COVID-19 in Los Angeles: Over 25%
of cases are fully vaccinated people

Los Angeles—Health officials in Los Angeles County said over 25% of new coronavirus cases are among those who have been fully vaccinated, an increase from last month, according to a report Wednesday. Health officials have called the vaccines effective and said breakthrough cases are to be expected, but the number is a noticeable increase from June when fully vaccinated individuals accounted for 20% of the county’s infections, Fox 11 Los Angeles reported. "As more people are vaccinated, the number of fully vaccinated people becoming infected will increase and with the Delta variant that’s far more infectious, exposures to infections have also increased," Barbara Ferrer,

Comments:

Vaccinated people are getting sick, not because Biden is flooding the usa with sick newcomers, and certainly not because the vaccine is ineffective, but because of american vaccine deniers influenced by a Russian disinformation campaign.

Don’t you morons know, like Ms. Pelosi does, that about 95% of all deaths in the USA and entire world for that matter, during the last 18 months, were a result of the Covid virus? All of this could have been prevented by masking and getting “the jab”. All of those dead people should have their estate or family fined for their neglect in not avoiding this infection made totally preventable by President Biden and LoudSpeaker Pelosi.

Least we forget that the original claims, depending on the manufacturer, the effectiveness was 70-90+%. Also. The vaccine does not prevent infection. It helps your body fight the infection with greatly reduced symptoms. So...... I'm not surprised.

I read recently that the J&J shot, which was only about 70% effective from the virus, was much less effective against the Delta variant, maybe as low as 30-35% effective. Could it they who are becoming infected now? If so, it would be better information, particularly for all those (many teachers I hear) who decided on the one-shot vaccine option, to better protect themselves.

The fear-mongering continues. The vaxxine does not prevent anyone from catching the wuflu, it is only supposed to produce less severe symptoms when you do catch it. The odds of dying from the jab are higher than dying from the wuflu. But roll up your sleeve and line up and get the double whammy and the boosters when they come out, and you won't be afraid anymore. There will be a new variant every 5-6 months from her on so be ready. This is our new normal. Things will never go back to what they used to be.

It's probably more than 25% since the new testing regimen has a higher threshold for "positive" for those who have been "fully vaccinated" than for those who have declined being "vaccinated". I think the idea was to make it look like the "vaccines" are protective. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

#11 you have mislead. The vaccines are manufactured to prevent Covid-19 nothing in their literature states they are to help your body fight the infection with greatly reduced symptoms. They are trying to convince people with the a narrative because they are not working as advertised. From the Moderna Fact Sheet: WHAT IS THE MODERNA COVID-19 VACCINE? The Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine is an unapproved vaccine that may prevent COVID-19. There is no FDA-approved vaccine to prevent COVID-19. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE MODERNA COVID-19 VACCINE? In an ongoing clinical trial, the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine has been shown to prevent COVID-19 following 2 doses given 1 month apart. The duration of protection against COVID-19 is currently unknown. Most of the vaccinated patients, 79%, experienced symptomatic breakthrough infections. Testing from 133 patients revealed that the delta variant was responsible for 90% of the cases. Of the five COVID-19 patients who required hospitalization, four were fully vaccinated. No deaths were reported.

Carlos Miyoga, CEO of Jackson Health System in Miami, told Local 10 that the strain accounts for around 10 percent of cases in the area. Health experts suspect that constant travel between Miami and Colombia caused the variant to travel in the state and are urging residents to get vaccinated. The variant was first discovered in January in the Colombia, where, at its peak in late June,

The Oxford English Dictionary defines tolerance as "the ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with. Last March, I followed the CDC’s advice and got fully vaccinated against COVID-19. I did so more out of a sense of civic duty than any actual fear that I might contract the virus. It was just an easy and scientifically sound way to help slow its spread. Naturally, I was delighted when the CDC finally announced that fully vaccinated people could safely participate in indoor and outdoor activities without wearing inconvenient and clinically useless face masks. Now, the CDC has reversed itself and issued new guidance telling 163.6 million fully vaccinated Americans to put our masks back on. Sorry, no sale.
