'Our elected leaders failed': Hundreds
of Afghan girls left behind in Kabul

Original Article

It is the stuff of horror, heartache and helplessness: Afghan girls who have devoted their entire lives to making melodies have not only been silenced amid the Taliban takeover—they have been barred from entering the US military-run airport in Kabul. Now, the clock has run out. “We had seven buses filled with world-renowned orchestra performers—280 girls all approved to go,” said Robert Stryk, a Washington fixer who has been coordinating private evacuation efforts in conjunction with former Navy SEAL and US Congressman Scott Taylor (R-Va.). “Our hearts are broken,” he added. “These young girls spent 17 hours on a hot bus with no food or water

Comments:

How much money do Washington fixers make importing refugees into the USA, a country that owes more money than can possibly be repaid, and that has insane homeless people and criminals crawling the streets of every city because we cannot afford to keep them incarcerated?

Not our problem. I am sorry but we simply do not need more refugees. We could import the entire county of Afghanistan and people would still be complaining we didn't do enough. It's bad enough we took in 120,000 of them already, and left a bunch of ours behind. We are drowning in the third-world now.

Unfortunately our DOJ is as corrupt as congress and our military. No one will be indicted because they are all Democrats. 50% of Republicans have no problem with our corrupt court system. The USA has been conquered by the communist traitors. There are almost 40 million Afghans in Afghanistan. So about 20 million or so Afghans are women and girls. You could say, based upon the history of the Taliban and the 7th century way they treat women and girls, that all Afghan women and girls are “vulnerable” Afghans who should be allowed into the USA as “refugees”. That will never happen, but it should be understood that the state of the current refugee laws is such that today every individual “refugee” once in the USA, gains the right to bring their entire foreign families into the USA to join them. Then once the extended family members are in the USA, they also gain the right to bring their additional extended foreign family members into the USA, with that “chain migration”cycle continuing on indefinitely, thus keeping the liberal Democrat aligned and run refugee resettlement organizations (NGOs) in business, that constitute an industry solely dependent on US State Department funding, funding that depends on how many “refugees” those resettlement organizations resettle throughout the USA, so as far as those resettlement organizations are concerned, the more “refugees” who are allowed into the USA the better. In those respects one hundred thousand “refugees” can easily turn into five hundred thousand “refugees”.

A Texas man may have been inspired by foreign terrorists when he murdered his Lyft driver, then opened fire inside a local police station, authorities said. Imran Ali Rasheed, 33, was fatally shot by cops in the lobby of the Plano Police Department on Sunday, after he killed 26-year-old driver Isabella Lewis and stole her car, according to officials. Rasheed, who’d previously been investigated by the FBI, left a note in Lewis’ car that led investigators to believe he was a follower of the “rhetoric” and “propaganda” of an unnamed terrorist organization, said Matthew DeSarno, special agent in charge of the FBI Dallas office.

Rep. Bruce Westerman of Arkansas, the top Republican on the House Natural Resources Committee, said Democratic leaders were putting the spending package above the interests of the country. Mr. Westerman made the argument in a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, and Natural Resources Committee Chairman Raúl Grijalva of Arizona. “America is facing crises both at home and abroad, yet Congress is nowhere to be found,” Mr. Westerman wrote.

The study, by the think-tank led by Tony Blair, argues that ‘road pricing’ is needed to replace the more than £30billion in revenue generated annually from motoring taxes. This would see drivers pay per mile or per minute for the amount of distance or time spent on the roads. The report, by the Tony Blair Institute For Global Change, urges ministers to reveal how they plan to replace current motoring taxes within a year, warning it may become ‘politically impossible’

I ask this question for two reasons: I have seen enough videos and read about enough officer-civilian interactions to know that the act of subduing a lethal threat requires several rounds. If an intruder entered my home and threatened my wife and child, I would shoot until I was able to ensure the target was immobilized. As to the first statement, there are plenty of examples of police officers firing multiple shots at a suspected threat.
