Larry Elder pledges US Senate ‘earthquake’
if he wins California recall

California’s Sept. 14 recall election could shift the balance of the US Senate.Larry Elder, the Republican best positioned to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom, would have the sole power to name a replacement for 88-year-old Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein in the evenly divided body — and hinted he might do just that.“God forbid Gov. Elder should replace Dianne Feinstein who nobody’s seen in weeks,” Elder — who leads the pack of potential replacements for Newsom — said Friday.Feinstein, a six-term senator from California, is the Senate’s oldest member. She has faced sharp criticism from fellow Democrats in recent months over her mental acuity —

A very good man, but he wouldn't have much of an impact in California, sadly. The public sector unions would destroy him. I know that I'm a broken record, but the only way to take back the country applies equally to California.

I'm puzzled why Larry Elder is wasting valuable time on an issue that is utterly irrelevant to removing Gavin Newsom. The recall was launched because of how the malign Newsom shut down the state hard and long. His message should be limited to that issue. If Newsom survives the recall I predict he will punish the state with more mask mandates, vaccine mandates and even another lock down. Replacing Feinstein with a Republican would be icing on the cake but that is not why people hoping to throw Gavin Newsom out signed the recall petition.

Newsom will probably survive. Especially in an all mail in ballot election. The unions will turn out enough manpower to go door to door and make sure every registered dem voter fills out his or her ballot.

When the man gets the governorship, he is not just going to sit on his backside. Fight the dems with their own tactics. Get busy hammer and tong getting this state back where it belongs and run those hippies out of there along with the ChiCom enablers.

#4 - The issue was first raised by Gruesome as a scare tactic for his idiot base. Elder was hitting back against his opponent...a very Trumpian thing to do. I truly believe Larry has a good chance, despite the mail-in ballots and legacy vote fraud. A recall is a very different animal than a general election where party and ideology play a role. A recall asks a direct question; should this specific person continue to hold office? The vote is an up or down on Governor Nuisance as a man and a leader. There are a legion of voters, almost half of the state, that have given up on voting because of the corruption in Sacramento and the plethora of phonies. This time they get to express their anger against the lockdowns, and mandates that were imposed on an already badly run state, by voting against the slimiest face of corruption that ever existed. When Larry wins he has one year before he stands for re-election. The only gubernatorial power he will have will be executive orders, which will be either ignored or slow-walked by the entrenched bureaucrats. However, he will have the power of the bully pulpit and I believe his last 30 years as the Sage of South Central has prepared him uniquely for this task. He will spend his first year educating Californians on the massive misgovernment and graft under decades of decadent Democrat control. Larry will be the epicenter of a political earthquake they will feel all the way to D.C. Elder for Governor! Make California Golden Again!

This recall will give Soros & Co. a chance to hone its election fraud techniques that worked so well in ridding Amerika of the odious Donald J. Trump.

Lots of Republicans running with Elder. Splitting the vote is a real posibility.

The US State Department has been accused of blocking dozens of Americans from fleeing Afghanistan after failing to tell the Taliban it had green-lighted charter flights. On Sunday, Reuters reported that the delay had been caused by Biden administration officials not telling Taliban leaders it had approved the departures of the chartered flights from an airport in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, 260 miles north of Afghan capital Kabul. An exasperated flight organizer hit out at the State Department over the fiasco, saying: 'They need to be held accountable for putting these people's lives in danger.'

SUNLAND PARK, New Mexico—When President Biden took office in January, his administration ordered an immediate halt on the construction of a 30-foot high border fence, leaving a gaping hole at one of the most vulnerable stretches of the US-Mexican border. The 20-foot gap in the frontier wall at Border Monument Three — one of the 276 original markers erected after the Mexican-American War in 1848 — was allowing thousands of smugglers and migrants to cross into the US with relative ease, Border Patrol agents told The Post last week.“The contractors just stopped,” said Richard Barragan, a Border Patrol agent in the El Paso Sector, pointing to the broken wall

President Joe Biden's sweeping liberal policy priorities already face a recalcitrant Senate. But he is increasingly finding his agenda at odds with another adversary: the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court's decision this week not to block Texas's "heartbeat" abortion ban is its latest ruling that undermines a liberal cause. The justices already lifted Biden's eviction moratorium, but it refused to roll back Arizona's election reforms. And the decisions push the Supreme Court back into the political spotlight before next year's midterm elections. If the Supreme Court overturns the landmark abortion case Roe. v Wade, it will be a tipping point for Biden and the institution as critics complain that the Republican-appointed majority

Labor Day was once the nation’s most blatantly political national holiday — created by the trade-union movement to celebrate the right of working people to bargain collectively and to stage strikes to press their demands. But no more, for good reason.Even before Congress created the federal holiday in 1894, New York hosted the nation’s first Labor Day parade as 10,000 workers took off from their jobs to march from City Hall to Union Square. As the movement grew, so did the parades and celebrations. How times have changed. Today, Labor Day is largely an occasion for sales, end-of-summer cookouts and back-to-school preparations. Why?

On Saturday, however, the MSNBC host’s personal Twitter account amplified a local tall tale about the drug Ivermectin, which has progressives throwing a tizzy over anecdotal cases that it may have helped some people recover from Covid. (Joe Rogan being the case in point.) Maddow took the local story and blew it up into a national one.

At this time last year, the Wuhan coronavirus was claiming around 1,000 American lives per day. It seemed to me that, absent a sudden and sharp decline in that number, Joe Biden would be our next president. It must have seemed that way to Biden and his top advisers, as well. During presidential debates that occurred a little less than a year ago, Biden ripped Trump for his handling of the pandemic. The death count was the centerpiece of this attack. So what’s the daily death count now, more than seven months into the Biden administration and with a majority of Americans vaccinated?

Occasionally, I receive nasty notes. My favorite are the hurry-up-and-die notes from lefties who hate white people. It is no secret that leftists believe they will be in power forever once white people no longer are a majority(snip) Which brings us to Professor Derek Hook. Emma Colton reported, "A professor employed at a Catholic university in Pennsylvania [Duquesne] said on camera that there are merits to the claim that it’s ethical for White people to commit suicide." Any college that would employ and continue to employ a professor who promotes suicide is not Catholic. Hook quoted a South African philosophy professor, Terblanche Delport, who said, "White people should commit suicide as an ethical act."

What's with the bizarre campaign against Ivermectin? It's not just that the FDA has put out a quackish tweet (shown here by AT contributor Dr. Brian Joondeph, M.D.) scolding viewers that they are not horses or cows. That's in reference to the fact that in some high-dose forms, ivermectin is used as a horse dewormer, begging the question about its effectiveness when it is dosed and formulated properly as a human medical treatment for COVID, prescribed off-label. The news reports repeatedly call ivermectin a dangerous drug, implying that all uses of the drug are dangerous, even when taken properly.
