Is pride in America a thing of the past? Not if you ask Americans. As the nation celebrates its 245th birthday, the first in a series of I&I/TIPP polls finds that 68% of adults say they are “very” or “extremely” proud to be an American, with another 15% “moderately” proud. On the other end of the spectrum, only 6% say they “aren’t proud at all,” and 8% say they are only “slightly proud.” The results show that the concerted attempts by the left to describe the country as fundamentally racist, corrupt, unfair, and in need of a “transformation” have

Recall how since Reagan , the national republicans were so desperate to be part of the free shrimp and black turtleneck sophisticated fund raisers and party. Karl Rove made sure those obnoxious social conservatives with their patriotism and guns and religion that they clung to didn’t stand in the way of raising money from gay agendaists and antiAmerican Rothschild Rockefeller globalists. And here we are.

When young students are taught in school that America has an evil past and that this evil still prevails. it's embedded in their minds. Such teachings at Annapolis, West Point, Air Force Academy, etc., do not make a strong military. China and Russia notice such things.

People may be “ fundamentally racist, corrupt, unfair”, but our country’s founding ideals were and are a massive, inspired, unparalleled transformation of the role of government…and all that is being offered for its detractors is a return to failed ancient policies.

Well, we don’t teach civics or any other patriotic focused topics or history in the schools. There is no pledge of allegiance or prayer. Liberal’s children learn to despise, criticize, hate and to not compromise or accept anyone who has a different concept or belief. Those of us who are older are not surprised at their responses.

Just one of the millions of wonderful things about the US is that no one can or will prevent you from leaving if you don’t like it here. OK, snowflakes, the ball is in your court. Go ahead and find a country which you think is more to your liking. But when reality hits you, don’t come back here.

Yes, our public indoctrination centers and social media monopoly are currently winning, having turned our young people into political zombies. So what are we doing about it? Have you seen the film, "The Social Dilemma", yet?

Young people are especially stupid. They have no historical perspective to draw from. Most are trying to figure out what to do with their lives, and impatient about all of it. For those under 25, what has this country done in their life time that would make them proud of their country? They've been enrolled in schools that didn't teach them anything about their country that pointed to pride, and the media they do watch doesn't portray anything positive about the U.S. So I'm not surprised the poll shows only 36% of young people are proud of the country. The kids are too busy navel gazing to realize they live in a pretty good country and have it fairly easy.

Most kids I see today are spoiled rotten by their parents. I watched it for 40 years in the workplace. They pampered them, asked nothing of them. We had a big snow storm. My boss got up early and shoveled while his two big strong boys, age 16, slept. They did their homework for them, sent them to the best schools. Probably some of you have done this without realizing what you are doing. Just watch TV, it is a big lovefest for parents raising kids. Kids have zero respect for parents, they talk back with no fear. They even call them names. Sorry about my rant, it is just frustrating and shocking.

We imagine tens of millions of Americans want to clean up after a day at work struggling to earn enough to keep up with the Biden inflation. But a quick shower under a healthy stream is another luxury the White House wants to take away from Americans. The current administration announced last week that it intends to force low-flow showerheads on the country that popularized showering, overriding an effort by the Trump administration to give consumers more options and reining in a government that believes it has no boundaries.

As TV screens showed the Dow Jones tumbling on inflation and renewed COVID fears, President Joe Biden took to the podium Monday to brag about how great the economy is doing and why he deserves all the credit. It was a remarkable act of prestidigitation for such an old man. Biden said that “it’s true that the economy was sputtering before I got here.” That’s provably false. He said that: “We’ve gone from 60,000 jobs per month to … more than 600,000 jobs per month since I took office.” That’s grossly misleading.

Young adults today are likely unfamiliar with the term “misery index.” But they could soon learn about it the hard way, thanks to President Joe Biden’s economic incompetence. The misery index, a measure started under President Lyndon Johnson, is a simple measure combining the unemployment rate and the inflation rate. The idea being that joblessness and a fast-rising cost of living produces palpable misery in the country. The index has long been forgotten because it’s been so low for so long.

Hunter, you see, has no experience as an artist. And, based on the paintings we’ve seen, he has no discernible talent. But Hunter’s “artwork” will be sold at “a private and confidential opening” in Los Angeles, with the various pieces said to be priced between $75,000 and $500,000. If they do so, they will get precious little support at home. The poll found that 79% of the public say it’s important “for professional athletes to publicly respect the American flag on the international level,” with 60% saying it is “very important.” Just 16% of the adults surveyed think it’s not important.

A country of roughly 330 million has more than 9 million job openings, and 9.5 million unemployed. This is a disgrace, a clear indication that our American character and work ethic are slipping, a rolling tragedy that’s been authored by the Democrats. Three years ago, before Democrat Joe Biden was the president, while the Republicans still held a majority in the Senate, The Saturday Evening Post wondered if “the American work ethic (has) gotten worse.” “Have Americans lost their willingness to apply their noses to the grindstone, or to work hard for anything they get in life?” The venerable publication concluded “that’s not what statistics show.” Today’s data, however, tell a different story
