Donald Trump's secretary of state has strongly criticized the White House for their tactics in Afghanistan, saying that the country would not be falling to the Taliban if Trump was in charge.Mike Pompeo warned on Thursday night that the country was turning into 'a breeding ground' for future terror attacks weeks before the 20th anniversary of 9/11.'It looks at best naïve and at worst ignorant,' he said, of the chaotic withdrawal of U.S. forces.'Weakness begets war, and you see what weak leadership ultimately leads to.' By Thursday night, 12 provincial capitals had fallen to the Taliban and two thirds of the country was under their control.

It didn't take long for the Taliban to figure out that they're no longer dealing with the strong horse. With Biden they realize it's not even the weak horse. More like the dead horse. The fall of Afghanistan will be epic.

I wonder how George Bush feels about all of this especially since he supported Joe Biden. . .

Biden is humiliated on the world’s stage and democrats will spin it as a win. In the end, it will be President Trump’s fault. The media is throughly corrupt which makes it a perfect partner for the left. Truth has no meaning to either of them. What does matter is the narrative they can spin to justify anything they do or say.

America has shown repeatedly over the past 20 years that it is unable and truly unfit to handle any global responsibility. The majority of the world has no interest in the ideas of freedom and equality that America used to represent (and America no longer believes in these ideals either). We have only succeeded in killing 100's of thousands of people with the vast majority being collateral damage. We do this because we are told it keeps us safe. It does not. It has only taken away most of our freedoms and placed us in a police state. Yes, the world is a dangerous place filled with people (individually and in groups) who have no problems with killing others. Afghanistan is not our responsibility and if the people there are unable to stop the Taliban then too bad. Besides, here in this country, we have proven to be unable to stop BLM and Antifa riots, and unable to stop socialists and marxists imposing their ideas and policies.

We here predicted this back in the days after 11/3/20. Putin, Xi, Kim, Castro, the mullahs, et al, were rubbing their hands in glee over their newfound power against a senile, demented old pervert of a fool.
Pray, friends. It is the only thing that can help us now.

With a fraud buffoon as CIC, a general in charge with papers on CRT looking for bad white guys the moral must be awful.
While the left is defunding and dissolving police departments just complete it and defund the military. Send in social workers and psychiatrist keep our young patriotic people at home with all their limbs intact. Send Antifa or BLM marchers with fat green haired, angry, tattooed white women to feed the Taliban lion but not our patriotic youth. It's Saigon all over again the moment when the U.S. pushes the helicopters off the carrier decks to skirt on home. As the anniversary of 9-11 looms watch for another attack by Taliban 'movie critics' like Obama, Hillary Clinton along with Susan Rice claimed was the cause. Democrats are sickening.

Since nine of the terrorists on 9/11 were Saudi citizens, and none were from Afghanistan or Taliban, I always wondered why it was so important to go to Afghanistan in the first place. I'm tried of the half hearted lawyer driven way of fighting a war. Either go in full bore, or stay the hell out. In this case, there wasn't a single reason that help America's interest by invading Afghanistan. Let alone be there for twenty years.

Well, DM, I have to agree that Afghanistan has become "a breeding ground" for future terrorist attacks. It always has been. But, the breeding ground that is of high concern to me is the isis camp that is in Mexico just south of El Paso Texas. Jihadists have been training there for some time now. After they "graduate", all they have to do is walk across the border and carry out their missions here.

#11, we went in because that is where bin Laden was operating from at the time. I still believe that he died at Tora Bora. We should have bombed every terrorist enclave into oblivion - we knew where they were - and then left.

Does Mike Pompeo suggest how long we should maintain a garrison there, and how large it should be? What next Mike, a SURGE? One last one for old times sake? Like a bad relationship, it's over, done. Get American assets out and send a Kennedy as ambassador to bravely meet the new neighbors. The US embassy in Kabul is another $1 Billion dollar write-off.

Look “Pop” Biden was even against the US Navy SEALS being sent on the mission to capture or kill Osama bin Laden. Who was the Islamist leader who held the ultimate responsibility for the murders of over 3,000 Americans during the 9-11 attacks on America. So what would you expect from him and his leftist and socialist Democrat handlers?

Ah - for the good old days of World War 2 when we knew exactly who the enemy was. Funny thing - we invaded Afghanistan because of 9/11 and yet, and one argue about exactly how many Americans died because of COVIOD rather than with it, but it certainly was more than the almost 3000 on 9/11 and yet, no talk about invading China.... I guess we thought Afghanistan would be a piece of cake so off we went.

Democrats always want to reduce funding for defense. They pulled us out of Afghanistan so they could cut the defense budget and not have all the military deaths blamed on them. Watch defense spending decline and social spending/graft expenditures rise.
