The Worst Part? The Democrats Can't Use

There is some speculation floating around social media (mostly, but not totally, from the right) that Democrats may try to pull the 25th Amendment card on Biden to push him aside and bring Kamala Harris forward in an effort to save face in this moment of geopolitical crisis. It is some of the same speculation you saw several times when the Left called for members of the Trump administration to turn on Trump and invoke the amendment. However, the Democrats have put themselves into such a terrible position that they absolutely cannot get rid of Biden through this means, or

Comments:

Harris would need 51 Senate votes to ride into the White House using the 25th. I'm sure at least 1 RINO would break ranks for her. But it does uncover an interesting quirk in the system.

There is a reason Joe Biden's cabinet is the least qualified and distinguished in recent history: Not one of them has the intelligence or stature to either initiate or resist any action unapproved by wire pullers. This is truly a Twenty-Fifth Amendment Cabinet.

In some other countries, a scandal of this magnitude would bring down the government itself. This one should bring Xiden's regime down, but our system does not make such a provision.

Number 1--------Even the Dems know how truly stupid Kamala is. Number 2--------She is black and a woman, and they cannot control her for that reason. Number 3--------There is not telling what she would do. Number 4--------If they make her President they lose the majority in the Senate. Number 5 ------The only way they could possibly get the 25th amendment to work is if a republican crossed over Number 6 -------That Republican would also have to vote for the new VP and give the democrats the majority ???? Is Liz Cheney, or Romney or Collins ready to sell out America??????

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but it seems to me: 1. We all know that Biden is receiving his orders from a control group likely consisting of Obama, Soros, Susan Rice, and ValJar. 2. This same group controls Kamala--she knows it and they know it. They got her elected, through voter fraud. 3. The control group cannot risk making Kamala President and replacing her with anything other than a true-blue, lying-cheating blue state democrat. Even Pierre Delecto couldn't be trusted not to spill the beans on the control group's influence and voter fraud actions. 4. Therefore, Biden has to stay as long as possible--at least until after the budget reconciliation bills are passed, where Kamala is the tie-breaker in the 50-50 Senate. 5. When the budget bills are passed, Biden can sign them and then be forced to resign on the recommendation of Jill, who will be tasked with persuading him to admit he is finished. 6. Then the appropriate true-blue, lying-cheating blue state democrat will be proposed, who won't rat out the control group, and who can receive a majority approval vote in Congress, likely including a fair share of RINOs, who don't care who sits in the Vice President's chair, so long as that person doesn't disrupt their swampy corrupt ways of enriching themselves while in Congress.

The current line of succession is Harris and then Pelosi. Neither Harris nor Pelosi is a desirable replacement. The only way to get somebody competent in to replace Biden is for Harris to resign or be removed for cause. Then Biden would have to pick somebody who is competent to replace her. After that the 25th Amendment could be used to remove Biden. I don't believe this is possible. Harris will not go quietly. Biden would resist picking somebody good. If nothing else, his wife would explain the 25th to him. And, I don't see any Democrat that is competent.

Speculation is fun but never forget the Me Me Me principle in DC. Nobody wants to be the button man or the spear catcher. Pelosi, Schumer et al would not permit the brand to be damaged so it would all be done behind closed doors. Even when Democrats resign in shame or because they're criminals, they claim it's for a noble purpose. If Joe were to go he would have to be promised a fortune and a good cover story. Jill would demand these as well. The media would certainly play along as they try to avoid a 2022 wipeout and maintain viability for Harris '24.

One thing Demonrats do in an unwinnable situation is simply cut and run, thereby dumping problems they created into the hands of the RINOs now in charge. Dems can then whine and scream from the sidelines about how badly Pubbies do at fixing the problems Dems create. At this point the Dems might even welcome the 2020 Election Audit findings as a way to divert attention from the mess 'Uncle Joe' Bidet has created.

Doha, Qatar — A protest against the Taliban takeover in eastern Afghanistan ended Thursday morning with a report of several people killed after the militants opened fire, sparking a stampede. The Islamic extremists have promised not to seek revenge and to rule over an "inclusive" country, but the public statements come as the group's militants show little tolerance for dissent or disorder, including at the U.S.-held airport vital to all evacuations from the country. The Islamist insurgents, who easily captured control of the country after a months-long campaign, seized huge amounts of weaponry, equipment and munitions from the Afghan armed forces, most of it supplied over the past two decades by Washington. TOKYO - The Russian Kalashnikov AK-47 and its derivatives have long been the assault rifle of choice for militant groups because of their rugged design, but some Taliban fighters are trading them in for captured U.S. guns as Afghanistan's government collapses. Video and pictures published by the Taliban on Twitter and elsewhere show fighters carrying M4 carbines and M16 rifles discarded by Afghan army units. The U.S. guns are more accurate and have greater range than the their AK-47s, but on their own may not deliver much added capability on the battlefield.

The pending report from special counsel John Durham, who was tasked with investigating the origins of the FBI’s Trump-Russia probe, should be released to the public, demanded Senate Republicans in a letter this week. More than 40 GOP senators, including Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), signed a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland asking that Durham, a former U.S. attorney, should be allowed to continue his investigation and his report released to the public. There have been questions about whether Durham’s investigation will lack funding past the end of the federal government’s fiscal year on Sept. 30.
