If you’re the type of person who boasts “gender pronouns” in your social media profiles and trust big-government bureaucrats to run your life, chances are high you are among the enraged zealots who’ve been throwing a hissy fit this weekend.
For it was early this weekend on Friday that thousands of young men and women gathered tightly at the Virginia Tech’s Lane Stadium for the Hokies’ opening game and jumped in unison as the classic Metallica song “Enter Sandman” was played.

Good for them, as long as they're not taking a knee for any stupid reason.

I’m curious if that chick doctor, furious over the WuFlu, holding the dog is a veterinarian like Lauren Boebart’s veterinarian opponent who also claims to toil in the WuFlu hospital wards.

Why did Indiana take the field after the National Anthem at Kinnick? Oh well we kicked their Woke butts back home! A bad beat down by “America’s Team”. Go Hawks!

Didn't watch, college is becoming as 'woke' as the pros. Plus we have a lot of clean up down here in S Louisiana after Ida, now that we're getting power back.

What also occurred during this game - not mentioned by the press - was that the crowd erupted several times chanting F@#* Joe B....!!! And how people roared and got charged up -- what a game it was!!! (You'll find this in internet searches!)

74,000+ at the Georgia - Clemson game last night. Didn't see a single person wearing a face diaper!

I thought it was great to see all those thousands of cheering fans in the stands.

The Virginia Tech game was a giant maskless party! It probably made Fauci crawl under his bed.

Just think if this virus had been allowed to go along it's way like most virus's do. Just think if infected seniors hadn't been put in seniors homes, that's half the deaths right there. Think it happened in about 5 States. Just think if all this hadn't happened, kids biggest medical problems that are anxieties due to fauci and the dems wouldn't have happened. Just think of all the people who would be alive today if fauci and the dems hadn't closed all the businesses, some owners committing suicide because they felt they had nothing left. Just think that the disadvantaged children wouldn't be further behind in school. Fauci and the dems have certainly messed everything up. Just think of the soldiers who would be alive today and the afghani citizens who would be alive today if biden hadn't stolen the the election. A whole lot of "just thinks". So very sad. He's not finished yet destroying this country.

I’d like to see some side by side photos of those college stadium crowds alongside NFL crowds.

The Covid cowards in the media will be crying about these games being super spreader events. What will happen to their narrative if this does not happen? While students at Amherst are forced to double mask and be prisoners in their dorms, non PC colleges go on with life.

Chose not to go to the LSU-UCLA game because masks are mandated in any LA County outdoor event exceeding 10,000 people. Think about that: 10,001 people in the 92,500-seat Rose Bowl and masks are required; 9,999 in the 17,500-seat Hollywood Bowl - no masks. Anyway, it looks like 99% of those in attendance (and probably 100% of the LSU contingent in attendance) blew off the rule. Good for them.
The only down side to the weekend was the realization that some college athletes are now getting lots of money for merely playing their sport. The Alabama game was ruined when the play-by-play talk turned to the $800,000 in endorsements that QB Bryce Young has under contract and the fact that he's turned down that much and maybe more. The college game will soon be like the pros, where some players have more concern about establishing and marketing their brand than for their teammates.

But you wouldn't hear crickets from the fearmongers if this was a BLM protest.

I attended the U of Wyoming opener in Laramie. Pregame barbecue presented by Ag School was outstanding. Gorgeous day, 27,000 people. Did not see many masks. Liberals vastly outnumbered in that crowd. Go Pokes!

Obama and Pelosi don't wear masks, so why should the rest of us?
