The Washington Post criticized the Biden administration's handling of the southern border crisis Sunday and pushed for a coherent strategy to deal with the record number of migrants trying to enter the U.S. illegally. In an editorial, the Post predicted the "incoherence" of the Biden administration's policies could lead to Democrats losing control of the House and Senate in the 2022 midterm elections, and there was likely nothing in its current strategy that would change that outcome. "In its apparent desperation to fashion an immigration strategy that will impose order on increasingly out-of-control migration, the Biden administration has unleashed a torrent of words and goals untethered to specific policies

Comments:

It must be the End Times if even the Washington Post is criticizing Biden!

But - - the people running the Josef Stolen administration DO have a coherent strategy. It's to destroy the United States and make it a vassal state of communist China. And they're implementing that strategy very well - - thank to the clueless Pubbies and traitorous RINOs. Do not buy into the ruse that the Stolen administration is clumsy and incoherent. It is NOT - - they know exactly what they are doing.

I disagree. It's not "incoherent" at all. In fact, it's quite clear and purposeful, namely, to let in as many illegals as possible regardless of any attempts to stop them, and to continue to do so until they have a permanent Democrat voting majority in national elections, with or without vote cheating. That's pretty coherent.

I'm not hearing much about the border crisis in the main news media. So I'm betting most people don't know about the crisis. The media covers it up and the Dems win.

Like anything they could do between now and the next election will jar us out of our complacency that every outrageous thing they've done thus far has failed to do. We are allowing it! To be honest tho, I believe it is for lack of leadership and clear communication from those already elected. And the strongest leader we had - was effectively muscled out of the way. With help from those supposedly on our spectrum. Short of some counter revolution, I am not hopeful about the future of America.

"Incoherence"? Hmm. No, as usual, the WashComPost gets it completely wrong. The policy is perfectly coherent. The policy is that "the border is open, there are no restrictions at all on entry, diseased people are welcome, and we will deliver you where you want to go in the country for free". Perfectly coherent. But VERY, VERY wrong, and it is illegal, and it is not what people want. THAT is why there may be election losses for Dems.

not if Dominion Voting Systems has anything to say in the matter - if there isn't a repercussion of some sort every election will be a carbon copy of the 2020 election - remember what Josef Stalin said about voting: “The people who cast the votes decide nothing; the people who count the votes decide everything”

What strategy? Biden opened the gates and stopped construction of the wall to insult Donald Trump. The consequences of his childish actions are beyond his comprehension. One day he'll be asking Jill "What are all these brown people doing here?"

MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski dinged former President Barack Obama's star-studded 60th birthday party as "unbecoming" and a "terrible message" for Democrats on Monday. Obama's Martha's Vineyard birthday party – which was slightly "scaled back" due to coronavirus concerns but still had hundreds of guests – was late-night fodder for the likes of HBO's Bill Maher, but Brzezinski said it "does seem a bit unbecoming or out of step" with the delta variant causing a coronavirus case surge.

It might surprise you to know I support critical race theory. Or, to be more exact, I believe it’s critical to understand – maybe more so than at any other point in our shared history in the U.S. – that there is only one race, the human race. There is no White race, no Black race, no red race, no brown race, no yellow race, no mixed race. There is one critical human race. That’s not a theory, that’s a fact.

The city of Denver spends at least twice as much on homelessness per person as it does on K-12 public school students – and the spending crushes the veterans affairs budget in the state, a new study released Thursday found, according to a report. For comparison, the city reportedly spends between $41,679 and $104,201 on each person experiencing homelessness in a year while only $19,202 on each K-12 public school student over the same period of time. The amount spent on each homeless person in the area is comparable to the average income of area residents.

Democrats who advanced a bill in June to remove statues of white supremacists from the U.S. Capitol ignored a central fact about those figures: All of them had been icons of their party, from Andrew Jackson’s adamantly pro-slavery vice president, John C. Calhoun, to North Carolina Gov. Charles B. Aycock, an architect of the white-supremacist campaign of 1898 that ushered in the era of Jim Crow. At a time when governments, sports teams, schools and other bastions of American society are rushing to expunge legacies of slavery or racism, this was another instance of the Democratic Party’s failure to acknowledge that it did more than any other institution

As the fight over election reform heats up in Congress, the White House is ramping up the rhetoric, declaring that President Biden and Vice President Harris are “incensed by the anti-voter laws that are trampling on our constitutional principles.” It is a mantra repeated on an array of liberal news sites, but the coverage tends to be selective in what constitutional principles are being abridged. "Our constitutional principles" include state power over elections. While the president decries an “unprecedented attack on democracy,” the federalization of elections being pursued by Democrats actually would contravene what the Framers considered a core protection of democracy.
