Evanston, IL - A middle school drama teacher is suing Evanston/Skokie School District 65 in federal court for alleged discrimination. Stacy Deemar, who is white, filed the lawsuit (Snip) "When you have a picture of a white person dressed as a devil, telling the students that whiteness is a bad deal, and telling students that they need to sign away their whiteness, or in the classroom, saying an anti-racist pledge and putting it up on the board to look at every single day, you are telling students that they are either oppressed or the oppressor solely because of their skin color," Herman said.

Takes balls. Ironic that it's in Skokie, one of the last times the ACLU stood for something. Does Stacy Deemar have a Go Fund Me page?

Yes, it was Skokie where ACLU stood up for the Illinois Nazis, and I see since then, they are thriving and have taken positions on school boards and public office.

This was my kids’ elementary district in the 90’s. Evanston is and always has been full of virtue signaling leftists, its schools are almost 50% black and always have been but the city is very affluent, pretty white. They are also giving reparations. I’m so happy about this, and I wish them success!

They’re in hot H2O. Scientific American found itself taking heat this month after the scholarly, 176-year-old magazine published an opinion piece titled “Health Care Workers Call for Support of Palestinians.” The screechy diatribe accused Israel of “vaccine apartheid” and “war crimes” among other alleged abuses.(Snip)Among the biggest sticking points were the article’s failure to note that the 1993 Oslo Accords tasks the Palestinian Authority to provide healthcare services to its people. The same agreement also prohibits Israel from providing care unless asked by the Palestinian Authority.

For 110 years, four generations of Mills family members earned their money by expanding their great-grandfather’s Chicago apron business into a medical supplier that ranked among the nation’s largest private companies. But soon after Democrats turned their attention toward raising taxes for the wealthy this year, the family signed a deal to cash out billions. (Snip) The threat of subjecting billions in proceeds to additional capital gains taxes motivated the clan to get it done before the end of 2021, when higher rates could take effect, the people said. Chicago   — A veteran mail carrier is fed up and speaking out – exposing the behind-the-scenes issues affecting mail delivery. (Snip) The carrier, who wants to remain anonymous, believes the severe USPS staffing shortage is partially due to the emergency federal employee leave enacted this year – which gives postal workers up to 600 hours of paid leave for COVID-related reasons. That’s right, 600 hours – roughly four months of paid time off if employees qualify. “There’s rumors that people that’s using that COVID leave don’t need it,” the carrier said. And that’s not all. The carrier said his supervisor told him package delivery is now a priority over first-class mail.

I used to think corporate bureaucracy was bad because it’s inefficient. That’s true, but it’s not the biggest problem. Rather, there’s a new invisible force at work in the highest ranks of corporate America, one far more nefarious. It’s the defining scam of our time — one that robs you of not only your money, but your voice and your identity. (Snip) This new woke-industrial Leviathan gains its power by dividing us as a people. When corporations tell us what social values we’re supposed to adopt, they take America as a whole and divide us into tribes.
