When the stink of slavery choked England and America, Christian leaders and laypeople spoke out and slavery was ultimately abolished in England and America. When the horrors of Nazi Socialism became evident in the 20th Century, Christians like Bonhoeffer in Nazi Germany resisted and spoke against Hitler. When the oppression of Communism became too great in Eastern Europe, leaders, including Pope John Paul II, spoke out and the Iron Curtain fell (snip) Where are the Christian leaders to call for an honest analysis of this very controversial election? To his great credit, Franklin Graham has questioned the outcome

“christian “ leaders , for the most part are making big bucks shifting American demographics by importing , housing ,transporting & maintaining illegal aliens . Those who would rule us can easily lure church people with $$$$ and the vanity appeal of doing “outreach “ . Borders , elections , nations be damned in their greed .. They will grovel to the false god $$$$ and the equally false government selected not elected .

most Christian seminary-taught pastors have not read the Bible they profess to teach. My Bible tells me that this world is under the influence of satan who leads the 8th beast of Revelation. That 8th beast is Islam. My Bible tells me that things are going to get a lot worse before the Lord returns. And the prosperity gospel is still a false gospel.

It is clear that the ultimate goal of democrats is to marginalize Christians in any way they can. Anyone who speaks out will be put through the left’s meat grinder. Many Christian pastors believe their calling is not a political one, but spiritual and that is their focus. However, I believe it is the person sitting in the pew who must speak out. I also know that if pushed, most pastors will not waiver. They will speak out.
While the persecution of churches is on the back burner for democrats at the moment, it will be moved quickly to the front when they believe they have sufficient control. The recent public display of control over the military is an indication that they are confident and can move on with their agenda. They will come down hard on pastors who preach the Gospel. They will be called out for not following the leftist dogma of inclusion. They will pay a price for speaking the truth based upon their religious beliefs. The ones who espouse democrat dogma will be fine. It is the churches that will hold to their Christian beliefs that will be the target of this tyrannical regime. Most pastors expect it and will not waiver. When democrats go after pastors, you know the end is nigh, and unfortunately, if we do not see a change in leadership, I do not believe it will be long before we see that happen. However, in times of persecution, the church always manages to thrive.
What the left does not understand is that the buildings and grounds are not the church, believers make up the church. Democrats may pull the tax exempt status, foreclose on property, they may even arrest pastors, they may pull down every Christian video or comment on the internet, but they will not defeat the church.

The Catholic Church, for the most part, is silent. Too many bishops are blinded by the heretical musings of Francis.

#1 said it well. Government contracts for “welfare” projects is how the Bolsheviks coopted the Russian Orthodox Church.

And there was a Christian sentiment out there that Donald Trump's tweets were mean. Some might reference it as "orange man bad" along with Trump was not being a very good Christian. Think back to 2016, Beth Moore was featured in one of the Christian tabloid magazines talking about her views on Donald Trump. She did not support him at all and was very vocal about it. I was thrust into a family conversation about how mean Donald Trump is with his tweets and it did not go well. I was not buying into it and the family conversation became strained.
I am at where #2 is. There are a lot of Christians, Pastor or not, who have not read the Bible from beginning to end. Quite sad as because most of the time they are leaning on their own understanding rather than God.

Churches have all drank from the poisoned well. My wife's Presbyterian Church was preaching about CRT and BLM. She has since joined a non-denominal Church where they preach about Christ, not about politics.

Well, the problem is that most Christians are dealing with the in-fighting or outright heresy within their ranks. The Catholics seem to be split over the current Pope and the church's "modern" doctrines and the Protestants are dealing with woke politics to the point that evangelical churches are hemorrhaging members (McClain Baptist Church in VA is a bellwether) and the Southern Baptist Convention is fighting an internal civil war. A majority of Jews seem to be self-hating leftists lining up to hate Israel. Episcopalians, Lutherans, and Presbyterians seem to be embracing the LGBTQ+ crowd.
The thing that seems to be missing all around is respect for God and his teachings.
But that's my $0.02 worth...

Christian leaders does not mean only liturgy leaders. The believers who are in politics ARE Christian leaders. As a Philippine cardinal said, politics is the vocation of the laity. They ARE speaking out. The reason they are not always doing it in the name of Christ is that by rights there are many faiths who are out there part of the self-government. And have a right to be there. It is a prudential judgment exactly what is the best way to do things. Anyway there are different vocations and politics and liturgy are different ones

The only thing I’ve read from Franklin Graham is a plea to get along and move along.

Most of the Christian churches, at the national level, were taken over by hard core leftist decades ago. They are totally inside on this whole Destroy America process.

Most church leaders are afraid of losing their tax exemptions for being political. Yes, money talks and oppressive liberal governments know how to use it against churches.

Yo, Ned. I guess you haven't been to church for quite a while, or maybe never. The clergy for the most part have become members of the Marxist regime. They preach the stuff from the pulpit now, and have been for decades. They just hide it in theological terms and throw in Jesus's name once in a while to throw you off. Franklin Graham, like his father, just uses the words of the Lord without brow beating you with the leftist propaganda hidden in speeches like so many other do.

To me, the Catholic church lost much of it's 'moral authority' with the communist priest Berrigan Brothers back in the Vietnam War days. It regained a lot of respect when John Paul II worked with President Reagan and Prime Minister Thatcher to weaken, then bring down the evil Soviet Union. Then John Pall II was forced into 'retirement' and the popes that have replaced him are useless or, like the present one, actively Evil. The Nail in the Coffin for me was when the Pervert priests began to be exposed. Any organization can find itself with a few bad apples, but instead of 'cleaning house' as it should, the Church protected these scum and moved them around, away from congregations that had figured out how bad they were, moving them to innocent, unknowing parishes where the Perverts continued to abuse young boys. And apparently not just one or two, but my understanding is that the number of perverts was in the hundreds, if not more. Preaching how bad us little guys were, we were all 'sinners' and had to 'atone for our sins'..... and these Perverts were the Bottom of the Barrel, the WORST of the WORST.
Nowadays, I understand that the 'Catholic Charities' organization is making hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions of dollars, every year, contracting with the leftist Federal government to distribute illegal aliens throughout Small Town America.
From what I can see, the Catholic Church, once the standard-bearer for proper, moral behavior, is thoroughly CORRUPT.
