On Friday, President Joe Biden appeared to respond to Senator Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) claims that he would not support a massive Democratic spending package, saying the government should have two priorities this month, with the main one framed as beating the coronavirus pandemic. “The second thing that has to happen in September is for the Congress, the House and Senate, to finish passing my economic agenda so that we can keep up the historic momentum we’ve been building,” Biden said. “It’s about investing in America’s future. Not about short-term stimulus.
Historic momentum. This really is like watching Baghdad Bob. Guess they want to overlook the dismal jobs report. The only things I see as historic is that Dementia Joe will go down as making Jimmy Carter look competent. Even with Valjar behind the curtain.

I'm surprised more democRATs aren't running for cover. If you're up for reelection in 2022 or 2024, your job is in jeopardy if you associate with the lunatic-in-chief & even if you're not just have D after your name could mean trouble.

Oh hush, you senile toad.

You're doing a fine job, Biden. (reference GWB to Brownie)
Just look, fewer people are wanting to get the vaccination, and only 250,000 jobs were added in August when Wall Street was expecting over 650,000.
You've presided over the worst withdraw from a military campaign in the nation's history.
Oh, and you don't have any plan to pay for any of it, or to shore-up Social Security, Medicare or any other program.

I would love to see Manchin switch parties and turn the Senate over to Republicans but that won't happen because Joe Manchin is actually a liberal (he is NO moderate) that represents a conservative state. He has to tread lightly.

Historic momentum, in the wrong direction.

Manchin has been playing this game for years. I doubt he has suddenly seen the light, and decided to become fiscally conservative. More likely, they simply haven't found his price yet.
He's got cover anyway, because Sinema continues to be a hard no for whatever reason she has. Maybe she is actually listening to her constituents; I don't know. What I do know is Manchin has been a snake his entire career, and I very much doubt he has really changed.

Three and a half trillion dollars will surely become bait for public corruption and the skimming off of a good amount on a grand scale as it is being doled out, mostly in the Democrat run States. The UniParty no doubt can’t wait to feed out of that bucket!

Manchin says he will refuse to vote for the bill "without greater clarity about why Congress chooses to ignore the serious effects of inflation and debt." So all he is asking for is "greater clarity," which I'm sure a deep state leftist operative, perhaps in the form of an FBI agent, will be happy to provide.

Like most of us here I have been angered and depressed witnessing the damage the Democrats have inflicted on our country, especially in the past few decades. This $3.5T abomination is one example.
But lately I've been seeing things a bit differently. Slowly, all the layers of the deceit of the Deep State have been peeling away. And the Deep State is the agency of the Democrat destruction. Tucker pointed out last night that in his first meeting with the Joint Chiefs, President Trump called them a bunch of losers. They have been doing nothing but lose wars for decades.
Trump also planned from early in his presidency to withdraw from Afghanistan. This would shut the spigot of endless stream of dollars to the military-industrial complex. In fact, Trump often lambasted the military-industrial complex.
In short, Trump outed the Deep State. We began to see, outright and plainly, that the military loathed him and began working to undermine him. The CIA and the FBI likewise. The Pentagon leaked "damaging" information. These are all supposed to be non-political institutions. But in deep cover, they have always been pulling the strings as a non-elected, secret government that acts in its own financial and power interests at the expense of the national good. The 20 year war in Afghanistan is one example.
How many of us even suspected a Deep State a few years ago? If we heard the term, we chuckled at the tin foil hats Now we see them plain as day. Their cover is blown, and they depended on remaining invisible, it was the sine qua non of their being.
We are at a crisis point that is filled with great possibilities. Now that they are identified, along with their attachment to Democrat lackeys, they can be rooted out.
It can start with the 2022 elections. RINOs must be driven from our government. We will need to wait to do so for some, like Lindsay Graham, but we can organise and see that they are primaried out. Then take the presidency in 2024. We will then have the power to utterly clean house.
How great can America be once we are rid of the parasitic Deep State? I'm filled with hope when I imagine it.
We think we have been witnessing the death of America. But what if we have been seeing a rebirth? Births are always painful and messy. But fresh new life emerges.

Well put, #12, but I believe the DS is still Skynet and The Empire rolled in to one, and is hard to beat. Books, articles, Tucker segments and witty comment sections aren't enough. Still waiting to see someone really fighting back.

Don't believe it. As Manchin does for years, he comes out as opposing a certain bill and then eventually caves and votes the party line. Schumer & Co will lop off a few billion here and there and good ole Joe will go along to get along. I often wonder if the Dems have blackmail information about Joe or family members. Take his opposition to the 3.5T bill with a grain of salt.

Sorry for a second post. #13, there is no question that the Deep State is entrenched and immensely powerful. And when I said that we are at a crisis point, I meant to imply that things could go one way or the other. If the Deep State wins-- remains in power-- America is on a fast track to third world status. No doubt about it. We will have a small group of elites living in splendour, and the masses living hand to mouth, as is true in most third world countries. That could very well be our fate. And will surely, unquestionably, be our fate is we just do nothing.
So when you say you are waiting to see someone fight back-- why are you waiting? Fight back. The first major opportunity to do so is just about a year away. If we just roll over and play dead we are sunk, no doubt about it. We face a big, well financed, powerful enemy.
Sort of like 1776.

THEY are the real heroes...

#11, right on! Trump was a transformational President and a great communicator. He uncovered the Deep State for all to see. America First is here to stay. We can fight back and will.

The only thing Joe is building is a mountain of debt and a huge population of parasites to be groomed into future democrats. The inner city welfare class, third world rejects and seventh century barbarians will give America a foundation of sand and mud. His rhetoric sounds very Obamaish

Thank you #14.
There is much we can do from our computers bunkers and in our communities. In the past, Republicans have always been reticent about being bombastic and bold. However President Trump changed things for so many of us. He's the leader who will turn this around. So much is going on underneath the surface. If you rely on the idiot tube for information, you are not getting the facts and the truth. Try the Victory Channel on your computer and go to the Shows tab and click on Flashpoint. This show has replaced a lot of Fox News for me. It's on twice a week. This is just one example.
Did you know that Glenn Beck with his Nazarene Foundation raised 30 millions dollars, found numerous aircraft from leading Christian ministries, and saved 5200 Christians living in Afghanistan. You won't hear about that on Network or even Cable. There are numerous people doing the same. I suspect Veteran Lt Col Marine Greg Kelly from Newsmax was not taking a vacation last week from his show on Newsmax. Many Veteran congressmen, like Senator Tom Cotton were also helping connect people they knew who were stranded with the right people on the ground with private teams rescuing Americans and Afghanis. Whatever the administration tells us is pure bunk. If you want to hear what's really going on, listen or watch The Blaze, with Glenn Beck and also watch War Room with Steve Bannon and get the signal not the noise.
The moronic Biden admin says there are less than 200 Americans left in Afghanistan. That's a fraction of who have been left behind. There are other areas like Kandahar with people who want to flee.
The number of Americans who want to change our present political situation is enormous and growing. Did anyone see the rally in Cullman AL last week with 50,000 attending in the rain.
Hang in there folks, we are going to win our country back.

After witnessing the Constitutional, foreign policy and economic wasteland that Dementia Joe and the Lefty Dems have created over the last 7 months, does ANYONE with two brain cells to integrate even CARE to try and sort through what his sociopathic agenda is?? At this point, "JUST SAY NO!"
Seems to me the wisest course for any thinking politician is to run AS RAPIDLY AS POSSIBLE in the opposite direction while you still have a career path, Bunkie.
