Republicans are ripping the Biden administration on Thursday over its plan to crack down on big meatpacking companies and for blaming a sharp increase in grocery prices under President Biden's watch on beef, pork and poultry. It comes after the Biden administration announced plans to take a tougher stance toward meatpacking companies it says are causing sticker shock at grocery stores. Four companies control much of the US meat processing market, and White House officials blamed those companies for rising food prices.
Cheap ploy for green new deal BS without saying the words.
Cost of goods equals cost + profit. Why cost of oil goes up, cost of feed goes up. Cost of transport goes up. Cost of utilities goes up. Everything costs more, not just food. F You Biden is to blame.

Excuse me, I have to run to the store and horde some meat.
Because any time a Demon-Rat tries to "cure" a problem with their total lack of logic, reason, and facts, you know meat is going to be twice as expensive, and 4 times harder to get!!!

Yes, beef, pork and poultry have gone up. But so has EVERYTHING ELSE. Inflation is YOUR fault. My birdseed is now $3 more a bag, cat food up $.27 cents a can, the 2 liter pop, up $.70, gas over $1 a gallon. I am now buying things on "sale" that were the old price the week before. Now they have gone or are going up as soon as the "sale" is over. This is at your feet. Your administration sucks.

Stop this stampede toward totalitarianism now.
Seems Biden has been harboring hatred and a gnawing vengeance against us, the USA, for all the times he ran for POTUS and lost.
As i often saw, we are being "governed" by foolish children. Just listen to those whiney, simpering demands and the stomping of little feet as they pout and pound the table with their soft, puny hands. But they are dangerous, because they've never had to live with and contend with reality and think they must get their way or else they'll really let one loose.
Now they have gramps Biden holding them on his lap.

The left want us dependent on them for food OR to starve to death because it too much money, they want to know all about our finances , that story is posted below, and they want our activity monitored because of
" covid"and because of "covid", whether or not you get medical care .. This is what dictatorships do.

Democrats are genetically incapable of understanding unintended consequences. They have no understanding of how businesses operate. No understanding of supply lines, no understanding of economics. Well .... no understanding of anything of significance. They do believe that bumper sticker slogans and vilification makes good policy.
Every democrat "fix" results in a dozen new problems.

Sure thing. When prices are through the roof ... shorten the supply. Meat prices can't possibly go up when there's no meat. Ask the Soviets how well that worked over there.

If you feel that way, you should have never let Swift sell the entire industry down the river to China. Check it out; they didn't even hide it at the time.

Don't forget that Smithfield is owned by the Chinese. Additionally, they are busy buying farmland in the US.

Biden and his handlers aren't trying to reduce food prices. They are simply trying to destroy the food industry from the top down. Their are a lot few people to destroy at the top enabling destruction of the whole industry. If you watch, and most here do, they are using the same tactic against the energy industry, drug industry, and health supplements industry.

There is nobody on the list of people Biden is not cracking down on. Everyone has to be punished and coerced. I should have excepted Democrats, who can burn and pillage all they want.

Last year we saw the shelves that held paper products empty for weeks. It was frustrating. Just wait until the meat aisle is empty for prolonged periods. Right now it's expensive but we can pick and choose and use the old "meal stretching" recipes where needed. When its gets regulated, how far is that from government rationing?
My husband works with several Venezuelan's who are really scared. They say that what has been happening since Biden has been in office is exactly the way it went down and led to total collapse.
I can't believe how fast we are falling.

##15, the destruction can be stopped, cold. But about 15+ million citizens would have to have the guts and be in physical shape to plant every last leftard/commie six feet under. As 'lone wolves'. It's the only way to be sure.

It has only been sporadic but I have started to notice empty shelf space at Publix. Their supply lines are being interrupted. Another gift from the left. Grrrrrr….
