To say that San Francisco is in decline would be an understatement. The city that once captured the hearts and minds of everyone who saw it is a shadow of what it once was thanks to skyrocketing crime, rampant drug addiction, and Democrat policies that continue to worsen every problem it has. Now, San Francisco residents are so tired of drowning in the issues that nearly half of them are planning to pack up and leave.
According to CBS San Francisco, the city’s Chamber of Commerce conducted a poll with more than five hundred registered voters and found that over 40 percent of the residents said they planned to move out

I was in SFO last March and downtown was like a ghost town. Very few cars on the road and no people on sidewalks. Residential areas had for rent signs in every window. Businesses were closed and the only people in any number were the homeless. Oakland seems to be the homeless Bay are done. Huge camps and tent cities with shacks built out of pallets plywood and blue tarps. Trash piles 6’ high. I did not feel safe anywhere. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. Plus rents are extremely high from people I talked to that live there. An 800sf small two bedroom apartment in a 50 year old building runs $2,000 a month.

They will be glad when all the taxpaying, productive citizens leave. More room for their beloved homeless, and more yards for them to use as bathrooms.
Just please, please dont come to free America. If you must, do not vote or get involved with local issues for at least ten years. Learn the local customs and dialect, and lose the grey pony tail and spandex bicycle shorts. Never tell anyone where you came from. Tell them Nevada or something.
Someone here at LDot provided some excellent advice that I have repeated and will again...Remember you are a refugee, not a missionary.

This is the same fate that all Democrap run utopias end up suffering. Unfortunately, the locust plague moves on to greener pastures and does the same thing there, too. Rinse, repeat.
Urban population centers are breeding grounds for woke communist ideologies. They are destroying America.

Have not visited that sinking shite-town since dot-com frenzy of 2001, when room tax was ocer $100 a nite. Loved staying at the Petite Auberge and the Park Hyatt, going to Club Fugazzi, ferry to Sausalito, driving over the Golden Gate Bridge (w the then small toll taken by human toll takers), taking the non-bullet train in from Fresno shopping jewelry at Gumps in Union Square, have eaten at the Tadich Grill every time we went to ‘Frisco’ since the 70s - wonder if it is still there, loved asking for a Long Island Iced tea and hear the starched waiters comments when they saw what went in it; Ghirardelli Square chocolate, hearing the cable cars after they rebuilt the tracks…..
If the Big One strikes San Francisco, 1) not sure if we’ll notice, and 2) sure the hell don’t want MY taxes in Texas to get stolen by Kalifornia & Federal crooks ‘rebuilding’

“ ... I really thought I was going to be sad when the movers loaded up the last container on Saturday, and I have never been more relieved,”
I just moved from the Bay Area, leaving the house I have lived in for 43 years and I felt the same way. I thought I would feel bad but I didn’t. At all. Just felt so relieved to finally have escaped.
I am a POLITICAL refugee. Conservatives are not welcome there.

Was on an interstate in Texas the other day and saw a U-haul truck towing a trailer with a Caddy with CA plates on it. Here they come.

Blind-eyed Batsh crazy. Who would you rather have leave ? Half your taxpayers or all your tent dwellers ? The only thing slowing the evacuation is a lack of incoming buyers and a collapse of housing prices.

The problem that these liberal clowns is that they don't understand the cause of the problem, it's them. They move to another location and do the same thing. Look a Bozeman Montana, it's now referred to as Bozesisco because of what all the people from kalifornia are doing to the place. It's a thought process that does all of the damage, not crime, guns etc. When people think like liberals the end is not far away.

Just moved to the Winter Park area of Orlando to be closer to family. What a shock! See a lots of tinkerbells from Kali moving into the area. They are competing with the tinkerbells from the northeastern states. None of it is at all positive..
