A New York judge ordered a defendant to get the COVID-19 vaccine as part of his plea deal, while another made it part of a drug dealing suspect's bail terms, unusual moves that legal observers say raise serious questions about the line between civil liberty and the law. Recently, in a rare move, Manhattan judge Jed Rakoff granted the release of a woman accused of drug dealing on the condition she get vaccinated. Judge Rakoff argued that he did not feel comfortable granting bail to a defendant who posed a danger to the public.(Snip)Another order came from Bronx judge Jeffrey Zimmerman who made vaccination part

Complete overreach of authority by these robed cksuckers. I understand what they are trying to do here - they are attempting to force our hand, and make us all into instant terrorists so they can J6 us. Do not take the bait. Resist in every way possible, but do not lash out and give them the opportunity. Bide your time.

Employers can require employees to be vaccinated or be fired... Judges are Federal Employees. Soon as their employer requires them and they bow to the dictate, we will talk.

We are reaching a breaking/turning point in this nation and in nations around the world where the experiment in individual liberty is under attack. We are being worked backwards toward peonage, serfdom, and slavery. The question is will we submit or fight back? Given the social conditioning of the children of Western culture, I predict the former.

If they can force this guy to get a vaccine, what's next? Forced vasectomy for deadbeat fathers? Forced birth control or abortions for mothers with too many kids or on welfare who can't take care of them (both not bad ideas)? Why don't we force someone who hurt someone in a traffic accident to donate blood, or even a kidney or part of their liver. Maybe the judge could just make people take part in drug trials as a conditions of bail. People on bail can be the new guinea pigs for experimental drugs. They need "volunteers" anyway.

That judge is certainly no medical expert. How exactly will this shot prove he's putting others' interests first? It doesn't work, and it supposedly protects him, not others.

Excellent advice, # 1. Just came from a large protest in front of UNMC against mandatory vaccinations. Lots of healthcare workers, patriots and support from motorists passing by. It reminded me of the early Tea Party rallies. By far, the majority of people attending were young singles and young families. That gave me hope.

Fort Wayne, Ind.—With more employers requiring employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine, there may be employees who refuse. If this results into the company letting the worker go, will the person be eligible for unemployment? Samuel L. Bolinger, an attorney at the Law Office of Samuel L. Bolinger, told WANE 15’s Briana Brownlee, the answer is more than likely no. “The question is really, if the employer gives you a specific instruction or mandate to do and you decline and you are terminated for insubordination. Insubordination is one of the eight reasons you why you will not receive unemployment in the state of Indiana,” Bolinger said.

Legal experts and the American Civil Liberties Union have criticized a pair of New York judges for ordering defendants to get vaccinated if they want to make bail or be granted a plea deal. The ACLU slammed the decisions as 'troubling' and one lawyer even called the rulings 'nonsensical' and abuse of power that could be seen as grounds for the judges to be censured or suspended. The criticism comes after Manhattan judge Jed Rakoff granted the release of Elouisa Pimental, a woman accused of drug dealing, on the condition she get vaccinated.
