The Texas Senate passed a Republican-backed voting bill after Democratic House members fled the state in order to block a final House vote. Senators voted 18-4 along party lines to approve the legislation. Eight Senate Democrats announced that they too had fled to Washington, D.C., on Monday, with a ninth expected to arrive Monday evening. However, with 22 out of 31 members present, the Senate kept a quorum and was able to pass the measure. “This bill is about making it both easy to vote and harder to cheat,” Republican state senator Bryan Hughes, who authored the bill, told reporters.

Well done, Texas! Now drag the rest of the commies back, and chain them to their little desks so they can cast their votes, too. It will only hurt a moment, and then you can go back to bitching about your loss and watch Abbott sign the new law.

These demoncrats are something else. They always pretend as though the fight to give all Americans the right to vote was their idea, and that they fought it. Yeah, they did fight it. They fought against it in the Civil War. They viciously fought against Amendments giving blacks any civil rights at all. They were the ones we were fighting against. Now they are making such ridiculous statements such as they are “marching in the path that so many others before did when they fought and many died for our right to vote.” The only thing demoncrats fight for is the right to steal elections any way they can.

Gov. Abbott better follow through on his promise to arrest these democrats. You don’t make a statement like that unless you fully intend to honor your word. Go get them, or just allow them to come back. Either way be prepared for them to scream political prosecution. Their response will be something to see. No one does high drama as well as the demented democrats. The media will be there to portray their arrest as political prosecution of the worst kind. Get use to it, democrats play to win. And they will use this to their advantage, the media will see to it. Texans, you must support your governor in this because that will take some wind out of their sails. Texans deserve better than run away, when they don’t get their way, politicians.

While it’s hilarious watching these fools be totally humiliated by their own childish drama, it is also deeply concerning. They have collectively decided that the wishes of their own voters are irrelevant. What’s more important is preserving voter fraud thus guaranteeing their re-election. The Texas dems in the Texas congress have staged a walkout to prevent the new sensible and fair voting laws introduced by the Reps in Congress for a fairer voting system from coming to a vote. While they are in DC chatting with their US dem cohorts they have deprived the Texas legislature from passing any new business because there has to be a quorum of legislators present to enact any business. They were not elected to stage walkouts if they do not like what the majority party (who represent the majority of Texan voters) are putting forth. Talk about depriving one of their voting rights. How two faced can you be? Once again they are putting party over populace. Thankfully Governor Abbott has decreed -- if you don't show up for work you will not be paid and if you come back home you will be arrested and charged with something. I doubt if the later gets enforced though. This all goes to show you that they will do anything to interfere with honest elections. Just like the Federal election and the Dominion voting fraud machines. They tried to impeach a sitting president with unfounded charges of collaborating with the Russians while the son of the new president was accepting millions of dollars from the Chinese and Russians. More over -- one dem vote from an illegal or a stone cold dead one will cancel out my vote, and that pisses me off.

The White House admitted Wednesday that Senate Democrats lack the votes to pass the $3.5 trillion reconciliation “infrastructure” framework agreed upon Tuesday evening. “If there were enough votes for each of these priorities there would be a vote and it would have happened,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said about the two track infrastructure proposals the Democrats are attempting to pass, one via filibuster- immune reconciliation and the other by a traditional vote. Psaki added that Biden is: …headed up to the hill because it’s the next natural step, ummm, and as I said, he [Biden] knows that as president you lay out out an agenda…

You probably recall a proclamation that President Joe Biden issued on his first day in office. There would be a “pause” in the issuance of new drilling permits on public lands or for offshore sites. Many of us who follow the energy industry closely had a sinking feeling because that “pause” could easily turn into a de facto ban. But not long after that, a strange thing happened. Permits began to quietly be approved again. Unless I missed it, I never saw an official announcement from the White House declaring an end to the pause, but business seemed to be returning to normal in the oil and gas industry.

As we reported earlier, he said that he was going to make them do their job and have them arrested if they return to the state. Abbott eviscerated the Democrats’ false claims about the election security bill, saying that it isn’t denying anyone the right to vote and, in fact, the bill provides for increased voting hours.
