Democratic-led House authorizes $3.5 trillion

The Democratic-led House on Tuesday authorized $3.5 trillion of spending in a party-line vote, as the national debt climbs to a record $29 trillion. The final vote was 220-212. Of the members voting, 96 lawmakers submitted proxy letters to allow them to cast their votes remotely under a system the House adopted at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. Using budget reconciliation allowed Democrats to bypass the filibuster in the Senate and push through the $3.5 trillion resolution without votes from Republicans in the 50-50 Senate. Democrats adopted the same strategy to pass the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act, which was the second largest stimulus bill in U.S. history.

Comments:

The nine 'moderate' Communists all caved in and whored themselves to Nanzi, as expected. She probably offered to not have their families whacked if they went along. So, tack on another 10 grand per person in Amerika.

# 2 - No. And from the looks of it, it never will. We are being invaded and the leaders are sitting in Washington facilitating this. It's almost like they think none of this will affect them or their families. It will.

Ever ponder how politically inept the National GOP is? In every national pole ever taken Conservatives outnumber Liberals by a wide margin. The vast majority of the States are Republican. On every issue we have the upper hand. Our opposition’s political geniuses pull Afghan style train wrecks on a daily basis. Their standard bearer is brain dead with a corrupt son. We pour in a lot more donations. But they still find ways to lose every time. Obamacare? Border wall? Anything? Ever?

And, I predict very little will be accomplished despite such massive spending. Just like what happened with the Obama "stimulus" spending where very little was achieved.

Buried in this pile of kickbacks, payoffs and bribes is this,............if your town accepts federal money your town gives up its control of its zoning laws. The federal government takes over control and can zone for multi family housing, section 8 housing in what was previously zoned for one family housing. The point is to kill the suburbs.

But, we just read that the centrists were revolting against Plantation Madame Nancy. And, look at that fancy proxy remote voting. If they can do it once, they can do it for every vote. Take your butts home and stop costing the taxpayers all this freakin' money to destroy our country. Yeah, I'm mad, but what in the world can I do? They're laughing at US.

Kamala Harris discussed Christmas shopping and climate change but failed to mention the current crisis in Afghanistan during her major foreign policy speech on Monday. Harris, addressing a roundtable of business leaders before her speech, warned that climate change and the pandemic have contributed to supply chain issues, The New York Times reported, and suggested parents should consider getting Christmas presents now. 'The stories that we are now hearing about the caution that if you want to have Christmas toys for your children, it might now be might be the time to start buying them, because the delay may be many, many months,' she said.

Roughly 3,800 Americans have been evacuated from Afghanistan since July 29, with an estimated 8,000 remaining in the country, an official with direct knowledge of the situation told the Daily Caller on Tuesday. The official told the Caller that it seems “doubtful we are going to bring in 8,000 more Americans” between now and the Aug. 31 deadline. The number has been masked by the White House and Pentagon in recent days, with Pentagon press secretary John Kirby saying Monday that “several thousand” Americans have been evacuated from Afghanistan.

Dr. Anthony Fauci has admitted making his latest mistake in coronavirus guidance, this time over when he thinks the pandemic will come “under control” — apologizing by saying, “My bad.” The White House coronavirus czar had told NPR on Monday that if enough people get vaccinated, the US could “really get some good control over this” by the fall or winter of next year. But quizzed on it by CNN’s Anderson Cooper later the same day, Fauci — who has been under fire repeatedly for flip-flopping on his public advice from the early days of the pandemic — said he actually thinks that control will come even sooner.

An Aug. 18 email from Col. Teague Pastel, a commanding officer at the Marine Barracks in Washington, D.C., told colleagues that although "vaccines are still voluntary," the military believes "they will become mandatory in the near future." The penalties for refusing the coronavirus vaccination, Pastel wrote, should be in line with others for insubordination. Those penalties include "administration separation," a demerit in the Marine's personal file, as well as the forfeiture of various retirement and financial benefits.

The two-dose immunization was initially the first to receive emergency use authorization in December of 2020. The Biden administration, local governments, and some employers hope that the full approval means Americans who have, until now, been skeptical about receiving an unauthorized jab, will have their fears reduced and opt to receive the inoculation. The full approval is expected to lead to more businesses and institutions requiring vaccinations for employees and students.
