President Joe Biden completely deflected a reporter’s question about Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL)and his handling of the pandemic on Thursday afternoon responding, “Governor who?” after his administration’s spent the entire week in a war of words with the governor. NBC White House correspondent, Kelly O’Donnell asked Biden about DeSantis’ public commitment to “get in the way” of the federal government’s efforts to reimpose pandemic restrictions. “Governor who?” Biden asked, “That’s my response.” The friction between the administration and the Florida GOP governor has grown as the White House doubles down on federal mandates and restrictions concerning the coronavirus,

Gov. DeSantis had the perfect response. If you have not heard it I suggest you check it out. It was pitch perfect, delivered like a man who knows what's going on and the biden camp knows it's true. It was a win win for the DeSantis supporters.

I am confident that Biden does not know who the governor of Florida is. In fact, he probably has forgotten that Florida is one of the states. But, you know the thing. . . . .

Progressive Democratic Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri is expressing her outrage after the governor pardoned the couple who brandished firearms at Black Lives Matter protesters marching past their St. Louis home during last summer’s riots — calling the move “absolutely unbelievable.” “It was absolutely unbelievable,” Bush, who was among the marchers, told CNN on Wednesday, a day after Republican Gov. Mike Parson announced that he pardoned Mark and Patricia McCloskey. Mark had pleaded guilty to misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and Patricia pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment. The couple had been initially indicted on felony charges.

Looks like Joe Biden has gotten Barack Obama’s tailor. The president became a vision in tan Friday, as he delivered a speech in a suit that online wags couldn’t help but notice looked a lot like the one his predecessor infamously rocked at a press conference seven years ago — and which got him so roasted that it sparked “tan suit gate.” Biden wore the fitted, sand-colored suit with a green tie and an American flag pin on his left lapel while reporting last month’s jobs growth — the same look that Obama wore in 2014 as he also gave an economic speech.

During a heated argument on Thursday during a Fox News segment over the rise in COIVD-19 cases, conservative commentator Dan Bongino unleashed on Geraldo Rivera. The pair, who joined Fox News host Sean Hannity’s show, disagreed over President Joe Biden’s relaxed border policies at the U.S.-Mexico border despite the rise in COVID-19 cases. Bongino continuously pointed to this development however Rivera kept trying to change the topic. “Our fellow Americans will die because of this stupidity,” Hannity said when referring to how the immigrants coming over the border are bringing the disease with them. “Talking about stupidity, actually, I reject that characterization, that harsh characterization,” Rivera replied. “Oh, it’s brilliant? It’s smart?”

National Institutes of Health director Dr. Francis Collins said Tuesday on CNN’s “New Day” that parents should wear masks in their homes to protect children under 12 who can not yet get vaccinated. Collins said, “It’s clear that this variant is capable of causing serious injury in children. You have heard those stories coming out of Louisiana pediatric ICUs where there are kids as young as a few months old who are sick from this. That is rare, certainly younger people are less likely to fall ill, but anyone that tried to tell you ‘Ah, you don’t have worry about it if you’re a young, healthy person,’

It was a weird position in which to find myself – actively rooting against the United States Olympic team. Not the whole team, though I’ve been rather open about my indifference on that subject, but the women’s soccer team. Or should I say, the wymxn’s soccer team? Who knows, and who cares? They lost and it’s glorious. There are some members of the team you feel sorry for, the few who don’t kneel during the national anthem, but not many. The rest of them? Meh. Led by Megan Rapinoe, the Americans lost to Canada in the semi-finals, ending their chances at a gold medal. Excellent. I love the country,

The 2,700 pages of the so-called bipartisan “infrastructure” bill released Sunday night by Breitbart News show the commission Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) wife sits on will receive double the funding if passed, in a way to possibly ensure Manchin’s swing vote to secure the bill. The legislation was written in a way to greatly expand the funding and power for the Appalachian Regional Commission, where Gayle Manchin sits as the co-chair. Earlier in the year, President Joe Biden nominated Gayle to be the co-chair of the Appalachian Regional Commission. This commission is an economic development partnership involving the federal government and 13 states.

U.S. Olympics hammer thrower Gwen Berry now says that she will protest against the United States on the medal stand to “represent the oppressed peoples” if she medals this week. Berry raised eyebrows by refusing to stand at attention for the national anthem during the U.S. Olympic Trials in June when she won the bronze in the hammer throw. But until this weekend, Berry would not say if she intended to mount any protests if she medals at the Games in Tokyo. On Sunday, Berry put to rest any questions about her intentions. During an interview after she made it through the qualifying round in Tokyo,

Former President Donald Trump will hold his next campaign-style rally in Alabama later this month, his political organization announced Monday. Trump will travel to Cullman, located about halfway between Birmingham and Huntsville on Interstate 65, to deliver remarks on Aug. 21, according to Save America. The rally will take place on the same day the state Republican Party holds its summer meeting, also in Cullman. The 45th president won Alabama by more than 25 percentage points in both the 2016 and 2020 elections. However, while Trump traveled to the Yellowhammer State in 2019 to take in the college football showdown between Alabama and LSU,

Steadily increasing gun sales across the country as the COVID-19 pandemic lingered and then reignited in recent weeks amid the spread of the new Delta variant continue to cause sustained shortages of ammunition, which is impacting new gun owners, law enforcement agencies, and firearms instructors. Gun sales, especially for first-time buyers, soared as the pandemic stretched for months last year but also as riots and criminal violence rose dramatically as well, all of which placed strains on U.S. ammunition makers who struggled to keep up. Sales appeared to surge again after Joe Biden won the presidency and gun-control-pushing Democrats took over Congress, putting ammo makers even further behind.

During a congressional hearing on voting rights, U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) got a Texas Democrat to acknowledge that adults need a government-issued photo ID to operate in day-to-day life. State Rep. Senfronia Thompson is one of a large group of Texas Democrats who fled to Washington, D.C., on private jets, thereby creating an absence of a procedurally necessary quorum in the lower chamber, to prevent the GOP-majority legislature from passing an election reform measure. The bill has already passed the Texas senate. Under Mace’s rapid fire questioning — which was necessitated because of the five-minute limitation under prevailing House Oversight Committee rules —

It’s cheap, easy, and lots of fun to highlight Joe Biden’s incoherence and creepiness. Heck, he displays it constantly. Just yesterday, he sniffed a little girl’s hair and made an utterly incomprehensible speech likening police to brawling high school athletes. However, Don Surber, one of the most acute political observers suggests that Biden may be hiding a still-sharp brain behind that decrepit, incoherent exterior. I put it to you, the readers, to make the call. On Thursday, Twitter wasn’t able to stop “Creepy Joe” from trending. The reason was that he was once again caught snuffling at a little girl under the pretext of whispering something to her:

MADISON, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin removed a large boulder from its Madison campus on Friday at the request of minority students who view the rock as a symbol of racism. Chamberlin Rock, on the top of Observatory Hill, is named after Thomas Crowder Chamberlin, a geologist and former university president. Students of color on campus say the rock represents a history of discrimination. The boulder was referred to as a derogatory name for Black people in a Wisconsin State Journal story in 1925.
