Recall Faulty COVID PCR Test

Last week, big media was salivating over the COVID Delta variant and recommendations for indoor masking, even for the vaccinated, masking young children, and the possibility of a return to last year, with social distancing, capacity limits, and business closures. (snip) somehow missed by the investigative sleuths at CNN and MSNBC was the recall of a COVID rapid antigen test last month. (snip) Even that bastion of right-wing propaganda, the New York Times, recognized last year the folly of PCR testing with a high cycle threshold

The Covid testing mechanisms are defective - can't trust the result. The Covid shots are not as effective as advertised - can't trust how well they work, you may still catch the Covid. But Fauci says everyone should be inoculated. There is something going on here.

My opinion. The tests were so bad that the normal flu was diagnosed as covid. People were testing positive when they didn't have it. And many of these people skipped the vaccine "knowing" that they were now immune. Elon Musk had 4 different covid tests in one day. Two were positive, two were negative. The false positives helped to drive the panic porn. The delta variant arrives just in time for the left to exercise more dictatorial powers and demand mail in ballots for 2022.

Pretty soon the only approved tests will be the ones profiting Gates and Soros. Funny how that works. And the results can be whatever the politics of the moment demands that they be.

I need to begin a list of falsehoods the left stood firm in insisting were factual until the purpose of that stance was no longer useful or when no political harm could come from the truth. Somehow they still make the next deception stick to the barn wall on the very next throw.

The iconic Lakerman - that would be me - has been whining about the useless PCR tests for the past year. Kung Flu is a novel corona virus, just as the common cold is. I continue to believe the PCR test in question was also giving false positives based on common colds, as well as on influenza. ('Influenza' translates to 'under the influence' of a cold. Golfer Jon Rahm should sue the test makers, the PGA, and weight watchers. And we should quarantine China.

In the recent spate of articles on the rapid increase in Covid variant cases, there is no mention of the low confidence in the testing that identifies these cases. As long as the leftists can scare people with warnings about cases they can continue to exert power over the people. A Covid test may not be more accurate than a coin flip, but it can still be useful to exert emergency control over us. The fact is now that most people have either already had the Chinese virus or have been vaccinated, most of the population is immune.

It's also important to know in the larger scheme of things that 77% of flu is asymptomatic based on a large sample flu study done in 2014. https://www.clinicaladvisor.com/home/web-exclusives/most-flu-cases-asymptomatic/ This means that asymptomatic people do not drive disease or the percentage would be the inverse. Remember -- prior to Feb 2020, to be a 'case' you had to test positive and PRESENT WITH SYMPTOMS. That definition was radically changed over the past year to call anyone with a positive test a case. Also, be angry that the definition of herd immunity was changed from vaxxed+recovered to VAXXED ONLY. We're being played, and played hard.

The inventor of the PCR test said before his death that it was never intended to diagnose disease. Those using it for political purposes were unconcerned with that.

The real take home from this is that if the "antigen test" can't tell the difference between the flu or other corona viruses. This is a very interesting clue. I asked a cellular biology research professor friend in March of last year if he thought that having had the various different inflenza vaccinations over the previous 15 years might provide some 'peripheral' immunity to this particular virus. He thought that there was a pretty fair chance that there would be some commonality between the viruses and might be a reasonable chance of some 'cross immunity'. If the antigen test ID's them the same, at least some people's immune systems will identify them as the same, too. So, this indicates that the pre-existing immunity cohort, which has been estimated by various experts at 50-65% of people, does exist to some extent - and these tests find the antigens to multiple viruses. An interesting experiment, entirely aside from the whole mess of a non-specific test being used as if it were specific.

Sinclair Lewis’s novel of 1935, It Can’t Happen Here, was published amid the rise of fascism in Europe. The book is about the political career of fictional Buzz Windrip, who is elected President in 1936, defeating FDR with a campaign promising a return to traditional values, drastic social and economic reforms (he promises every American $5k). Once elected, he becomes a totalitarian tyrant (snip) consider the parallels with the current occupant of the Oval Office. Windrip outlaws dissent (consider the Biden administration’s partnership with big tech to censor opposing opinions).

Over the past three decades a sizable majority of the ruling elites have been preoccupied with self-aggrandizement and cohabitation with the Communist Chinese, ignoring the gradual and now complete domination of many of the nation’s institutions, and most importantly the Democrat party, by American Marxists. Perhaps it’s because I grew up surrounded by extraordinarily tough people, but I found myself singularly unmoved by the spectacle in the House on Tuesday, which reminded me of a bad mash-up of Dr. Phil, Oprah, and BLM-produced soap opera, rather than a legitimate inquiry into an event that Democrats have seized upon to consolidate their power by destroying their opposition. As sobbing congressmen and Capitol Police officers took turns talking about their psychic injuries, I was alternately embarrassed for them if they were really that weak, and frightened of them if they were that sociopathic as a pathway to power.

There was an amazing confluence of events in Oakland, California, when uber-leftist Barbara "Call me Senator" Boxer, the former Senator from California whose departure paved the way for Kamala Harris, was mugged in a city that has led the way in defunding the police. Had the elderly Boxer been injured, I’d like to think I’m a decent enough person that I would have been shocked by what happened and felt for her. However, as she was not injured, I can only say that karma came a-knockin’ on her door and that literally being mugged by reality is, perhaps, a useful experience for a leftist.

Is it wrong that I'm rooting for the U.S. Women's National Team to lose, and humiliatingly so, this Olympics? Of course it's not wrong. The USWNT, led by America's favorite histrionic Megan Rapinoe, protested against racism and discrimination by taking the knee before their first Olympic match. Though the stadium was empty (certainly nothing new to the USWNT), the attending "reporters" revived each other with smelling salts to swoon and gape at the unparalleled fortitude exhibited by these privileged virtue-signalers in what was dubbed a "social justice reckoning".

Alone among the advanced countries of the world, Sweden followed the sensible policy for dealing with a highly transmissible virus with a 99%+ survival rate, dangerous mostly to easily identifiable groups – the elderly and those with co-morbidities. It allowed the population at minimal risk to carry on life as usual, and restricted movements and otherwise protected only those at elevated risk.
