A remarkable one in five President Joe Biden voters said they regret voting for the 78-year-old in the last presidential election, according to the latest Zogby poll released on Friday. The Zogby poll was taken before Kabul, Afghanistan, was conquered by the Taliban jihadist organization, and Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal turned deadly, killing 13 U.S. services members and injuring more. There was also 76 percent of the respondents who said “no” they do not regret their vote, and four percent said they were “unsure.” However, while the 20 percent do not specify if they would have voted for former President Donald Trump.

The U.S. military may work with the Taliban terrorist group in the future, the military’s top officer said Wednesday. Asked if the United States would coordinate with the Taliban against ISIS in the future, Gen. Mark Milley said that it was “possible.” “Going going forward, I would not want to make any predictions,” added Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. “I would tell you that we’re going to do everything that we can to make sure we remain focused on ISIS-K—understand that network and, at the time of our choosing in the future, hold them accountable for what they’ve done,” he said, referring to an ISIS affiliate that has claimed responsibility

The suicide attack that killed 170 people including 13 U.S. troops provides the crowning disgrace for President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and the military leadership going all the way up to Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. This disaster in Afghanistan is worse than Benghazi, worse than Jimmy Carter’s hostage crisis, because those were inept responses to an external situation. By contrast, this is a disaster that Biden and his inept team themselves created. I remember well how Carter’s hostage crisis ended. It ended on the very day that Ronald Reagan was inaugurated (snip) Reagan had pledged that he would take very strong action

According to the data provided by the U.S. State Department in the last few days, the total number of people evacuated from the Kabul airport was 122,000. Of those, 6,000 were American citizens (AmCits), and 116,000 were Afghan refugees. Today the State Department admits the “majority” of the qualified Afghan people who assisted the U.S. during operations in Afghanistan, Afghan Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) applicants, did not get evacuated. That admission begs the question: then who the heck are those 116,000 refugees?

The remnants of Hurricane Ida battered mid-Atlantic states on Wednesday, with powerful winds and torrential downpour causing major travel disruptions across the region and prompting a flash flood emergency to be issued in New York City for the first time. The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed at least one tornado and reports on social media showed homes reduced to rubble in Mullica Hill, a southern New Jersey county just outside of Philadelphia. At least two deaths from flash flooding were confirmed on Thursday morning in New Jersey’s Passaic city. Flooding was also confirmed at Newark Liberty International Airport as the storm moved into New York on Wednesday night.

After a battery of testing, my friend was diagnosed with pancreatitis. But it was easier for the hospital bureaucracy to register the admission as a COVID case. Let me explain. This patient had none of the classic symptoms of COVID: No shortness of breath, no fever, no chills, no congestion, no loss of sense of smell or taste, no neurological issues. The only COVID symptoms my friend had were nausea and fatigue, which could also be explained by the surgery. However, nearly three weeks earlier, a COVID test had come back positive.
Dems sweat Latino turnout in California recall 13 replies

With two weeks of early voting left before the California recall election, Democrats are tracking a worrisome sign for Gov. Gavin Newsom and the party at large — the governor’s relative weakness with Latinos. California is so solidly Democratic that it would take a near-total Democratic turnout collapse for Newsom to be recalled. But Latinos across the country shifted incrementally toward Donald Trump in 2020, with headline-grabbing defections from the Democratic Party in Florida and Texas in particular. Now, polls suggest this once reliable and fast-growing voting bloc for Democrats is softening on Newsom, even in this heavily Democratic state. It’s a reminder that Latino support for Democrats is not

Ivermectin, often used as a deworming agent in animals and sometimes for humans, is not approved to treat COVID-19 and has not been shown to work for that purpose. Poison control centers have recorded a five-fold increase in calls related to ivermectin, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

San Francisco is offering to pay people $300 a month - if they promise not to shoot each other. The 'woke' scheme to curb soaring violent crime is set to begin in October, offering gift cards as an incentive for prospective criminals to lay down their guns. Called the Dream Keeper Fellowship, the pilot program will kick off with 10 individuals who are deemed at high risk of committing a shooting or being shot, paying them $300 to act as 'public safety ambassadors.' Sweeteners could kick the monthly payments up to $500 if they meet certain benchmarks, such as seeking a job or maintaining parole appointments.

One of Texas’ largest abortion clinics rushed to perform “67 abortions in 17 hours” ahead of a deadline that would effectively ban most abortions in the state after six weeks — the time a fetal heartbeat can be detected. The Texas law behind the new restrictions went into effect at 12 a.m. Wednesday morning, apparently prompting numerous women in the state to quickly get abortions when they may have been waiting to do so.
