Information technology company Kaseya warned its 40,000 clients that there was a “potential attack” on its VSA tool, which is used to manage computers remotely. The company posted a security advisory to its help desk site, urging customers to shut down their servers running the service:
We are experiencing a potential attack against the VSA that has been limited to a small number of on-premise customers only as of 2:00 PM EDT today.
We are in the process of investigating the root cause of the incident with an abundance of caution but we recommend that you IMMEDIATELY shutdown your VSA server until you receive further notice from us.

President Joe Biden took notes out of his jacket when asked about “the most recent hack by the Russians” during an ostensibly unscripted visit to a farmer’s market on Saturday in Central Lake, MI.
A woman, unseen in video of the moment, asked the president, “With the most recent hack by the Russians, would you say that this means that…?”
Biden interrupted the woman before she could complete her question.
“We’re not sure it’s the Russians,” the president interjected. “I got a brief while I was on the plane. That’s why I was late getting off the plane. I got a brief. I’ll be in better shape

President Joe Biden’s administration has announced a federal initiative to bring back to the United States illegal aliens who were deported for committing crimes but who are the relatives of American service members, as well as Veterans and service members who were deported after committing crimes.
On July 4th weekend, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas revealed the details of the initiative designed to bring back to the U.S. illegal alien service members, their illegal alien relatives, and Veterans who were deported after having committed crimes.
“The Department of Homeland Security recognizes the profound commitment and sacrifice that service members

There’s definitely somebody leaking stuff on Kamala Harris, trying to warn people off of her. We’ve covered a few stories already about how folks are leaking what chaos there is in her office, and how some staffers even dumped her and quit.
That raises interesting questions about who’s leaking — and why now. But, it also raises further concerns about her abilities. We’ve already seen, without those reports, that she’s a disaster with how she handles things, such as how she’s dealt or more exactly, not dealt with, the border crisis. With Joe Biden such a mess, her problems are obviously a deep concern when she’s the back-up.

The whisper campaign against Vice President Kamala Harris has its origins among White House aides who increasingly see her as incapable of defeating any Republican challenger in 2024, including Donald Trump.
Recent missteps and gaffes by Harris at the border and with reporters have top Democrats worried that Harris simply isn’t up to the task of heading the Democratic ticket if Biden — who will be 81 if he runs — decides to stand aside.
It’s not just the gaffes. Biden aides have been undermining Harris’s authority in her own office, using recent revelations about its dysfunction to raise serious questions about her competence and temperament.

The Army and other branches of the military are preparing to administer mandatory COVID-19 vaccines as early as Sept. 1. This order is pending full Food and Drug Administration approval of the COIVD-19 vaccines, now under emergency use approval. The Army Times is reporting that the directive came from an executive order sent by the Department of the Army Headquarters.
Army Times obtained a portion of a recent update to HQDA EXORD 225-21, COVID-19 Steady-State Operations. Apparently, the Pentagon assumes that full approval from the FDA will come by September. “Commanders will continue COVID-19 vaccination operations and prepare for a directive to mandate COVID-19 vaccination

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) this week revealed several instances where service members were forced to classify themselves by race and socio-economic status during diversity and inclusion training.
In one instance, Crenshaw said soldiers were forced to wear personal identification badges that listed their race, ethnicity, social class, and other things, during at training at Fort Bliss in Texas.
Crenshaw said the badges reduced soldiers to a list of characteristics that have “nothing to do with their service or their training or the content of their character.” He added:
Most soldiers do not believe that they are the sum of identity groups and it’s absurd

In the current midterm election cycle, more Republican women have announced a prospective run for House seats across the country, according to reports.
Wall Street Journal reported that moves like this fuel the confidence in the party’s plans to send a large number of women to the House, building off their successes in the 2020 election cycle. Despite the current pace of Republican women stepping up to run in the House, Democrats have had more female Members of Congress for years.
In the last election, Republican women were among some of the most anticipated candidates to watch across the nation. Most notably, of the 14 Republican wins

There seem to be two types of Republicans – those who learned something from the Trump era and those who didn’t. Unfortunately, there are far too many members of the GOP political class who appear to have been in a coma from 2016-2020, and the rush to return to the pre-Trump status quo has been apparent.
As the minority party heading into 2022 with strong tailwinds, Republicans have one job. That job is to be the opposition. That means not making “deals” that worsen the plight of working-class voters in order to hand Joe Biden and his allies a huge win. GOP voters do not care about being bought off

The Biden team is a constant exercise in Orwellian thought. The truth is frequently the opposite of what they say.
Just in the past few days, we’ve been told that Republicans were the ones who wanted to defund the police, despite Jen Psaki not being able to name one Republican who was in favor of it, while it’s been Democrats across the country for the past year pushing it. Then there was the effort by Psaki to try to convince Americans they really weren’t feeling those rising prices this year at the July 4th cookout because they were saving 16 cents on hot dogs (which wasn’t even true).

The Supreme Court’s decision upholding two Arizona voting provisions has brought a sharp rebuke from the White House. Joe Biden issued a statement that begins, “I am deeply disappointed in today’s decision by the United States Supreme Court that undercuts the Voting Rights Act, and upholds what Justice Kagan called ‘a significant race-based disparity in voting opportunities.’”
The Department of Justice issued a separate statement on the decision. It promises that “the Department of Justice will never stop working to protect the democracy to which all Americans are entitled,” and urges Congress to “enact additional legislation to provide more effective protection for every American’s right to vote.”

A federal judge has ruled that a provision in President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 relief bill limiting state tax cuts is unconstitutional, handing a victory to Republicans.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost had filed a federal lawsuit against the Treasury Department and its secretary, Janet Yellen, alleging that a provision in the $1.9 trillion Democratic spending package that prohibits states from using relief funds to offset tax cuts or credits “directly or indirectly” is unconstitutional.
U.S. District Judge Douglas Cole issued the permanent injunction against what Yost dubbed the “tax mandate” on Thursday, ruling that the provision exceeds the federal government’s power over states.
