Dan McWilliams made a spur-of-the-moment decision. That morning, hijackers crashed two planes into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in lower Manhattan. By half past ten, both skyscrapers had collapsed. Fires burned and toxic ash choked the air in New York’s Financial District. Nobody yet knew how many people had died—save that the number would be “more than any of us can bear,” as Mayor Rudy Giuliani told reporters that afternoon. McWilliams, a firefighter with Brooklyn’s Ladder 157, was walking past the North Cove marina, just a block from where the towers once stood, when he spotted an American flag on a yacht. At the twentieth-year memorial 9/11 service, I suggest our President drop his trousers and openly d#f#cat# on Ground Zero; after all, it's exactly what he has done figuratively since taking office. Yes, I'm bitter, resentful and full of hate. Aren't you?

How long until liberal try and blame white supremacist's for the towers being brought down, if you read carefully between the lines you'll notice in the last few years they've been trying to blame the Kennedy assassination on 'right wingers' because that's where the initial threat came from. You'll never hear them blame a communist.

I think "shades of gray" refers to the gray cast to all of the debris shown in the other photos when contrasted to the one that was published world wide. Taken in that context, there's nothing at all negative about it.

It took a mere 20 years for the US Government to go over to the other side, the world of terrorists, murder and destruction of freedom. Prepare for more of this in the near future.

#6 - Yes, on the surface. But, #5 sees the propaganda value underlying this article. The two "shades of gray" (a pop reference to smutty pornography) photographs are obviously inferior to the iconic photo known around the world. It does not shy away from showing the destruction. In fact, it is within the context of that destruction that the faces of the firefighters finding comfort and hope in our nation's flag speak to the heart of every patriot. It is that feeling that must now be downplayed and covered over in gray. The commies do not want us to remember that once we rose from the ashes, and we refuse to return. This 20th Anniversary of 9/11 should stiffen our resolve that our enemies, both foreign and domestic, will pay for their murder and treason.

Grim but necessary reminders of that terrible day. The brave three who hoisted the flag in the midst of the danger and chaos; the three whose incredible photos are displayed here. But, I can't help but wonder...if Franklin's photo was a Pulitzer 'finalist' what was the prize winner??

A case of measles has been identified at Fort McCoy Army Base in Wisconsin as thousands of Afghan refugees are housed there temporarily while they await resettlement in the United States. Fox News was able to view an internal government email on Sunday that confirms a case of measles at Fort McCoy. “All those who had been in contact with the infected person at base have been isolated, and post-exposure prophylaxis and inoculations are in process,” the email stated. Measles is highly contagious and is the primary killer of young children in Afghanistan. It is rampant among the population there.

A day after the U.S. officially pulled out of Afghanistan, and less than a week after a suicide bomber killed 13 U.S. Service Members, Rep. Carlos Gimenez has just tweeted that Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) has blocked the names of those dead servicemen and women from being read on the floor of the House of Representatives. Rep. Dozens of others soon complained on Twitter that the Duchess of Sussex’s book, “The Bench,” didn’t only share a similar title to UK author Averiss’ 2018 book — but also similar artwork from Christian Robinson.

In fact, Cooper scored the smallest audience of any guest host in the show’s history. That is nothing compared to the whirlwind created by Representative Cheney’s announcement that she would be voting to impeach President Trump, and her subsequent follow-through of doing just that. There has not been a time during our tenure when we have seen this type of an outcry from our fellow Republicans, with the anger and frustration being palpable in the comments we have received. Our telephone has not stopped ringing, our email is filling up, and our website has seen more traffic than at any previous time.

In late 2008, during the transition from George W. Bush to Barack Obama, there was a mantra that took hold among Washington insiders: Obama won the election but Hillary won the transition. The most loyal denizens of the Obama campaign — the people who were with him from Springfield to Grant Park — watched with deep trepidation as the Obama administration was staffed at the highest levels with the same Clintonites — including Hillary herself — they thought they had vanquished in the Democratic primaries the previous summer.

Last Sunday, in my article "'Lost votes are fraud votes," I looked at the "lost votes" for the 2020 presidential election listed in Internet blogger "Pede's" analysis, and I described how, after adjusting for the thrown-away votes, Trump won Pennsylvania and will win (after the recount) Georgia, while Biden likely won Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin, and possibly Arizona. But there's still something missing. "Pede's" data search exposed votes switched from Trump to Biden, and "votes lost" (mostly Trump votes thrown away); but there is a third category that escapes this type of data scanning: "votes added."
