The IRS’ persecution of a Christian
nonprofit should terrify all of us

A decade after the Internal Revenue Service targeted conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status, the agency recently pulled a similar stunt with a faith-based organization named Christians Engaged. The IRS called it quits after a public backlash, but people and groups that are out of favor with the left should be wary of renewed government discrimination. The Christians Engaged saga is nearly two years running. In fall 2019, the outfit applied to the IRS for tax-exempt status as a nonprofit. This status would allow it to receive tax-deductible donations and more effectively fulfill its mission to “awaken, motivate, educate and empower ordinary believers

Each day brings another outrage. I worry that we will not be able to rein in a government that has been radicalized to this extent over decades. You have to give it to them, the radicals who set out to fundamentally transform this country have thought this through. They have infiltrated every aspect of the government to such an extent that the agencies are filled with radical bureaucrats who respect nothing but their rabid ideology. Evil has taken root in our government and those roots go deep. Many individuals, if not most, are lawless anti-American zealots committed to totalitarianism. If there are Patriots among them, they certainly keep their heads down. Whistleblowing must be a thing of the past or there just isn’t any around. I don’t believe the country has ever been in the danger it is in today. As the article indicates our basic rights are being violated by an all powerful government. When has that ever happened so openly and with such vigor? Unless God intervenes shortly, I cannot see how we can hold back what seems to be inevitable without violence and no one wants that. This is a time for courage and determination and we see little of that from any of our public servants. Those who could make a difference must stand up now in order to prevent the greatest country on this planet from being controlled by radicalized anti-American globalists.

The article says one thing which I disagree with: "If IRS bureaucrats believe that the Bible and its teachings are inherently Republican, they are woefully out of touch with a huge swath of America. " While they are correct that the Bible and its teachings are not inherently Republican, the Democratic Party has rejected the Bible and its teachings. It is inconsistent to vote for a Democrat if you believe the Bible and its teachings.

The Marxist apparatchiks at the IRS denied tax exempt status because, "Bible teachings are typically affiliated with the [Republican] Party and candidates,." Outrageous. We're going back to the days of Obambi - using the 3-letter agencies to persecute Christians and conservatives. They got away with it last time, using soulless vipers like Lois Lerner, who was never held accountable. There's no reason to think anyone will stop them this time either. When the the IRS, FBI, and CIA have gone rogue and are being weaponized against the populous, we're teetering on the brink. Pray for our country. We need a miracle.

The author used Planned Parenthood as a hypothetical of how the IRS would handle a request by them for tax exempt status differently. But the author didn't need a hypothetical. Look at Black churches. They are tax exempt and they are almost entirely democrat to the extent that democrat politicians actually campaign at the churches.

Re #2 - Once again, Trump just cannot fire a civil servant. Sorry - that is just how it works. He can fire appointees but even then, McConnell and others made it very clear to Trump that he couldn't even fire Jeff Sessions as McConnell would not support whoever Trump nominated in place of Sessions in order to get Senate confirmation. And again, McConnell never let the Senate go into recess so Trump could not even make recess appointments. The problem wasn't Trump - it was and is the GOP. And some poor man for simply wandering into the Senate Chamber on January 6 is doing more prison time than the execrable puke Lois Lerner - who should be sitting in federal prison for at least the past decade.

Rules for Radicals, dedicated to the first rebel, Satan, who fell from heaven with l/3 of the angels, now demons, called for overwhelming the "System" so the "System" collapses. This is what is happening in every sector of our country, our government....our Southern border, courts, unconstitutional legislation, millions of Covid infected illegal aliens flooding our country, (flying hundreds of thousands of them into red States in the middle of night to change from them from Red to Blue) and bankrupting our country with trillions of dollars to demonrat allies, etc. So much corruption everywhere and very difficult to change because of the volumne. That is the plan. If the foundations are destroyed, what will the Righteous do? Pray for divine intervention, vote and turn to God.

Our #8 is exactly right. Forget for a minute the Marxists, spies for foreign countries and terrorist sympathizers sprinkled throughout the federal government. When you have a system where employees may never pay tax bills, never ever get fired even for lawbreaking, you cannot have a decent government. You do not attract righteous people of good character. Trump saw that firsthand.
