Joe Biden is a wild animal that can not be tamed, or at least that’s the perception White House staffers are sharing. According to Politico, some of them have gotten into the habit of muting or even turning off the president when he’s speaking because they are so anxious that he’ll go off-script, begin taking questions, or otherwise And while this is being spun as a concern that he’ll simply end up off message, I think we all know what that really means. I suppose this is part of working for a president who is in steep mental decline, and Biden shows no signs of slowing down. The concern about messaging

The front page of Wednesday’s New York Times warned “Big Business Mobilizing to Battle Tax Proposals.” The text box fretted: “Democrats’ Ambitions for Social Spending Are on the Line.” Trillions of dollars of new spending, in fact, as well as tax hikes on “the rich.” Reporters Jonathan Weisman, Alan Rappeport, and Jim Tankersley clearly took the side of President Biden and liberal big-spending Democrats.
Congressional Democrats always knew their battle plan for raising taxes on corporations, large inheritances and the superwealthy would not survive initial contact with the enemy.
They just didn’t realize that enemy would be North Dakota-nice Heidi Heitkamp.

Las Vegas attorney Richard Dreitzer said employers can’t force their employees, but they could fire them.
“If an employee refuses, an employer is within their rights, I believe, to say well then I’m gonna let you go,” Dreitzer said. Washington — President Joe Biden on Thursday is announcing sweeping new federal vaccine requirements affecting as many as 100 million Americans in an all-out effort to increase COVID-19 vaccinations and curb the surging delta variant that is killing thousands each week and jeopardizing the nation’s economic recovery.
The expansive rules mandate that all employers with more than 100 workers require them to be vaccinated or test for the virus weekly, affecting about 80 million Americans. And the roughly 17 million workers at health facilities that receive federal Medicare or Medicaid also will have to be fully vaccinated.
The Justice Department is suing Texas over a new state law that bans most abortions, arguing that it was enacted "in open defiance of the Constitution."
The lawsuit, filed Thursday in federal court in Texas, asks a federal judge to declare that the law is invalid, "to enjoin its enforcement, and to protect the rights that Texas has violated."
The Texas law, known as SB8, prohibits abortions once medical professionals can detect cardiac activity -- usually around six weeks before some women know they're pregnant. Courts have blocked other states from imposing similar restrictions, but Texas' law differs significantly because it leaves enforcement to private citizens
It’s another botch for the Biden administration! The White House announced today that it is pulling its nomination of David Chipman to be ATF head. Chipman is currently senior policy advisor to Giffords, an anti-gun rights group who faced allegations of racism.
The question is will the networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) report on yet another Biden failure or will they quietly brush this fiasco under the rug?
Chipman’s nomination was pulled after it was clear he wasn’t going to get enough Dem votes with West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin and Montana’s Joe Manchin refusing to give him the nod.
