The creator of the “1619 Project,” that infernal New York Times piece that reframes America’s founding as being all about promoting slavery, is a fan of Communism and what Castro did to Cuba. Are we surprised? Well no, not really. In a recently resurfaced podcast interview from two years ago, 1619 Project creator Nikole Hannah-Jones sang the praises of Cuba as the “most equal” country in the Western Hemisphere, and that was all thanks to “socialism.” Now in 2021, as we see Cubans crying out in the streets against the tyranny of the island nation’s regime, it’s quite clear that people like Hannah-Jones are dangerous ideologues

As Texas attempts to pass new election integrity legislation, or to Democrats and our media writ large, ‘voting restrictions’, Texas Democrats decided to object to the Senate filibuster, by participating in a filibuster. They were doing the rounds on CNN and MSNBC, appearing on morning shows or being celebrated on them (The View). Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) on Tuesday insisted he will not implement another statewide mask mandate as calls for reinstating such restrictions grow nationwide.
“There will be no mask mandate imposed, and the reasons for that are very clear,” Abbott said during a Tuesday interview.

The law was struck down on Friday in a 3-0 decision by the Sacramento-based Third District Court of Appeal. You may recall the much-ballyhooed plot to supposedly kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer last year. Arrests were made in October of 2020, with the claim being that the FBI had stopped the kidnapping plot as well as a plan to overthrow the government. After it came out in the weeks following the bust that one of the participants was anti-Trump and a Black Lives Matter supporter, the story quickly died down.
