No End In Sight For Gas Above $3.00, Say

One executive sees no end in sight for gas above $3.00 per gallon. Patrick de Hann — the Head of Petroleum Analysis for GasBuddy — said on FOX Business’ “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” that gas prices may remain high through the summer. “Traditionally we see gas prices start declining in mid-to-late August as we start to see things [going] back to normal, kids going back to school, vacations basically ending,” de Hann remarked. “This year, though, I think the concern is that…the normal seasonal down-turning could be mitigated by the fact that offices are starting to see returns by fall and so commutes could start to increase.”

Could Jean Fraud Carry be any more of an ignorant fool? If we get carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere, what, pray tell, will all of the flora of the world survive on? And it the plants don’t survive, humanity and all other animal life is doomed. That’s basic 2nd grade science but our vaunted “leaders” are complete idiots.

No drilling permits issued. Pipelines closed. Exxon laying off 20% of its workforce, new investments stopped. No. I don't think there is going to be any energy in the Biden administration, but what there is, is going to cost a lot.

Gas is one thing but the price of food is outrageous. Everything is either two or three times higher than two months ago. Some even more. And most food items are of lesser quality and smaller quantity. This will be a genuine crisis before long.

The average national price of a gallon of gas is $3.12, even though a barrel of domestic crude is only $76. Around here, gas stood at around $4 when oil reached nearly $140 during the Obama years. At this rate, gas should be around $6 a gallon when the price of oil goes back to $140 a barrel.

Scientific reasons for waiting to get the COVID

I voted for Donald Trump twice, but that has nothing to do with my hesitancy to get the vaccine. I'm a Christian, and that has nothing to do with it, either. Even the fact that I had COVID and should be immune doesn't matter to me. My reason is based on science and science alone. It's still an experimental vaccine; it doesn't have FDA approval; and although mRNA vaccines have been studied for years, they were not used before. My biggest fear of the vaccine is that I can't get any information about why mRNA vaccines were not used before COVID.

Foreign Media Skewer Joe Biden As ‘Barely Cogent,’

While the U.S. media frequently look the other way at President Joe Biden’s verbal and intellectual foibles, foreign media have questioned the president’s mental acuity. Australian reporters have lamented that “the leader of the free world” is “struggling,” “barely cogent,” and a “human corpse” who has sunken deep into “cognitive decline.” Those quotations come from Sky News Australia, the center-right cable news network launched in 1996 by NewsCorp Australia. Its collection of hosts and journalists have told their growing audience what many in the U.S. media have refused to say: Joe Biden’s declining intellectual capabilities threaten all Western democracies.

When I appeared on a Heritage Foundation panel discussion in 2019, I said people are manufacturing trans gender kids. They are hurting the most vulnerable members of our society by encouraging children and adolescents to live as the opposite sex, inject hormone blockers and cross-gender hormones, and undergo surgeries that irrevocably alter healthy body parts. These protocols are dangerous and unstudied, and shouldn’t be pushed on children. Yet this madness rages on like an unchecked forest fire. I was a transgender child who “transitioned” to female as an adult. I lived as female for eight years, until I woke up and admitted it wasn’t working.

A 13-year-old Michigan boy died in his sleep three days after receiving the coronavirus vaccine in June and the Centers for Disease Control has opened an investigation into the death, a report said on Sunday. Jacob Clynick — who was preparing to enter high school in the fall — received his second dose of the Pfizer vaccine at a Walgreens in Zilwaukee, Mich. on June 13, his aunt told the Detroit Free Press. Jacob was healthy and had no underlying health conditions. In the two days following the second jab, the only side effects he had experienced were the same ones most others had to deal with: fatigue and fever.

Eleven days after the Surfside building collapse, the remaining part of the building has been demolished over concerns the damaged structure was at risk of falling, endangering the crews below and preventing them from operating in some areas. The Champlain Towers South building went down at 10:30 p.m. A number of explosions could be heard and then the building started to fall, sending up massive plumes of dust into the air in the surrounding neighborhoods. The demolition was confined to the immediate area, and used gravity to bring the structure down in its place.

The contractor, who asked not to be named, visited the building last week to prepare a bid for cosmetic work on the pool and to provide the cost of new equipment as part of a multimillion-dollar restoration project at the 40-year-old structure, the outlet reported.

“The Star-Spangled Banner” is notoriously difficult to sing, but when it’s done right, chills. Check out Whitney Houston at the 1991 Super Bowl or (my favorite) Marvin Gaye at the 1983 NBA All-Star Game. “I’ve never been part of an anthem where everybody’s just in unison and lost control and just started moving. It was a beautiful moment,” the superstar hoops player Isiah Thomas recalled later. We have the song to thank for the dear position held in our collective consciousness by the words “the land of the free and the home of the brave.” As with just about everything else in America, though — statues! old movies! math! —

All that is troubling. But now there’s something that perhaps is even more troubling because of the clear potential for abuse.
