Bill Cosby’s spokesman has said he hopes to recoup damages for wrongful incarceration from the state of Pennsylvania, and accused attorneys for the comedian’s accusers of having ‘an ax to grind against black men.’Cosby was released from prison on June 30 after serving two years behind bars, when the Pennsylvania Supreme Court vacated his 2018 conviction for sexual assault, citing violations of his due process rights. Now, his publicist Andrew Wyatt says that Cosby hopes to win ‘a couple hundred grand’ in compensation for the time he spend behind bars on the now-vacated conviction.‘We are looking at what recourse, what legal recourse we can take against the state of Pennsylvania,’
You had to know this was coming. When some dumbazz prosecutor breaks the rules, this type of lawsuit is usually a slam dunk. Cosby may be a slime, but this sloppy prosecution was a travesty. You should have done it right; now the conviction is tainted and any justice for the victim will never be realized.

Are there any police reports of Cosby's initial 'assaults'?

I think Cos was your usual horn dog who took sexual advantage of these women. Might have been consensual until someone and their reptile ambulance chasing attorneys smelled a big payoff. I still think he was a genuine creep but got railroaded because he criticized the black community for being feckless criminals. Don’t buck the left’s narrative or you will pay.

As a human being Cos is somewhere between Slick Willie and Jack the Ripper. But he didn't drag these women off the street. They went with him because they wanted something from him just as he wanted something from them. The type he spent in prison is probably enough punishment.

I noticed at the time that there was not one Peep of outrage about Coz,,,,,,UNTIL he started telling the Young Black Thugs to "PULL UP YOUR PANTS!" Soon after that, his legal troubles started.
Now, if Coz can win some damages, What about all the MAGA Political Prisoners from the Jan 6th Protest that are being held- no Trial, no Charges- in Solitary Confinement in the DeeCee Jail?
WHEN will THEIR story come out?

This ought to be good! I hope and pray that Mr. Cosby has many years of vigorous good health before him so that he can carry out the legal grudge match of the century. How will the press cover it? Who will they champion: the wrongfully prosecuted Black Man, a la Floyd, et al., or the white prosecutorial team who were carrying forward the "#MeToo" movement's case? Our left wing covey of "journalists" will need to become positively schizophrenic in order to fully explicate this one for the benefit of us rubes.

I thought he must be guilty at the time the verdict came down, I no longer think so--I hope I am right. One of the funniest men ever and he always had decent shows with a sound moral message. They cannot have a black man with his message who is so popular, so they tried to destroy him.

I can't believe so many fell for the left's lynching of this black man. Cosby was not that powerful that those women couldn't have come after him when the rapes allegedly occurred or shortly thereafter. There were black and white woman making these allegations; somebody could have taken him down. The question you have to ask yourself is why did the establishment come after Cosby after all those years? And, why are so many conservatives siding with them and bill clinton's accusers have never gotten justice? Cosby may have his secrets, but the people coming after him are among the worst. Who are they? That question should make you wonder why.

Because of his TV series where he invited other African Americans to leave the plantation, I wondered when all this happened if he wasn't being railroaded. I have no way to tell and maybe you don't think so. Maybe you think Brett Kavanaugh was a gang rapist as well. Was this all just hoaxism?

Given that the other famous rapist Bill (Clinton) not only walks free but is still raking in cash by the millions, I tend to agree with the “axe to grind against black men” thing.
And I also agree it was done partially because he stepped off the demonrat plantation and told blacks to take responsibility for their own actions.

Cosby was safe till he started criticizing the Democrat-designed black culture. That was when these suits started coming into media prominence. Its for that reason I question the verdict and even the 'confessions.
I've heard of too many lawyers talking their clients into false confessions to avoid hypothetically harsher charges and sentences.

I'm tired of women coming out decades later with complaints about men with whom they had a consenting one-night stand gone bad.

This ought to be an entertaining legal battle, especially since I don't really like either side. Let them eviscerate each other.
