A Virginia teacher has dramatically resigned during a meeting of her scandal-hit school board after blasting its obsession with lessons on critical race theory. Laura Morris spoke before Loudoun County School Board in an emotional address, explaining why the 'equity trainings' and political dogma forced her to resign. She said she could no longer be part of an organization that told her 'white, Christian, able-bodied females' needed to be reined in.Morris, who has taught at Lucketts Elementary School in Leesburg, Virginia, for five years - half of her career - told the board:

A lot of money seems to be spreading around to democrats to keep the crt crap going. Suspects to include the CPP, Soros, and the little big tech freaks, among others.

If the unions spent as much time teaching our kids as they do being political activists, our kids would be the smartest kids on the planet.

Socialist/Marxist Democrats destroy everything they touch.
Now it is the school system.

It's been in the school systems since the late 70s, #3. They are just now going for broke because they see the finish line, and no longer need to play the game of incrementalism. They already have two generations of Americans that outwardly prefer communism to capitalism.

I lived in Leesburg twenty years ago. Then it was a small town in the middle of a rural area, and republicans were elected to leadership. In the past 20 years the political types, lobbyists, and liberal leaning association people swarmed like locusts on the area and made it a metro area. The swarm brought their political thinking with them and the area flipped to democrat.
Laura Morris should move to West Virginia (not the eastern panhandle part as it is seeing these swarms inflict themselves there) where teachers are in demand. Pay will not be as great at Loudoun County, but the overall quality of political life would certainly improve in that bright red state.

It's too bad that more teachers are not courageous enough to protest this crazy CRT .
Parents should keep their kids at home until this garbage is stopped.

I, for one, am proud of Laura Morris. At least there is one teacher who has come to their senses and is looking out for the welfare of our children and our future generations. It’s time to TAKE A STAND before it’s too late.

Good for her. Perhaps in the future she could establish her own private school with like-minded individuals. Starve the leftist beast - don’t send your children to public schools to be indoctrinated by the hateful left.

In other words, teachers must tow the Party line: the Communist Party.

Well, thanks to Republican Senator traitors voting for the infrastructure bill and universal pre-K education, they'll get your children even earlier to indoctrinate them.

On it's own CRT is a skimpily disguised apology for whites to adhere to and nothing else. Chief of the Military, General Milley, believes it's so deep he can't explain it while searching for white supremist in the military. It's the KKK in reverse and dangerously stupid. Schools shouldn't be a proving ground for CRT the teacher is correct.

I lived in Loudoun Country for 24 years before escaping to a red state when the county turned blue, but my daughter and her family still live there. They will never leave because her husband’s family has been in the same town where they live for 8 generations and there are 4 generations living there right now. Thankfully, their kids go to a Christian daycare/pre-school and they will be attending Christian elementary schools when they’re old enough. They are tri-racial - black, white, brown (Mexican) and I cannot imagine what being taught CRT would do to their psyches.
One correction for the DM who must not have consulted a map - Lucketts is not in Leesburg. It is its own tiny town, barely a crossroads with a traffic light, about 8 miles north of Leesburg.

What's sad is the school board probably did not want her anyway. They will probably replace her with a BLM activist. Schools are no longer a place for education. They are a place for indoctrination. We may have always indoctrinated our children, but at least they learned things that were useful and helpful for them. Now we just teach them hatred and guilt. This is child abuse.

Sorry #6, WV is not a "bright red state" "Rats still outnumber Republicans here. And only one county in the Eastern Panhandle ( Jefferson ) leans blue, with the others solidly Republican. It's the rest of the state that is solidly 'Rat. Charleston, Huntington etc. Old time WV votes conservative, but resists changing their party affiliation from the "Rat party. Joe Manchin is reelected by these types.
