George Washington University law professor and Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley joined criminal defense attorney Donna Rotunno on "The Story" Tuesday to react to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturning the sex assault conviction of Bill Cosby.(snip)JONATHAN TURLEY: I think the court was clearly correct. This was a trial that became entirely untethered from basic principles of due process. This is part of the corrosive effect of high-profile trials. The prosecutors, the judge, discarded basic guarantees of a defendant. Here, an earlier prosecutor determined that he did not have evidence to try [Bill] Cosby on these charges. So he agreed he would not do so if Cosby agreed to participate in

From another article by Turley - this one on Cosby’s possibly suing for wrongful conviction and malicious prosecution:
Ultimately, his lawsuit could present Gov. Wolf with a political dilemma. Cosby has cognizable claims for wrongful conviction and malicious prosecution. However, he is not exactly a popular cause for many in Pennsylvania. Roughly 50 women accused him and Cosby admitted to giving drugs to his alleged victims before sexual acts. Bill Cosby is the ultimate example that you do not have to be entirely innocent to be wrongly convicted.

Something's missing here. What is it?
The "journalist" who filed these reports
forgot to include the name of the
prosecutor responsible for this debacle.

There was not enough evidence of a crime to even bring a case to trial.
There were no victims. Young slutty women wanted free drugs, high times hanging out with celebrities and 'scalps'...." "I had sex with famous people."
Cosby wanted sex, gave drugs and access to celebrity parties. It was a deal agreed to by both sides.
Then, years later, the women decided that they "were taken advantage of".....and Hey, you owe me money, rich guy!
I call BS on the whole deal. Other women made a deal much like Horizontal Harris, but wanted another payoff.

It’s interesting to see his defenders’ “logic”… A window into some men’s minds.

Turley pops up to explain the court is correct, after the fact. Why did you say nothing for all these years, mastermind?

Bill Cosby said in a 2005 legal deposition that he obtained prescriptions of a powerful sedative to give to women he wanted to have sex with, according to documents released Monday in a Pennsylvania court.
The comedian's testimony was part of a civil suit involving a woman who accused him of drugging her and sexually assaulting her.
At one point, Cosby was asked by the woman's attorney about his use of prescriptions for the pills, known as Quaaludes.
"When you got the Quaaludes, was it in your mind that you were going to use these Quaaludes for young women that you wanted to have sex with?" the lawyer asked.
"Yes," Cosby said, according to the document, which was released after a request by The Associated Press.

This all happened after Cosby had been getting attention for saying in public that blacks should go to school, be married, stop taking drugs, stop gang banging and generally being feral.
Can't have a popular black man saying that stuff so he had to be destroyed.

The thing here is, Cosby admitted he raped her. What else was there to prove?

When a DA makes a deal it's binding on his successors else no defense attorney will ever allow their client to do it.
It's that simple.

Turley, as usual, explains further. As usual, he is easy to understand. This was entirely the fault of the judge and the prosecutor. The losers? The victims. who did not get a fair trial.
