Thousands of Cubans took to the streets from Havana to Santiago on Sunday in rarely seen protests, expressing frustration over pandemic restrictions, the pace of COVID-19 vaccinations and what they said was government neglect. The images of protests in Cuba that have gone viral on social media prompted officials in the United States to call for an American-led intervention to topple the ruling government in Havana.Thousands of Cubans marched on Havana's Malecon promenade and elsewhere on the island on Sunday to protest food shortages and high prices amid the coronavirus crisis, in one of biggest anti-government demonstrations in memory.

Dear Cubans, the administration in the United States wants for Americans what your dictator wants for you. So how can America help you?

How….convenient, but not buying it. The Cuban people “rise up” very publicly and ask for assistance from the U.S. just as our citizens are waking up to the fact that we are governed by crime syndicates, liars, murderers and thieves who steadily bring lawlessness and Communism here? I wonder if this a staged disinformation attempt by our rogue intelligence forces to convince us that our leadership is desirable.

I smell a color revolution; and very likely a needed distraction from Joey the Pinhead.

Stay OUT of it! Let Cubans fight their own battles. We don't need our guys getting killed over there! We have enough problems of our own!

They should not be looking to the US for help. Xiden and his cabal are on the side of the dictatorship and would have no problem helping to rid Cuba of the protesters.
And these protests have nothing to do with covid, though the enemedia would like us to believe that absolutely everything is related to covid.

Forgot to add - the Capitol Police would have no problem sending Michael Byrd down to assist the dictatorship.

The Cubans are not demonstrating against the Castro Communist Government by itself, they are demonstrating because their beloved Communist government has not provided enough of the free or extremely cheap rationed stuff to meet their needs as is the Communist governments duty to the slave people.

If this administration sent troops to Cuba, it would most likely be to suppress any rebellion. They are already blaming it on COVID (how convenient). Biden won't help Cuba because his puppeteers are Communists that only support anything that is bad for America, and they absolutely do not want a free Cuba.

NO American troops in Cuba. We have our own invasion on our southern border. That has to be resolved first.
I was thinking, since Antifa is always telling us that they are against fascism, and, obviously, the Cuban government is fascistic, then why doesn't Antifa go to Cuba and fight real fascists?
And I feel very sorry for the Cuban people, but right now we have way too many problems of our own to solve.

We need to first get rid of the dictatorship in our country, before worrying about Cuba.

The problem Cubans historically encounter is dependence on government, and on the US. From the time Spain was run out of Cuba the country became a dependency - the US bought its sugar and colonized Havana. When trouble struck in the form of civil unrest, American troops were sent. When Castro ran off Batista he first turned to the US for support. He never got it, and he turned to Russia instead.
The Cuban economy is a shambles. It cannot operate with the materials and situation as it is. The US offers opportunity for improvement. But there is a history here. I fully expect a short run of democracy followed by increasing authoritarianism...the return of Batista-style governance. Too many possibilities with the "right" investment on the line.

After Jill wipes away the drool from her husband's mouth, the US may decide to intervene in Cuba...on the side of the communists.
