Telecommunications company Verizon has implemented a so-called “anti-racism” training for employees to help them decide whether they are “oppressed” or “oppressors” as they work to understand how racist the U.S. is, according to a whistleblower. The company has also been pushing employees to endorse a number of left-wing ideals, to include defunding law enforcement, according to investigative reporter Christopher Rufo. He said a Verizon whistleblower handed him a slew of documents regarding the “Race & Social Justice” initiative the company established last year.

I'm so glad I switched from Verizon. Now using Pure Talk and very happy with the service. Most of all saving more than a hundred dollars a month. The people should form a boy cot of these weak and feckless corporations. Remember how Jesse Jackson would go around to the large companies and shake them down and get them to agree with whatever they wanted. Why can't we do the same. We need to stand up to this fake and phony baloney they are spewing and indoctrinating their employees with.

Verizon is ruled by the old New York Telephone gang. They are all notoriously pandering pro-black (not in the good sense) since the old Ma Bell days.

#6; I think the old NY Tel people are long gone, replaced over the decades by the new Woke Gang, My experience in the old Bell system says that Ma Bell would never have put up with this shite. For people who have left VZ service: there are only a few carriers in the country. Most discount cell companies buy wholesale service from ATT or Verizon, just a different bill You can't win.

Seattle, WA – Violence caused by the sprawling homeless encampment near the King County Courthouse has become so extreme that the county sheriff has ordered much of her staff to work entirely from home. The King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) operates out of the courthouse building, which is located directly next to City Hall Park, KTTH reported. The park is the site of a massive homeless encampment that has essentially taken over the area. Community activists have complained that sweeps are inhumane, so the City of Seattle has thus far refused to disband the tent city, KTTV reported.

President Joe Biden received praise from an unlikely source on Tuesday: Ann Coulter. Biden had just concluded his address to the nation on the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, ending a war that had lasted 20 years. The president has been criticized for failing to anticipate the rapid crumbling of Afghan security forces in the face of the Taliban’s advance. That caused a chaotic scene at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, where the U.S. military hurried to evacuate more than 123,000 Americans and Afghans despite being surrounded by the Taliban and ISIS-K.

I ask this question for two reasons: I have seen enough videos and read about enough officer-civilian interactions to know that the act of subduing a lethal threat requires several rounds. If an intruder entered my home and threatened my wife and child, I would shoot until I was able to ensure the target was immobilized. As to the first statement, there are plenty of examples of police officers firing multiple shots at a suspected threat. In the past year, the American public has been thoroughly able to parse through the shootings of criminals like Breonna Taylor and Antonio Brown, to name just two examples.
