The death toll from Hurricane Ida in the Northeast has risen to 46 across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Connecticut, with pictures from the region showing cars stranded on highways as bodies are found in flooded basement apartments. As the scale of the devastation is revealed in the Northeast, president Joe Biden will visit Louisiana on Friday to get a first-hand look at the destruction wrought by Ida that tore through the southern portion of the state and left 1 million people without power.Biden will take an aerial tour of hard hit communities, including Laffite, Grand Isle, Port Fourchon and Lafourche Parish, before meeting with local leaders

Comrade Xiden will travel to Louisiana unless it will cut into his ice cream and nap time, in which case people are just SOL. If they can get him sufficiently drugged up to be functional enough, anyway. I have seen a bunch of these stories starting with things like 'As the Earth warms'. Anything to continue to push the climate change cult.

Let's see now. Where Ida hit in Louisiana and Mississippi there were minimal deaths, but in the liberal north east 46 are dead from Ida's remnants. Just shows how stupid liberals are that they don't take measures to insure their safety.

So, the massive hurricane, which was the largest in 150 years, didn't do anywhere near as much damage to the Gulf area, as it has in the Northeast? And, the Northeast has had far more deaths too?

# 3 - I think the Cajun Nave goes in with any destructive storm. They're probably there already. I have a problem, tho. The pictures and stories from Ida hitting Louisiana just don't quite make it. I'm from Louisiana. We have had storm after storm. The pictures were real, the stories were real and most of the time electricity was restored within a week or 10 days at most. Debris was cleaned in a couple of week. Louisiana knows how to function after these storms. There is no reason for there to be so much devastation at this point. And why would the northeast not be warned? Can it be, I know this is way out there, can it be these storms are helped along with chemicals to make them as bad as possible. They are working on convincing us that we are responsible for climate change/global warming. Just wondering.

Planned Parenthood has secured a rare emergency temporary restraining order (TRO) in a suit against Texas Right to Life, fresh off the heels of the 5-4 Supreme Court decision not to block the new bill prohibiting abortion after six weeks. Judge Maya Guerra Gamble of the District Court in Travis County, Texas, approved Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas Surgical Health’s application for a TRO in the wake of the Supreme Court decision this week. Judge Gamble insists in the document that the plaintiffs, including doctors and staff, would face imminent lawsuits without the protection of the TRO while waiting to file a preliminary injunction:

The argument is all women have been conditioned from childhood to view any feelings they have towards men as attraction—with some authors even going so far as to say all females are actually lesbian by nature. Biden and the Pentagon have managed to birth a new terrorist haven, destroy much of U.S. strategic deterrence, and alienate our allies and much of the country. In the hours after the horrific deaths of 13 servicemen, we have been reassured by our military that our partnership with the Taliban to provide security for our flights was wise.
