As the Taliban closes in on the Afghan capital city of Kabul, sources have told Fox News that officials are destroying sensitive documents and equipment at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul. Fox News confirmed that officials are destroying sensitive documents and equipment at the U.S. embassy in Kabul. NPR noted that such documents and equipment included computers and phones. As the Taliban advanced, Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby pushed back against comparisons between the current situation in Afghanistan and the fall of Saigon in 1975.

Just one more travesty thanks to the left-wing A holes who have been running our country and their politically correct perfumed princes generals. Anyone surprised???

Bad managers get caught with their pants down. The Biden administration is a total disaster.

The Pentagon spokesclown can push back all he wants. The comparison to Saigon is directly on point.

Any predictions on when our embassy in Kabul gets overrun, sacked, and burned to the ground? Our forces are acting like that's what is exactly going to happen. Vote Democrat. Lose wars. This one was kind of inevitable though. The enemy won by default when we pulled out. The writing was on the wall years ago when we stopped viewing the Taliban as terrorists and started negotiating with them like they were a legitimate governing body.

Biden is getting caught not just with his pants down but also his Depends undergarments . . . while using the commode for a bad case of diarrhea. He's stuck in the restroom at the bus station whilst the bus is pulling away and halfway across town.

Why bother? We supplied the enemy with vehicles, weapons, ammunition an bases. Might as well supply them with an embassy complete with paperwork too.
We've been losing wars since Vietnam, and they get more and more humiliating each time. Might be better if we get out of the war business for a few lifetimes. We dont seem to do it very well.

I'm so old, I recall burka-wearing old ladies carefully piecing together carelessly shredded and not burned by the sophisticated and degreed Tehran embassy staff.

The last American to leave the embassy needs to leave nothing but a pile of rubble !

Seems appropriate to rename Kabul to Rubble.

When we left earlier we didn't take or destroy fighting vehicles, arms and ammunition...here's hoping they drop a daisy cutter on the embassy after they are all out...but knowing Slo Jo the Paedo it won't happen...

It's exactly like Saigon. We surrendered and those left behind died. Kirby is a fool but so are his bosses. The entire world is watching this latest mistake of the crash test dummy.

What sensitive documents involving a worthless country filled with Muslims living in 7th century conditions could there possibly be in the embassy.

Suggestion, BURN THE ENTIRE BUILDING WITH Phosphorous Grenades...of course you should throw the grenades from INSIDE...so you can be sure they go off properly...

If there is a silver lining it’s that the 9-11 “celebration” of leaving afcrapistan officially will be cancelled.

Since when did military standard operating procedure become news? Oh now I remember; it was when journalism died.

Between the equipment we are abandoning and what will be seized from the Afghan forces we supplied, the Taliban will be very well equipped.

Worse than Saigon, as we could have learned a lesson that time, and didn't.
