Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller announced Friday that he had been “relieved for cause” after he posted a video demanding accountability on Afghanistan.Scheller shared a Facebook post saying that, as of 14:30 on Friday, he had been relieved of duty — and he noted that he would have taken the same action if he were in the position of his superior officers. (Tweet) “To all my friends across the social networks. I have been relieved for cause based on a lack of trust and confidence as of 14:30 today,” Scheller began.“My chain of command is doing exactly what I would do… if I were in their shoes.
The biggest travesty here is that this true patriot had to throw his career away to stand by his convictions, because in the end it will be a completely futile gesture. Nothing will change, nobody cares, and no one responsible will pay a price.

A great, courageous soldier. He put it all in the line for what he believed in. I hope he can find a way to support his family.

Man, the Chain Of Command can move really fast when someone shines a spotlight on their hypocrisy.
The the troop in the field need reinforcements - not so much.

He’s a brave man, but he knew damn well what would happen if he went outside the chain of command while these people were in charge. I hate to see a Marine of his caliber go down in flames like this; capable battalion commanders are hard to find.

This incredible Marine laid it all down for his country. Scheller understands that to right this ship of state is going to take many doing similarly to what he did. I pray more start doing it - soon.
He joins formerly very well-known physicians and scientists who have lost jobs, book deals, family relationships and lots of money to expose government lies about viruses and vaccines. In the end, they too decided it is all about doing the right thing.
I have no doubt God will see to it this man is not just employed but well-employed in the future.

A real American and a patriot. That's how it used to be in the past with the majority of Americans. America is broken and contaminated. It needs to be sanitized thoroughly and sealed with complete compliance with the rule(constitution) of the land.

He could have been sent to a desk job in Alaska. I should expect he will ultimately testify before the House Armed Services Committee. His command will also be called. The American people will sort it out. In due course, both he and his command will have made career limiting decisions. But he may end up as an analyst on Fox News. They will retire to some comfortable residences someplace like Coronado Island. Too many (but certainly not all) don’t get to the top without kissing butt and—well you know what—down.

In a normal sane world, his release would be the right thing to do. However, we are in a time of lawlessness, and the chain of command that relieved him are themselves derelict. They should be the ones being relieved, or they should be the ones pushing back. We know they didn't relieve him because he's making them look bad for keeping their traps shut. That said, he's a brave Marine (not soldier), and we hope his actions will spur others to act. The entire USMC should be taking up arms against the highest leadership at the senseless loss of their own; that's my opinion.

Recall the stuttering interview/questions with Austin the day of the attack. You didn't see this pile of dog pooh any longer that day. Nor the Milley clown. In an aside, Glenn Beck was yesterday on Tucker and he told him that he could not divulge his whereabouts because the WH and the State Dreck Dept. were calling the countries where he was trying to deliver 5,000 Christians that he had rescued from Afghanistan. State and the WH asked that these countries should not allow landing permission to Beck's plane. The WH and State botched up everything in Afghanistan but when a Marine speaks truth to power these overweight medaled corrupt desk jockey generals get annoyed. But of course. The marine wants answers and not the pack of lies they dish to us every day. Beck wants to save these Christians. That's of course a truly despicable act. Suddenly these trashy 'superiors' are acting with lightning speed. Odd isn't it? I forgot those 2 general punks are probably busy with race theories. In case of Idi Amin who made the troops stand down for a bit when he came into his new job, These filth bags are no General Eisenhower!

A good man is relieved by idiot and incompetents. Sad times.
One of my three USMC relatives is now out, and home safe and sound. That leaves two under the thumbs of these incompetent fools who are in charge. That worries me all the time.

He's 100% correct in his view but also completely out of line in expressing it to the general public. Must have known that he'd be falling on his sword but willing to do just that in order to say what needs to be said about the state of affairs among military leadership in the last 8 months.

Don't forget Pres. Calvin Coolidge had Gen. Billy Mitchell Court Martialed for speaking truth to power after a horrific Navy airship accident. Gen. Mitchell is still remembered long after Coolidge was forgotten.

This is the same mettle that compels warriors to charge into a hail of fire and bullets when called upon, and they go knowing their fate may be sealed. Good sir, there are many who are ever grateful for your service - more than we can express. And also for your final return salvo. I hope it reverberates far and loud. As for your being released from duty, I imagine the pain of separation is deep and soiled with betrayal, if not from your immediate supervisors, then certainly from theirs. I pray you find peace and rewards far greater than stars and bars for your lapel.

Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller went vocal outside the chain of command. He told the truth about the fubar planning for the withdrawal. But unlike Lt. Col. Vindman he did not go after the Orange Bad Man. As such he does not get the blessing of the MIC and his commanding officers, nor the MSM.

Isn't this a little strange??
Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller gets immediately relieved of duty because he went outside the chain of command.
Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman gets a promotion when he goes outside the chain of command in the impeachment of Donald Trump.
Is America a great country or what.............

Truth is a sin and preaching "equity" and trans/gay inclusion has been elevated to gospel status. God help the committed and brave members of our military who are trying to slog through the Biden years. Everyone needs to keep them in our prayers.

Any of you RINO's in DC paying attention? This, sadly, is how it's done. You do not stand idly by and ignore your oath, it is a serious thing.

Both Milley and Austin should be courtmartialed. As I remembered Joe's speech on Friday, these two clowns gave Joe the go ahead for this insane mission and approved the evacuation plan.

Interesting. Knowing the military code about these things . . . Lt. Col Scheller stuck his neck out, put it all on the line as a true patriot and he is a true patriot. Lt. Col. Vindman was "glorified" for what he did, the lying bastid. What about Gen. Milley, criticizing Trump about the President's "so-called" photo op while walking the Lafayette Square? By the same code's logic, Milley should have been, and still should be cashiered out! I agree with the military's code, however it needs to be applied equally . . . Generals and Privates and those in between. The Democrats are in and he is one of their heros.
