President Joe Biden suggested the violence of the January 6th riot on Capitol Hill was worse than the Civil War during a speech Thursday at the White House.
âNot even during the Civil War did insurrectionists breach the Capitol of the United States of America, the citadel of our democracy,â Biden began. âNot even then. But on January the 6th, 2021, they did.â
The president hosted a signing ceremony Thursday for a bill awarding Capitol Police officers a Congressional Gold Medal for their response to the January 6th riots, giving Biden an opportunity to excoriate supporters of the former president

Another propaganda event, as they desperately try to rewrite history.
Lies.

They walked through open doors, held open by Capitol Police officers after the same Capitol Police had lobbed teargas canisters into the crowd whose assembly position was planned and coordinated by ... the Capitol Police.

I can tell you what happened on January 6th, a feeble, dimwitted, degenerate old man was installed as president.

I wish the Confederates HAD made it to the capitol. It might be a better country. At least a freer one.

The Confederates did make it into the capital. The party of slavery and overseers, the Democrats, is the majority in both houses.
Joe Biden is a Confederate.
Lincoln was a Republican.

The Capitol is not the "citadel of our democracy." It is now the command center of the communist regime.

The Confederates didn't make it but the Puerto Rican Independentistas did in the 40's when they stormed the House of Representatives and shot up the place. Why all they fuss about Jan 6th when this happened? The only person killed was a woman who was shot through a door by a trigger happy cop.

Does Biteme know why the Confederates didn't make it to the Capitol? They could have if they continued to march toward D.C. after the first battle of Bull Run. The Union army was in complete retreat with the army scattered all over the place. The Civil War could have been over after the first battle, but the Confederates didn't pursue the Union army, and thus lost their best opportunity to win the war. After Bull Run, D.C. was then surrounded with dozens of forts. Some on which are still there to be explored today.

#14 is correct but the CSA had no interest in seizing DC. They just wanted to be left alone and First Manassas was simply repelling an invading army. Interesting fact....it took the Union troops 4 days to get to Bull Run but only 12 hours to flee back to Washington. There were also some DC residents who followed the army to watch while rebels get beaten. The slaughter must have been shocking before they panicked and ran.
