Coronavirus hospitalizations have matched the 2020 summer high in California’s Bay Area, despite the area re-imposing mask mandates — even among vaccinated individuals — this month.
ABC 7’s Bay Area COVID-19 Tracker shows the Bay Area’s case peak exceeding the figures seen in the summer of 2020, despite a year of mitigation measures and strategies, including the recent reimplementation of mask mandates.
According to the data, the Bay Area — which includes Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, and Sonoma — saw 2,484 daily coronavirus cases reported August 16, with the rolling average standing at 1.792/57 as of August 13.

As a cartoon I saw, underwear doesn't stop flatulence and masks don't stop viruses.

I have professional health care office and we HAVE been lax about facemasks on our patients. As people get vaxxed, they're believing that they can't get "the virus". "Both shots" went to "fully vaccinated" to "completely vaccinated" to "completely protected" as rationales for now not wearing face masks. I didn't have a problem, but now I have noticed that unmasked people tend to hang around my office longer when I want them to leave. So, starting next week, sadly, we're going to ask people to start wearing masks when they're in my office.

Is it possible that SOMEDAY everyone will realize what a lot of us have known for a year or more.....masks cannot prevent or even reduce the spread of this or any other virus.
I'll repeat it: Masks stop viruses in exactly the same way that chain link fences stop mosquitoes.

Mask didn't stop the 2nd or third surge. What cretin believed to the same failed activity would have a different result? Oh, that would be our goobernment. If at first you don't succeed, fail, fail again.

Nothing that has been tried is working. We need new leadership that tells the truth, and a completely new approach.

What exactly is the definition of a Covid case?
There isn't a valid test that can be done in bulk. So what exactly is the source of these numbers?

As Dan Bongino says, if masks work, why aren't they working?

Guess what that’s because malls don’t work. Facts: the Corona virus in 20-30 nanometers in diameter. Look it up. I found it on Britannica dot com. An N95 mask can only filter particles as small as 300 nanometers. I found that at the UCLA school of medical website. So do the math and get back to me. Also the Corona virus is an 8 sided sphere and looks nothing like the image of one out there that is red and black and white and looking like a naval WWII ocean mine. That image is a cartoon someone in marketing created to make it look scary and create fear in peoples minds. All of this is part of the massive psyops program being ran by the government to gain control and obedience of the masses.

You might as well wear a fish net over your face. This idiocy has not come to my area yet, but if it does, I will not comply.

Have you ever heard of a Covid patient who said, “I should have worn a mask?” No, because they virtually all wore masks.

Maybe the "experts" should have mandated weight loss and healthy eating in an effort to boost one's immune system.

How much of "the delta variant" is created from The Shot, all by itself? Starting to wonder.
