revamped federal strategy to address COVID-19 that includes far more invasive regulations and restrictions than the federal government has put in place to date. Part of Biden’s six-point plan involves cracking down on 100+ employee companies

The mayor of Surfside, Fla. — the site of a deadly condominium building collapse in June — is giving tenants 45 days to vacate a building he owns for repairs.
Surfside Mayor Charles Burkett released a letter late Thursday night that he sent to the residents of The Lois Apartments, according to WPLG local10.com.
In the letter, Burkett said he’s been waiting for Miami Beach to allow them to repair damage caused by Hurricane Irma in 2017, according to The Associated Press.
He also said the building will undergo the required 40-year inspection early due to the collapse of the Chaplain Towers South condominium that caused the deaths of close to 100 people.

Several victims of the tragic Surfside, Florida, condo collapse earlier this year allegedly had their identities stolen by a group of people.
As reported by The Hill, three people face several charges connected to identity theft, as announced by authorities on Wednesday. The three face accusations of stealing a minimum of $45,000, which does not include an additional $67,000 that they tried to take.
The Hill reported:
Miami-Dade County State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said in a news conference that the actions of the thieves were first identified by a sister of a deceased victim on July 9, roughly 16 days after the building collapsed.

Moments later, the would-be robber approached a customer who was walking towards the store. The suspect then approached the customer, flashed his gun and demanded his belongings, according to police.
Police said the customer, who had his own gun, pulled it out and shot the suspect in the face.

A lot has been written lately at American Thinker regarding ivermectin. Here's a slightly different take that examines not only ivermectin's use, but also the benefits of repurposing drugs that have already passed FDA muster.
First off, ivermectin is safe. (Disclaimer: This column does not offer medical advice. Always consult your physician before deciding to take any medicine.)
Currently, in the United States, ivermectin is administered to humans in pill form to treat internal parasites, as a topical cream for rosacea, and in either form to treat scabies. Similarly, it is administered to animals to treat both internal and external parasites

On Sunday morning at the Dallas area’s respected Prestonwood Baptist Church, Pastor Jack Graham delivered two strong—really electrifying—messages before he preached this week’s sermon.
First, he asked that the lights be brought up in Prestonwood’s cavernous auditorium so that churchgoers on hand and those watching online could see and pray over 13 large American flags draped over rows of pews all over the main floor and in the balcony, honoring the 13 fallen heroes killed in the humiliating military defeat engineered by President Joe Biden. It was a heartbreaking and powerful reminder that we owe so very much to young people who enlist in our Armed Forces,
