The Biden administration’s ‘totalitarian’ move to extend the eviction moratorium means the head of the CDC ‘will now decide who can live in your home, under what circumstance, and for how long,’ Tucker Carlson says. The Fox News host on Wednesday blasted Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the CDC director, as ‘just a college professor’ who ‘you’d almost certainly never heard of before this year.'Rochelle Walensky now makes the laws,' Carlson told his viewers on Wednesday.
I don't understand how she has any kind of authority to make this decision. Pretty soon you are going to have landlords that haven't been paid for a very long time, just handing the property back to the bank and letting them deal with it. In some states, during foreclosure, the banks can throw tenants out with a 30 day notice and are not bound to honor any lease.

She doesn't have the authority to do this. The CDC has no authority in these matters. This nonsense will end up being addressed by SCOTUS, I'm sure. Republicans have to retake Congress next year, and the White House in '24. Our freedom depends on it.

Now that Biden & Co has cancelled rent payments, will he also roll back property taxes and utility payments that landlords have to pay out of those rental charges.

And you can live in your home ONLY if you are vaccinated.

The Supreme Joke of the United States could have ended this power grab. But chose to extend unconstitutional limited power to the Federal goobernment. That is the job of the Court, to extend the unconstitutional power of goobernment. Now we have no laws, no constitution, just the raw power of the Federal goobernment doing whatever it desires regardless of laws or constitution.

Hey, people who own homes occupied by non-rent-paying squatters should just pay Guido to, well, you see where I’m going, doncha? Then collect the insurance money and buy something else.

We have a government that is being run by people and agency heads that the citizens of this country did not elect. We have a dementia-inflicted puppet that many many people believe was not elected. We have Tech companies deciding what is and isn't protected by the Constitution. None of these Bolsheviks have any regard for private-party or personal rights. IF the people of this country continue to roll over and allow the minority fringe to be used as a tool by these Marxists to dictate policy; then the citizens of this country will reap what they have allowed to be sewn.

So throw delinquent renters out, change the lock and see what the government does. I would also set up security cameras in case former renters decided to take revenge. If there was any back rent due, sell any possessions left in the house to offset the rent due. The CDC as well as all other governmental and quasi-governmental offices only have power if we give it to them. It is time for us to take the power back. They have shown themselves to be irresponsible and corrupt with the power we have given them. The next step is to stop paying taxes. Starving the beast will drive a lot of the crooks out of public office.

Pretty soon we'll end up with those gray, half-block long, run down tenant housing just like in Moscow. I know, some cities already have these, but wait until it becomes the standard.

So many of you are 100% right. Pelosi has no Constitutional or moral authority to do this BUT she has been doing what she wants without punishment for many months.
Yes #2, but even if we retake the House and Senate our freedom will STILL be up for grabs if the GOP does not forcefully hold lawbreakers, officials that helped with election fraud, illegal invaders of our nation’s border ACCOUNTABLE. This means JAIL.

So basically I walk down the street and find a nice looking big house. I then go to the DMV and change the address on my photo id to that address. I then wait for the homeowners to go to work. I then kick in the door and change the locks. I can't be evicted. If they try I call the police and show them my ID.

Federal crimes and the punishments therein are codified within the U.S.Code because and only because of legislation that becomes public law. An edict from the CDC, an agency within the Executive branch, does not make laws. The president can sign enrolled legislation to create a public law but neither the president, nor any agency within the Executive Branch, cannot make public law.

In some places, #8, the property owner will be in serious legal trouble, liable for large financial damages if they do that.

The edict is worthless. There is NO WAY the govt. can enforce it...the SCOTUS already shut this down!
