President Joe Biden tacitly admitted Thursday that some Americans in Afghanistan would remain in the country even after troops were withdrawn on August 31. “We will continue, after our troops are withdrawn, to find means by which we find any American who wishes to get out of Afghanistan,” Biden said. The president said his military commanders told him the mission to get Americans and Afghan allies out of Afghanistan by the deadline would succeed. But Biden defined the mission as “to get as many people out as we can within the time frame that’s allotted” — not staying until every American is evacuated. I want everyone to imagine that Hunter in a crack filled binge somehow winds up in Afghanistan behind Taliban lines. How many people would Joe order outta the airport to get him? What ransom(with our $$$)would he pay? How many lives would he sacrifice? But these are just Americans so Joe just says FO! There are really no words.

Andrew Cuomo's ignorance resulted in the deaths of thousands of residents in retirement homes, but his physician advisors did not then fully understand the COVID-19 dangers to Seniors. It was grievous but perhaps understandable negligence. But Cuomo's mistake was far less disasterious than the inexcusable ignorance by the U.S. military officers who gave the Taliban a list of the names and other information regarding U.S. citizens in Afghanistan and the tens of thousands of Afghans, such as translators, who were paid money to assist the U.S. government to fight the terrorists in Afghanistan during the past 20 years. As a result these U.S. military officers have facilitated three terrorists groups to hunt down, arrest, torture and assignate these tens of thousands of Afghans. There's no dount the Taliban has already shared (or will soon share) this deadly information with ISIS-K and Al-Qaeda. Yesterday ISIS-K murdered 12 U.S. Marines, 1 Navy Corpsman, 60 Afghan civilians, and wounded scores more, some of whom may die in hospital as a result. At a minimum the distugusting U.S. military officers who gave such information to these terrorists need to court martialed and thereby be denied an "honorable discharge" and, as appropriate on a case-by-case basis, suffer additional punishments. However, it's probable the dispicable, feckless Bidan Administration will do no such things. None of this would have happened if Donald Trunp was Commander-in-Chief, including abandoning $83 billion dollars of 75,000 functional vehicles, more than 600,000 weapons (including heavy artillery), hundreds of aircraft, and the Bagram airport to these terrorists.

The names of the Americans who died in Thursday’s terrorist attack on the Kabul airport are starting to come in. In all, 13 Americans died — 11 Marines, 1 Navy corpsman, and 1 soldier. They are from all over America and of different backgrounds. One of the casualties is David Lee Espinoza, of Rio Bravo, Texas. He was a 20-year-old Marine. U.S. Marine Rylee McCollum‘s watch ended in the Kabul attacks. He was from Wyoming and was a father-to-be. Navy corpsman Maxton Soviak was among the casualties according to the New York Post. His sister wrote a heart-breaking note about her brother on social media:

If you are a commissioned officer, going public with your concerns about how the military or your particular service is going is an activity nearly guaranteed to provide you all the fun and entertainment you can reasonably handle. However, where integrity and forthrightness are given a place of honor in lesson plans and speeches, the reality is that at senior levels, you are expected to shut up and toe the command’s line. You deviate from that norm at your peril. If you disagree with racism being inculcated into the military, and you hold a command position, you don’t have the ability to voice any concerns

After months of supposed hiding, the Capitol Hill cop who shot unarmed pro-Trump protestor Ashli Babbitt at the Capitol, Lt. Michael Byrd has come out of the woodwork to talk about his shooting, in a softball interview with NBC's Lester Holt. Which is weird stuff, given that for months his identity had been concealed, by investigators, Congress, and other supposed watchdogs, on the grounds that revealing it to angry Trump supporters was too dangerous, and whose investigative conclusions excused him from accountability. Now he's come out -- telling Lester Holt of his great heroics. He doesn't even need to, having been exonerated repeatedly. The most likely reason is this lawsuit,

America's longest war is ending as it began, with the nation mourning the dead of a terrorist attack and an outraged President vowing to hunt down the culprits in Afghanistan. The bloody coda to a tortured 20 years -- the loss at least 170 people including 13 US service members in a blast outside Kabul's airport on Thursday -- exemplified the human tragedy and ultimate futility of a conflict that failed in its core purpose: purging Afghan soil of terrorism. In a cruel irony, the latest Americans to die perished in an attack conceived in the very same land

Even as suicide bombers attacked the Kabul airport on August 26—killing, at this writing, at least 12 U.S. servicemen and scores of civilians—visitors to the Al Jazeera website could read an interview with Khalil Ur-Rahman Haqqani, the Taliban official and U.S.-designated terrorist who is responsible for security in the Afghan capital. "If we can defeat superpowers, surely we can provide safety to the Afghan people," said Haqqani, whose guards brandish the helmets, night-vision goggles, small arms, and camouflage the Americans left behind. "All of those people who left this country, we will assure them of their safety," Haqqani went on. "You’re all welcome back in Afghanistan."

Biden’s affect was flat throughout the speech, except for a few moments when he read some tough-talk off the teleprompter. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued the moratorium earlier this month to cover counties with “high” or “substantial” coronavirus spread, which as of Wednesday included the vast majority of counties in the U.S. The order was issued after a previous nationwide moratorium instituted during the Trump administration expired on July 31. “It would be one thing if Congress had specifically authorized the action that the CDC has taken. But that has not happened,” the Court majority wrote in an unsigned opinion.

Former President Donald Trump’s Biden ad might be even more than it appears. Trump’s Save America PAC just released one of the most devastating and effective presidential political ads I’ve seen in more than 40 years of watching them. Maybe the defining feature of an effective political ad is one that captures the zeitgeist, while simultaneously painting either your candidate with the positive aspects of it or the other candidate with the negative. One of the most effective ads of all time was also one of the most disingenuous — and in the world of presidential election politics, that’s really saying something. I’m referring, of course, to Lyndon Johnson’s famous/infamous “Daisy” ad

One of the things that disgusted conservatives following news of the bloody terrorist attack in Kabul that killed twelve Marines and one Navy corpsman was the fact that Nancy Pelosi, during a public appearance in San Francisco, not only didn’t mention, she was also in an exceptionally jovial, joking mood. My bet is that this wasn’t mere callousness on her part. (snip) I believe that the reason Pelosi is behaving in this way is to keep her base from realizing that something bad happened. It’s a form of gaslighting that involves her shaping their reality through lies, not to drive them crazy, but to keep them ignorant.

One of the most effective ways for the MSM to shut down an inquiry into misconduct is to say it is all a conspiracy theory. Besides avoiding an unwanted discussion, the charge also invites scrutiny of the "theorist" instead of the issue itself. Notice how quickly some even start off saying something like "I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but..." Expecting their reaction, we have become almost trained to do this. But are there really no big conspiracies? It has been claimed that the phrase "conspiracy theory" was invented by the government to discourage the questioning of official explanations for important events, especially the JFK assassination.

In a move no one can grasp, U.S. officials in Kabul gave the Taliban a list of names of American citizens, green card holders, and Afghan allies, believing the Taliban would allow them to enter the militant-controlled outer perimeter of the city’s airport. Lawmakers and military officials are outraged. The insane move was designed to expedite the evacuation of tens of thousands of people from Kabul by the August 31 deadline. It also came as the Biden administration began relying on the Taliban for security outside the airport. ISIS-K has since set up forces around the soon-to-be-renamed Hamid Karzai International Airport.
