A teenage boy was killed among three people killed in a spate of six shootings in the span of 14 hours in New York City on Sunday. Jaryan Elliot, 13, was standing outside Angels Café with a friend on East 187th Street in the Bronx's Belmont neighborhood at around 3.15pm when he was gunned down in what police believe was a gang-related shooting, the NYPD said. The gunman approached Jaryan in a black vehicle, stepped out and began firing, hitting him once in the chest and once in the leg, police said. Jaryan was taken to Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Inner-city black thugs and gangbangers shooting other black thugs and gangbangers, possibly some innocent black bystanders caught in the crossfire. The solution? Take all the guns away from white people in the rest of the state. Tyranny anyone?

I like how the establishment press keeps using the nonsense euphemism ''gun violence'' as if anthropomorphic guns are floating around shooting people at random. The correct term is violent crime. Crime has increased, because those in office have abdicated their authority to enforce the law and allowed criminals to run loose.

That "boy" had a long, violent criminal history. Sorry, that means he was no longer a boy. Do adult crimes, get adult punishment....including from fellow criminals. Stand clear when the criminals are killing each other. A shame that the Chicago politicians don't care about any of this.

Vice President Kamala Harris made a pointed gesture of support Tuesday for Texas Democratic legislators who are on the lam after bolting quorum to prevent enactment of new voting restrictions. The White House didn't publicize the meeting until minutes before it occurred – after the runaway lawmakers flew to Washington by private jet after blocking the legislation, infuriating Republicans. Harris dropped in on a meeting the lawmakers were holding in D.C., where she gave full-throated support to their actions, even with the Texas House voting to arrest them when they return home.

I’ve heard a lot of Joe Biden speeches over the years and certainly gotten more than my fill the last six months. Yet, Biden delivered a speech today on “voter suppression” that is probably his most dishonest, most vitriolic rant to date, and that’s saying something.Unlike many of his past speeches, the story wasn’t Biden’s brain breaking down as he attempted to read the teleprompter. Sure, there were moments where he looked as if he were going to pass out, but it was the substance that was far more disturbing. The basis of Biden’s speech was the idea that Republicans are trying to stop minorities from voting by having normal standards
