The 'Silent Majority' Is Rapidly Becoming the
'Angry Majority'

The "silent majority" was mentioned by President Nixon in 1969, who labeled middle Americans who weren't protesting the Vietnam war or joining the counter culture — two activities being over-reported by the media of the day. The silent majority didn't speak up much but respected traditional American values with a good-natured approach to political issues. They were silent, but they voted. In 1972, Nixon was re-elected with one of the largest landslides in U.S. history — 520 electoral votes to only 17 for McGovern. Today, most Americans focus on work and family and trust that our elected officials will work for us,

Comments:

I am very careful of with whom I discuss politics, even in my own family. I don't have political bumper stickers on my car, nor do I wear political clothing, although I DID wear red on voting day, both in 2016 and 2020. And at this point, I will NOT be getting the jab until they produce one that has been thoroughly tested and vetted and then approved by the FDA.

How many parents sit down with their children and discuss about the politics, history and the country? Do they convey their biases to their children?

We are angry. And not just at the Demon-Rats -- who prove just how evil they are more and more every day. We are also angry at the Republi-Can'ts -- who prove just how useless and impotent they are day after day, especially how they stabbed President Trump in the back over and over again last November. We really, really, really need a new conservative party that will fight the evil lie-berals in both major parties!!!!

Ummmm... The Marxists currently hold the 3 branches if government. The military, the judicial system, education, entertainment and just about everything else. If there are democrats if any stripe still breathing American Patriots are not angry enough in my opinion. American Patriots have been angry for decades and will continue to be angry. Anger without action is futile. Look at the state of the republic

Americans speak English. English speakers have a history of ending governments they do not like or support. The American Revolution and stopping the Confederacy are two examples. Reagan defeating the execrable Jimmy Carter is another. The Democrats think that command socialism with them in charge is just around the corner. It isn't. Spanish speakers like in Cuba and Venezuela are easily led and complain meekly. Democrat Communist politicians know that to win elections they must cheat, but 80 million people now know this and will not complain meekly.

At least two Republican-led states are now considering banning Ben & Jerry’s ice cream after the company announced on Monday that it would no longer sell its ice cream in “occupied Palestinian territory.” Both Texas and Florida officials have come out against Ben & Jerry’s, threatening to invoke state laws to punish companies that advocate or act to boycott, divest, or sanction Israel. America’s strongest ally has decried the ice cream giant’s move as anti-Israel and antisemitic. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas State Comptroller Glenn Hegar are threatening to add Ben & Jerry’s and its parent company, Unilever, to a blacklist of organizations that boycott Israel.

Attorney Joseph McBride, who represents Capitol protester Richard Barnett, was in the news earlier this week after an interview on CNN went off the rails when he was mocked by anchor John Avlon for alleging that protesters arrested for their roles in the January 6 protest were being “tortured.” His assessment was a reference to months of solitary confinement, as many of those arrested are being denied bail. But he also said they were “being beaten, they’re being starved, they’re denied medical care, they’re being denied the right to worship, they’re being cut off from their attorneys.”

They can’t stand other opinions. They can’t. They cannot be allowed to live. The people who hold them must be targeted and smeared. All must bow before the unholy altar of American progressivism. If you can’t convince them, destroy them, or deprogram them. That’s what The Washington Post’s Eugene Robinson and Nikole Hannah-Jones wanted yesterday. Grabien’s Tom Elliott clipped the madness. People who support Trump are mentally defective, so they must be deprogrammed. What does that mean? Sounds Stalinist in the extreme. It also reeks of Chinese Cultural Revolution underpinnings. Those who do not believe what we believe are off to the camps. It’s nothing new.

Can a civilization continue to function when the most basic truths cannot be spoken, yet blatant falsehoods are dogma? When radical upheavals are justified not by wisdom, but by disorienting barrages of phony "outrages" and "crises"? Think of a great ship. A nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is an integrated system of immense complexity, requiring thousands of specially trained men to operate and maintain. What if someone suddenly replaced a carrier's human crew with 3,000 excitable chimpanzees?
