Portland sees Antifa descend on Christian
worship event, clash with
Proud Boys in streets

Videos from Portland showed a crowd of demonstrators violently shut down an event where Christians gathered to pray on the waterfront – before another clash Saturday afternoon involved Antifascists and alleged Proud Boys members throwing projectiles at each other on a city street. Police officers did not intervene in either confrontation – besides a squad car sounding its siren just feet away. The first instance of violence happened Saturday at an open-air event planned at Tom McCall Waterfront Park near the Battleship Oregon Memorial to be hosted by Artur Pawlowski, a traveling preacher who’s been arrested in Canada for holding in-person worship services in violation of coronavirus restrictions.

Not possible. Antifa doesn't exist, besides it was mostly peaceful until those Proud Boys arrived (severe /s). Something...looking at YOU Portland...has to do something. Think it's not costing you? I just cancelled a planned train trip through, among other places, San Fran, Seattle and Portland. I just had it rescheduled to exclude those "Cities"..

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Francisco_Committee_of_Vigilance “ The San Francisco Committee of Vigilance was a vigilante group formed in 1851. The catalyst for its formation was the criminality of the Sydney Ducks gang.[1] It was revived in 1856 in response to rampant crime and corruption in the municipal government of San Francisco, California. The need for extralegal intervention was apparent with the explosive population growth following the discovery of gold in 1848. The small town of about 900 individuals grew to a booming city of over 20,000 very rapidly.[2] This overwhelming growth in population made it nearly impossible for the previously established law enforcement to regulate any longer which resulted in the organization of vigilantes. These militias hanged eight people and forced several elected officials to resign. Each Committee of Vigilance formally relinquished power after three months.[3]”

It is becoming increasingly obviously that antifa needs to be stopped by “any means necessary “ according to their own words. I would include vigilantes and even covert snipers if that’s what it takes since the police seem to be next to useless given the restraints placed upon them by leftist idiot “civic leaders”.

I suggest the first thing "we" conservatives do is to attend these "peaceful protests" and then follow the helmeted-and-black-masked Antifa members home to establish their names and addresses for the use of future conservative "activists" who might want to invite these misguided folks out for coffee to have rational discussions to "bring us together" and "heal" our differences.

A peaceful prayer vigil is attacked by ANTIFA terrorists and the police just watch. You can be sure that had this been a BLM rally and one or two people protested against it the SWAT team, ATF, FBI, and Justice Department would have descended like locusts to stop them.

What’s needed is a couple of hundred dead Antifa members. Yes, I know that the feds will mercilessly charge and arrest anyone who dares defend themselves and kills one of these worthless fools but it’s going to come to that at some point. Someone mentioned that they don’t try this sort of thing in red states. If they attacked a church service in my state of Georgia I can promise several would be shot.

The Washington Post criticized the Biden administration's handling of the southern border crisis Sunday and pushed for a coherent strategy to deal with the record number of migrants trying to enter the U.S. illegally. In an editorial, the Post predicted the "incoherence" of the Biden administration's policies could lead to Democrats losing control of the House and Senate in the 2022 midterm elections, and there was likely nothing in its current strategy that would change that outcome. "In its apparent desperation to fashion an immigration strategy that will impose order on increasingly out-of-control migration, the Biden administration has unleashed a torrent of words and goals untethered to specific policies

It might surprise you to know I support critical race theory. Or, to be more exact, I believe it’s critical to understand – maybe more so than at any other point in our shared history in the U.S. – that there is only one race, the human race. There is no White race, no Black race, no red race, no brown race, no yellow race, no mixed race. There is one critical human race. That’s not a theory, that’s a fact.

The city of Denver spends at least twice as much on homelessness per person as it does on K-12 public school students – and the spending crushes the veterans affairs budget in the state, a new study released Thursday found, according to a report. For comparison, the city reportedly spends between $41,679 and $104,201 on each person experiencing homelessness in a year while only $19,202 on each K-12 public school student over the same period of time. The amount spent on each homeless person in the area is comparable to the average income of area residents.

Democrats who advanced a bill in June to remove statues of white supremacists from the U.S. Capitol ignored a central fact about those figures: All of them had been icons of their party, from Andrew Jackson’s adamantly pro-slavery vice president, John C. Calhoun, to North Carolina Gov. Charles B. Aycock, an architect of the white-supremacist campaign of 1898 that ushered in the era of Jim Crow. At a time when governments, sports teams, schools and other bastions of American society are rushing to expunge legacies of slavery or racism, this was another instance of the Democratic Party’s failure to acknowledge that it did more than any other institution

As the fight over election reform heats up in Congress, the White House is ramping up the rhetoric, declaring that President Biden and Vice President Harris are “incensed by the anti-voter laws that are trampling on our constitutional principles.” It is a mantra repeated on an array of liberal news sites, but the coverage tends to be selective in what constitutional principles are being abridged. "Our constitutional principles" include state power over elections. While the president decries an “unprecedented attack on democracy,” the federalization of elections being pursued by Democrats actually would contravene what the Framers considered a core protection of democracy.
