Homeless assaults ramp up in San
Diego, leftist mayor offers idiotic solution

Every solid blue city has its horrors -- from murders in Chicago to organized thievery in San Francisco. In San Diego, where I live, the problem is homeless attacks. Seems the homeless aren't just unsightly, unsanitary, or famous spreaders of disease, they're dangerous, and when you have a lot of them, you have a lot of unprovoked random assaults on law-abiding residents. The problem is out there, and too bad for those who don't like it. San Diego's new leftist mayor, Todd Gloria, is de facto advising the victims that he's going to create more of it. Here's the local NBC News report: [Resident Aislinn] Fava [aged 31] was walking along Broadway

Comments:

The clown thinks homelessness is solved by having the homeless move in.

Time to start posting the residential addresses of blue government clowns like this and offering the homeless transportation to that location--in the back of the pickup, or course. Also, when I'm behind one of those virtue-signaling drivers who thinks that giving a dollar or two to the street corner panhandler is going to earn them a place in heaven, I yell out "Don't be so cheap; give him/her a twenty!" and watch them squirm.

You always get more of what you subsidize. San Diego is subsidizing bums and vagrants, so they are getting more. And a certain portion of bums and vagrants are violent, literally insane, as in should be locked up permanently in a mental ward. An old college roommate lives in San Diego, and I used to visit often. Visits have been getting fewer and farther between in the last decade or two, mostly due to the increasing problems of California. There are still many fun and interesting things to do there, but the cost in irritation, actual expense and endless numbers of illegals everywhere certainly detracts.

The entire coastal section is a mess but I've never lived anywhere near San Diego so not at all my fault in any way on this one. Hopefully they keep re-electing this guy so San Francisco isn't known as the only stupid place in California.

Maybe they will do something about this when the homeless start killing and eating the animals in their famous zoo. I visited SD 12 years ago and both it and the zoo were lovely. Leftists truly do destroy everything.

FTA: “ "For those individuals who raise up the issue of homelessness as a concern, I'd ask them to be a part of the solution," Gloria said. "I'd ask them to participate in the efforts.” In a sense he’s right: it’s going to take huge efforts. Not the “I don’t want to be inconvenienced” effort his voters have in mind, at most a perfunctory Saturday morning or Thanksgiving meal. His voters apparently don’t know it, but what they want is a huge supply of drugs which create psychosis and other malignant effects and no institutionalization of the “homeless.” Perhaps it will take 60% of his voters’ waking efforts to deal with the problem ultimately, since the “homeless” will require pretty much around the clock engagement to prevent the situation from endlessly deteriorating. I’m not sure they meant to vote for that. Too bad The Gullibles believe that a pleasant functioning society just happens by itself.

Todd is new to the job and way over his head, our Republican mayor Faulconer was termed out so now we are stuck with his opposite. Like all elections in this state none are fair. The homeless issue was slowly being reduced but of course now most of Faulconer's policies have been reversed. Faulconer is now running for governor. My solution is to provide free fentanyl.

Native San Diegan here. Live in the county still, but not city of San Diego. My mom lives in a very, very nice and pricey part of the city. There are many homeless causing problems. One guy is a crazy dude who intentionally picks at open wounds to garner sympathy and money. He is a registered sex offender and has been caught on numerous occasions masterbating in front of the local parochial and public grade schools. The cops cannot do anything except arrest and release. Policy. It’s sick. This guy is a menace and yet...nothing. It’s sickening. Todd Gloria is a gay man who only cares about the liberal gay agenda. He’s awful. All the homeless need to be rounded up and given the choice to get clean or move on. Period.

The mayor's solution is very logical - - and even brilliant. If the assaulter has a home - - then he's no longer a "homeless assaulter." Therefore - - "assaults by homeless persons" will automatically decrease significantly. It's the perfect answer.

Hey Gloria, try that experiment first on pigeons and squirrels before you try it with people. The embarrassment will be less intensive when you are out there carrying sacks of peanuts around and shoveling the sidewalk. Maybe you could propose a swimming contest to them. The first homeless guy to reach Coronado Island while in possession of both hands and both feet gets a steak dinner. Do it every day and sell tickets. The problem will disappear before you know it and the sharks will absolutely love you.

It's starting to look bad for Tracy Stone Manning, Joe Biden's nominee to run the Bureau of Land Management. The latest news is that she lied to Congress about her involvement in eco-terrorism; an Earth First! tree-spiking incident in Idaho's Clearwater National Forest in 1989. At the time, she wrote a profane threatening letter to "warn" loggers about the spikes, and then told Congress she knew nothing about the whole thing, and was merely an innocent college kid forced to do it to try to make sure nobody was "getting hurt." It didn't happen that way, according to various sources. Normally, a person with any such involvement,

Texas's Democrat legislators, who dramatically fled the state to prevent a quorum on a vote for a voter-integrity law, had it all worked out beforehand that they'd be hailed as heroes for democracy. But somehow, things didn't quite gone as planned. They've actually become people the public is laughing at. They didn't quite get every detail for the heroic narrative right.
