The New York Times off-lead story Monday by national political correspondent Alexander Burns was headlined, “U.S. Surges, But Politics Hold Firm – Partisanship Immune to Signs of Recovery.” But it may as well have been titled, “What Is Wrong With You Trump Voters?”
Flummoxed by Biden’s stubbornly so-so approval rating and continuing GOP strength, as shown in the 2020 elections, despite Biden’s apparently incredible achievements (like the pork-laden infrastructure bill?) Burns lashed out at Trump and his supporters with DNC-approved insults.
In another age, the events of this season would have been nearly certain to produce a major shift in American politics -- or at least a meaningful, discernible one.

Yep, great success. We saved 16 cents on our July 4th hot dogs!
Never mind it cost us an extra buck-and-a-half a gallon to drive to the grocery store to save that money.
All hail dear leader Biden!

The NYT is an enemy along with the rest of the woke anti-American corporations that long to destroy this country. These abject fools want to usher in complete chaos, misery and violence to a degree we cannot even begin to imagine. With Communism always comes genocide or complete to submission to their agenda.

He is at what, 60+ executive order?
Could not get one bill unifying the country to get to the congress.
Higher prices in all basic stuff, including gas, the 70s inflation is back, country is divided, and Joe is the world's laughing stock.
Yeah, wonderful successes.

What's wrong with us. We have a brain. We actually think and analyze. We live in reality, not a feel good fog. We take care of ourselves, we don't expect or want the government to.

The article author must not own a car and have to buy fuel, up 31% around here since the inauguration and so I hear, higher elsewhere. Other products even worse. It is disgraceful.

Pay no attention to the border, inflation, CRT, reducing the military morally and ethically, congressional over reach, turning Washington into a barricaded fortress, denying the people access to the Capital, and, well you get the idea. Other than that eighty million still love the creepy Matlock fan that is so demented he puts his shoes and socks on in that order and don't get me started on his "doctor" or the whore dressed up as his vp.
