On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) stated she doesn’t regret her comments grouping the United States and Israel with terrorist groups and that House Democrats who have criticized some of her comments as antisemitic “haven’t been equally engaging in seeking justice around the world.” And “have engaged in Islamophobic tropes.”Host Jake Tapper asked, “Ultimately, Democratic leaders said that equating the U.S. and Israel with Hamas and the Taliban ‘foments prejudice.’ And as you know, a group of Jewish House Democrats wrote a letter to President Biden saying that accusing Israel of acts of terror, as you and other members of the Squad have done,

Islam is a cancer on humanity. Violent, barbaric, murderous and absolutely uninterested in real, lasting peace until every Christian is either dead or enslaved. These are not my opinion, they are the actual tenets of their religion, written as instructions in the holy book.

Islamophobic? I saw the second airplane hit the tower on live TV. One of the insurance companies that my agency represented was involved with the Pentagon cleanup. You do not want to know the details. Fear of Islam? Yes but I also hate it with a passion. It’s amazing that we are allowing traitors to serve in Congress.

McALLEN, Texas—House Republicans want to make immigration a centerpiece of the 2022 midterms. They can’t do that without fully embracing Donald Trump — a reunion that they sealed on Wednesday. The group of roughly two dozen GOP lawmakers got outsized attention for their trip to this border town simply because it was a precursor to Trump’s own visit. And Republicans soaked up that notice, with two immigration hard-liners even walking alongside migrants seeking asylum. Gov. Greg Abbott (R-Texas), whose invitation to the border Trump accepted, set the tone with an effusive introduction of the former president as having done “more to secure the border than anybody and any

But when she was pressed on which specific Republicans in Congress voted no on the bill in an effort to defund the police, “Psaki was drawn up short.”She responded to Fox News saying: I think actions speak louder than words. President Biden called on Congress to restore fundamental voting rights as he expressed his disappointment that the U.S. Supreme Court had upheld Republican-backed rules in Arizona, rejecting claims that they discriminate against racial minorities. The 6-3 ruling, with the court's conservative justices in the majority, endorsed regulations designed to restrict so-called ballot harvesting and preventing voters from casting ballots outside their home precinct. It comes as a raft of Republican states looks to tighten voting rules amid President Donald Trump's claims that fraud cost him the 2020 election.

Vogue, the world's fashion bible, has placed Jill Biden on her cover as the epitome of fashion. She's a "goddess," they explain. Which is a stretch, given that the first lady has sported getups like this loud red zebra print dress, or these huge-print patterned pantyhose worn with elfin spike heel ankle boots. It goes to show that its whole schtick is politics, not fashion. After all, the big fashion bible for the world's stylish somehow managed to overlook the nation's truly stylish first lady, Melania Trump, a former super-model, who not only was quite beautiful, but age-appropriate and elegant in her four years as first lady.
