The UK Government is now in a race against time to airlift nearly 2,000 Afghan interpreters and other staff who worked for Britain out of Kabul amid a growing backlash at Joe Biden over his decision to stick to his August 31 withdrawal deadline. The interpreters are understood to have been deemed eligible to come to the UK and have passed security checks but remain on the ground at Kabul airport. The Pentagon briefed this afternoon that there are currently 10,000 people in total waiting at the airport for a flight out of the capital. Mr Biden sparked fury yesterday by 'point blank' refusing G7 calls to push back

Being a civilian contractor in a war zone is not like you're on a weekend trip to Vegas or a week in a beach house on Martha's Vineyard. Blaming Americans for not leaving sooner is painting with an awful broad brush and is mostly BS, as many are in Afghanistan by invitation of our government and all that entails, although such blaming does seem to resonate with certain people who seldom leave their easy chair much less go on an excursion abroad that is dangerous by virtue of simply being there.

That is a terrible headline!!!! America certainly does NOT blame its citizens for not leaving earlier!!!!! Our terrible election stealing not-my-president and his horrible handlers blame everyone else for not-my-president Lyin' Joe biden's absolute incompetency in every step of this Afghanistan debacle!!!!! The buck on this disaster stops with biden and his handlers (since, realistically, he is far too senile to really have much to do with it other than being the face of disaster and reading whatever words his handlers give him to say). That is why he refused to take questions from reporters about this disaster!!!

Wait a minute. The Pentagon (or one of these lying entities - I can't remember) said two days ago that they were only letting Americans in now. Now they say there are still 10k on the airport grounds, but they supposedly flew out like 40,000 in the last two days. There are so many damned lies here from official sources that there is no way to know what is really going on. That has to be by design. No one is THIS incompetent, not even the Xiden regime.

It is long past time for us to elect a former military officer as President of the United States. Gen. Jack Keane would be perfect but he is 78. There are many others qualified, some in Congress. All the Dems seems to be able to nominate are girly men like Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Barak Obama, John Kerry and Joe Biden. There isn't a real man among them. The country needs a responsible man or woman with extensive military experience handling troops from any service. These are tough times for America and we need a leader.

Rachel Maddow is no stranger to fake news. On Saturday, however, the MSNBC host’s personal Twitter account amplified a local tall tale about the drug Ivermectin, which has progressives throwing a tizzy over anecdotal cases that it may have helped some people recover from Covid. (Joe Rogan being the case in point.) Maddow took the local story and blew it up into a national one.

It's not just that the FDA has put out a quackish tweet (shown here by AT contributor Dr. Brian Joondeph, M.D.) scolding viewers that they are not horses or cows. That's in reference to the fact that in some high-dose forms, ivermectin is used as a horse dewormer, begging the question about its effectiveness when it is dosed and formulated properly as a human medical treatment for COVID, prescribed off-label. The news reports repeatedly call ivermectin a dangerous drug, implying that all uses of the drug are dangerous, even when taken properly.

In the hours after the horrific deaths of 13 servicemen, we have been reassured by our military that our partnership with the Taliban to provide security for our flights was wise. We were told that the terrorist victors share similar goals to ours in a hasty American retreat from Kabul.  CORRECTION*
