As the Biden administration peddles its plan to send door-knocking missionaries across America to spread 'vaccine awareness' (and keep track of who's vaccinated and who's not), White House-coordinated FEMA "surge teams" are being assembled to reinforce local efforts on the ground. In preparation for the coming campaign, Lake County, Illinois has published 'Helpful Hints' for volunteers taking part in their "Community Health Ambassador Outreach Door Knocking Project to Increase COVID Vaccine Acceptance."

After a year of lockdown, museums, libraries and bookstores across America are reopening. This cultural reawakening’s beginning coincided with both the Juneteenth holiday and the one-year anniversary of the one of the largest protests in American history against racial injustice. (snip) I want to unmask the lie that evolution denial is about religion and recognize that at its core, it is a form of white supremacy that perpetuates segregation and violence against Black bodies. Under the guise of “religious freedom,” the legalistic wing of creationists loudly insists that their point of view deserves equal time in the classroom.

American Airlines passengers were filmed with their hands on their heads on a flight from Los Angeles to Miami on Wednesday. All passengers aboard the flight 2289 “were ordered to put their hands on their heads for 45-60 minutes before landing,” according to passenger Chris Nguyen who filmed part of the bizarre incident:(Tweets/Videos) The unusual order also came with the warning for passengers like Nguyen not to film what was occurring on the plane. After landing in Miami, heavily armed law enforcement officers reportedly boarded the plane and appeared to arrest and remove one male passenger.

Years ago, the car rental company Avis tried to catch industry leader Hertz by boasting it was No. 2, so it was trying harder. By political convenience Kamala Harris happens to be No. 2 in Joe Biden’s presidential administration. But no one suggests she’s trying harder. Harder than whom for one thing? [Snip] She's in a difficult position that would make succeeding there difficult for any woman, especially so when she’s getting nothing but lip service from the boss’s office and

Do we really want a nationwide federal police force accountable solely to a small number of legislators, not subject to FOIA and other citizen protections applicable to the executive branch? The Acting Chief of the U.S. Capitol Police has recently announced the expansion of their federal force into Florida and California. Two new field offices will be opening in Tampa and San Francisco, due to claims from Acting Chief Yogananda Pittman that the number of threats against sitting Congressmen has doubled in the last year. However, this isn’t D.C.’s first effort to implement a new national police force.

Mount Pleasant, Wis.—The elderly woman who police say was repeatedly punched by a 17-year-old Walmart employee on Wednesday, July 7, is speaking out about the incident, saying this situation could have been avoided.
"It has been quite a journey and why anyone would do that? I don't know. And why no one helped is even more, especially in a Walmart store," said P.K. Shader, the victim.(Snip) Both the employee and Shader indicated that the incident arose over a verbal argument. According to the criminal complaint, Shader asked to speak to a manager after having negative interaction with the employee, Jazareia Velasquez.

For vice president, Kamala Harris checked all the boxes. But just because she made perfect political sense as President Biden’s running mate did not mean her elevation would work out for the Democrats. So far, the reviews are not good. But, barring a political Chernobyl, the Democratic Party is stuck with her as its nominee in 2024 or 2028. Readers of this column know that I predicted Harris would be Biden’s running mate well in advance of the Democratic convention. As VP nominations are mostly about unifying the party, an old white male moderate could only fully placate the progressive

The federal government does not require COVID-19 vaccinations, but Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday he welcomes mandates at the local level, particularly once the Food and Drug Administration grants the shots a full license instead of relying on an emergency authorization. “At the local level, there should be more mandates,” Dr. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told CNN’s “State of the Union.” “We’ve lost 600,000 Americans already.” He didn’t specify which entities should push the vaccines, but the White House has taken a hands-off approach to colleges and businesses that decide to require the shots for their employees.
